But as far as Post Offices go, this one is just like any other you've visited in the past four decades: outdated, inefficient, long lines, etc. etc. etc. On a recent visit, I was there for over an hour and had to stand in line TWICE to get something mailed. Honestly, it was ridiculous. I had tried to use the self-service machine in the lobby which, while still utilizing technology from the 1980s, is still usually a more efficient way to send a package. When the machine malfunctioned, I stood in a long line to try to send it at the counter; but instead the ONE person working there informed me she would send a manager out to fix it since my package wasn't pre-addressed. (I had been planning to print out the address on the label at the machine....argggghhhh.) I waited about 10 minutes for the manager to come fix the machine. When he finally arrived (looking annoyed), he announced he couldn't fix it. So I had to GET BACK IN LINE for another 20 minutes (and bum a pen off of another patron) to finally mail my package. Really, this whole thing should have taken no more than 10 minutes. Anyway, the USPS is what it is. My package arrived safely and I guess that's all that really matters. But seriously, if this isn't an example of an inefficient business model I don't know what is!

She was kind and friendly and consistent in asking if customers needed stamps, and if they would complete a survey. She's an asset to this location. The only reason this is not five-star is because the facility is outdated and nobody likes going to a United States postal building since often times they're run down. But Ivory made all the difference. I will be back to this location because of her, if ever needed.

I said I ordered it online and she got very rude and said I need to have my application with me but I didn't so I asked if I could get it printed off my phone because I had it on there. She got even more rude and snarky with how she talked and said we don't provide printing services here. But I've had things printed at the post office before. Girl didn't seem like she knew how to do her job and was VERY rude from the moment I walked in. So I'm currently out 100 dollars and didn't get my keys. Don't ever use this post office. The workers don't deserve a job there.

I like this post office better than the one that is two blocks from my house. This is a small location but serves my needs perfectly. I've always been fortunate to find parking nearby, have spend very little time in line, and customer service has been decent. The facility is clean and well kept. They have a small selection of mailboxes. I know those seem like really simple things but they're not. Aside from the post office near my work, this is one of my favorites. It's a sad day when bad experiences are more likely than not in what used to be a proud institution.
