I've always lucked out and found a parking spot in the 15-minute zone near the front entrance. My favorite feature is the self-service postage kiosk between the main entrance and full-service counter, which usually has at least a few people in line. It's rare to have to wait for the self-service terminal. It prints stamps, measures and weighs parcels/envelopes and prints the postage for them as well, with the address automatically filled in. Pay with a card, and you're outta there in minutes without any personal interaction. On the rare times I've had to visit the full-service counter, the staff has always been helpful and efficient.

We simply scheduled an appointment through the USPS website, chose the nearest post office, and selected a suitable date and time (Saturdays appointments available!). To make the process even smoother, we filled out the application in advance. On the day of our appointment, we brought our passports, our baby's original birth certificate, the completed application form, and a personal check to cover the fees. We paid a total of $150 for the routine passport book with photo services ($100 to the US State Department and $50 for processing and photo fees). The post office clerk reviewed the application and forwarded it to the appropriate authorities for processing. Now, we just have to wait... easy peasy! Tips*** Money orders are available in lieu of personal checks. This location has photo services for $15.

The level of frustration with this location is absolutely unacceptable. I live directly across the street from this post office, and for the past few weeks (FIVE to be exact) I have repeatedly received mail belonging to other people (I even received two utility bills addressed to people that don't live on my street), while mail that is supposed to be delivered to me has mysteriously gone missing (or never arrived at all). Delivering mail accurately is one of the most basic responsibilities of the United States Postal Service, yet somehow this location continues to do an unprofessional job. Customers should NOT have to constantly wonder whether their important letters, utility bills, or other correspondence will actually reach their intended destination. AND DON'T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO CALL THIS POST OFFICE! Apparently, answering the telephone is another responsibility that nobody seems particularly interested in fulfilling. The phone rings, nobody answers, and customers are left wondering whether anyone actually works behind that desk. What is the purpose of having a publicly listed telephone number if no one can be bothered to answer it? And if the ongoing delivery problems and nonexistent telephone service weren't enough, I've also witnessed some extremely questionable behavior involving postal personnel. On one occasion, a mail carrier assigned to deliver mail to my address smelled strongly of what appeared to be marijuana. We're NOT talking about an employee of Walmart, Family Dollar, or Rouses Supermarket here, we're talking about a FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE who is supposed to know better. On another occasion, I visited this post office to mail a letter, only to encounter extremely loud rap music blasting through the facility, complete with vulgar and sexually explicit lyrics. Now, I have absolutely nothing against rap music, but there's a time and place for everything. A United States Post Office is a federal workplace serving the general public, NOT somebody's personal entertainment lounge or a nightclub. Customers should be able to conduct their business in a reasonably professional environment without being subjected to loud music filled with profanity. Where is the supervision? Where are the professional standards? And most importantly, where in the world is management? Customers should not have to chase down their own mail or play "neighborhood mail carrier" because someone else isn't doing the job correctly. I understand that postal employees have demanding jobs, but that does not excuse repeated delivery errors. The public deserves reliable service, professionalism, and meaningful solutions instead of ongoing inconvenience. USPS management needs to take these complaints seriously, investigate the delivery problems, and implement corrective measures. This location needs serious improvement!

This location does not have a self service kiosk in the lobby, but a lot in the area do not. The employees are a bit short, but remember, the USPS is one of the largest public government services, they are in the red, and they have a lot of stressors in their lives with cutbacks and adjustments, they are having to do the same amount of work with fewer employees and less money. The prices on the good sold here are NOT set by the employees, this is a government institution, the prices are set by the government. To blame the employee for the employer is in poor taste. This location is in a strip mall, and shares parking. There are always a few spots available. The lobby is always open for PO Box holders to come retrieve mail. I like how there are special keyed boxes to get packages when the actual office is closed. I am glad to have my PO Box here, even though my home is right between two post offices. My reason for a PO Box is because there is no way to securely receive packages at my house and I doubt my neighbors not to steal.
