They have self-service kiosk open 24/7 and a counter (open during office hours) with 2-3 people for those who wants stamps or grab a free USPS box. If you are concerned on when your package will arrive, go to UPS--they have options and will be generally cheaper. If you want to send a postcard, this is the place to go. If you're sensible adult, you should have a sheet of forever stamps with you. There is a lot of parking space, too.

A man walked in angry yelling and rude. He had no right to be screaming at the employees all over a mask. Something we should all be wearing to keep everyone safe. Phelix and John were working today. The man was working with phelix. Phelix remained professional calm and collected. He was a true example of a wonderful employee!! John helped distract a child in line who was witnessing this outburst with profanities. Everyone in the office is wonderful.

They have been really friendly, but the wait time is undesirable. The parking lot is a little tricky, and has a blind spot as you are trying to pull out. Several times per week they truck stops, then has to back up and hit houses again due to mail they missed putting in boxes. Things get marked "delivered" when they aren't. Packages, don't get us started. The mail will be put in our boxes, and if we are expecting a package (Informed Delivery tells us), it doesn't get delivered until the next day, or someone comes by late and puts it on the porch. Recently a letter arrived wet, TWO DAYS after it rained. Going to the main branch, pretty much all we have, means long lines and grouchy staff. A man at the main post office in town told a neighbor "if she didn't like it, she could buy a PO Box." This part of Dothan is expanding but instead of putting a small satellite post office here to help, we're getting another Dollar store. If you're moving here, be aware that you'll be pretty unhappy with mail service.
