delivery drivers are super lazy. saw my usps van in my apartment complex around 545pm & was expecting a package by 6pm as stated in my records. didn't even get the package, the website still said delivered by 6pm, and still haven't received it next business day. on top of that, they don't know whose mail is whose & just throws any mail in peoples mailbox. Really sick of my delivery person blatantly lying when refusing to do their job. This is not the first time I've been home all day just to see whoever is delivering gave a dishonest excuse to skip out on their job. This time, it says that the customer, meaning me, REQUESTED it not be delivered and instead held at the post office. Excuse me? I've also gotten that there were obstructions in the road when it was not winter/snow and everything was perfectly clear. Other excuses were there wasn't enough room in the mailbox when one, I've had plenty of deliveries taken to my porch and two, the mail/packages could fit into the mailbox. Also, I've had enough packages and mail bent and broken (to the point where I had to be refunded by the seller) because of the damage caused by a lazy delivery person. There are enough good people out there hurting for a job that they could do this job and do it right. I am extremely disappointed with our current mail carrier for one reason. I was waiting for a package that was signature required. This package contained high value items. The delivery notification was sent to me, but the time passed and the mailman did not come to our door. I looked the package up online and the courier signed the package for us and left it in the mailbox. I am super unhappy because this is not the first time this has happened. The signature was fraudulent and someone could have removed it from our mailbox. I have had several conversations with this post office about issues and they basically told me boo. This post office is horrible! A Priority Mail package that should have been delivered on 3/29 sat somewhere in their post office until May 6th! When I asked the Supervisor he just shrugged his shoulders and smirked about it. "What do you want me to do? I don't know why that happened." This is not the first time mistakes have happened. Ok this Post Office (7th and Ann Streets) and it's employees are insanely bad. Its a disgrace that it has the letters US before it, which should be proudly adhered to. Lost mail, late mail, damaged mail, opened, wrong mailbox you name it. Not a week goes by, that's right a week, that I don't have some else's mail in my box so I can only assume mine is going somewhere else at times. When I leave it in the box to be properly distributed the next day, its still in there with new mail on top of it. I've received mail with a Mt Pocono address in my Stroudsburg mail box. Way way off.... What are freakin kidding me? Do you job butthole-stay off your phone and pay attention. I refuse to buy products that will be using post office to deliver. Horrible liars. They suddenly hired all these temporary workers who don't give a damn. They were caught writing their little slips and didn't bother to even put packages in the vehicle. My house has been built since 2005 and several months they say it's dangerous property that they don't have the room to turn around mind you nothing has changed. I received no notification that the rules had changed I need paperwork so that I can file a lawsuit against them. They are liars and don't want the work. Something has got to change. Contacted Attorney General of PA. Service outside is inept and unreliable. They left a slip so I could pick up a mousepad that fit in the mailbox again they don't even bother putting packages in vehicles. Maybe the news should get involved! read more

We're snowbirds and this year this Post Office didn't know to resume delivery after we had called and gone down there to pick up our mail - so a week later after I called again they said delivery will be resumed tomorrow --- so we'll see what happens -- Terrible!! read more

Well.... this place has its good and bad days. Good days it would get a 5 out of 5 but lately I would give this post office negative stars. I have lived at my address for 4 years now. Up until March my packages were always dropped off on my porch as expected. Lately 5 of 6 packages that should have been delivered have not been delivered. I have to find time to make it to the post office before they close to pick up my packages now. It does not make sense to me. I think there is a new delivery person on my route that doesn't feel like walking packages to my porch. There was one day when there was a different carrier in the truck, my package made it to my porch! Surprise surprise! Last time at the post office, the guy at the counter told me to talk to a supervisor and make a complaint. I'm not one to complain but the guy helping me at the counter kept insisting on it saying "if you don't make a complaint, nothing will change". Well I talked to a supervisor that said they would get to the bottom of it and took my name and number. I never heard back and I am still not receiving packages at home! read more

The carrier was putting my mail in the wrong box. I receive my mail in a cluster 8 box mail box system. The box beside mine was empty and that's where my mail was going. I have been receiving mail since Nov. 2018. This incident just started Feb. 1. It was not a new carrier; I checked. The rest of my story involves lies, cover ups, and reveals illegal activity on their part. Here is the important thing. You have to do something about it besides complaining to the post master of that post office. Birds of a feather flock together. You must take it to a higher authority. You can file a complaint on line with the postal inspector, but just like in my case, they lied and went to great lengths to cover their butts. I have photos of the postal carrier removing the name tag from the back of my box AFTER my complaint was filed. This was their excuse for explaining why my mail was piling up in another box. The postal service is the only ones who have access to open the back of the mail unit. Duh! Anyway, here's what we all can do. First, get a trail camera and the bracket unit and strap it to a tree where you can capture the postal carriers activities. Trail cameras are fun anyway because you can observe the wild life. You can buy them at Dunklebergers just for an example. Second, you can report these issues with our federal senator Pat Toomey. I picked up a privacy release form from Scavello's office. They will forward it to the proper agency for investigating. This post office is obviously corrupt and abusing it's power as a federal agency. If everyone with a serious problem complains to federal senators, congressman, and the post master general, I guarantee something will be done about even if it's because they are sick of receiving complaints. BUT EVERYONE HAS TO DO IT. Complaining on yelp doesn't do anything. The post office thinks they are untouchable. They may not lose their jobs because the union will protect them for awhile, but we can bombard them with paper work and put them under the microscope. And I'm up for a peaceful demonstration. You can fight and get justice. I started a class action lawsuit several years ago and won big. I have experience in bringing down those who think they are above the law( with God's help, of course).
