I did a Silly Thing: I had Amazon send me a package to my AirBNB here in Ruidoso. I never thought for a moment that the package might be sent by USPS instead of UPS. When Amazon told me the package had been delivered, I realized my mistake. So, I texted the owner of the AirBNB, but he told me that he didn't have a mailbox here at all, because of it being a short-term rental. What to do?
I went down to the Post Office on Mechem Drive, and was assisted by a gentleman named Frank. Frank took my information and enlisted the aid of another gentleman whose name I didn't get, but whom Frank called "Boss."
Together, the two of them worked to locate my package and have it brought back to the Post Office where I picked it up in due course.
What a great example of going "above and beyond" in Customer Service. It meant a lot to me to receive such professional and courteous and effective service. Thank you, Frank and Boss!!
