So, I have informed mail delivery. I did not get mail delivery on Saturday, 1-17-2026. So the 7 pieces of mail that I was supposed to get on Saturday did not come, for what reason is unknown, I will not get delivery until Tuesday, 1-20-2026 because of MLK Holiday on Monday,1-19-2026. This P.O. is about the most ill run outfit I have ever seen. Whatever happened to the slogan, " Rain, Sleet, or Snow, The Mail Will Go." I guess all the good and dedicated employees retired. 0 Stars again. read more

Tried to set up online account for a business. Could not get it to work after 20 minutes. Did call an 800-275-8777 and got no help. Asked if I could renew at a PO where my PO Box was not located. The person did not know if I could do that. Also, could not call another post office, other than 800-275-8777. Horrible service. read more

Sioux City has the worst USPS design of any city that I have lived in. First, there is one main location. The hours are not conducive to people that have full-time jobs. Recently, I needed to return a package to a sender, and the attendant was rude and refused to help. read more

The customer service from the start of our time here was awful. We simply needed a new mailbox key because we just moved into a new apartment complex and when inquiring about the key all of the workers stared at us like we're crazy. Finally, they decided to put in a work order to get a new lock and key for our mailbox. When I asked how long this would take, the woman stared at me and said well the locksmith retired so not sure when that will even get taken care of. So I don't even know when I'll be getting my mail next...great read more

The woman I bought stamps from today was very nice and even let me pick out my stamp design. At the moment (January 2019) they have an adorable 8ft snowman made out of shipping boxes and such. It's really cool. Now sometimes the woman who actually delivers our mail is kinda a Grinch and does if there's a trash can in the driveway (NOT blocking the mailbox at all) and I swear if there's a dusting of snow in the street she passes us, too. But that's really not the 'post office's' fault; just the carrier. P.O. Boxes available 24/7. Decent parking. And this locatiis a Pokestop!!!

They insult you if you refuse to accept mail delivery if it is not yours but has your address on it. They won't close your mailbox if it's snowing or raining so whatever was put in there is soaking wet.

Until.... I called the UPS store on Sergeant Road. (Mind you I have never been to Sioux City and this was an Ebay purchase I was lucky enough to have the seller drop off). I was fortunate to have reached an employee there named Calissa that worked with me on an amazing quote for packing + shipping and communicated well throughout. My heavy picture & frame not only arrived on time, but it was the most amazing job I have ever seen. It took me over 30 minutes to get everything unboxed as the attention to detail with bubble packs and foam assured absolutely nothing was out of place. Hands down the best job for the price I could have ever hoped for! Big A+ to UPS and Calissa for the hard work and expertise! Bravo! Go HERE if you want your package shipped right!
