This post office is never open. Please bring the older gentleman back--he was the best and always punctual. Service was reliable when he was here. Now it feels like the window is always closed. Honestly, it seems like the shade gets pulled down just so someone can sleep back there. read more

I can't remember ever visiting a Post Office where the employees were outright rude and indifferent. The man working here seems to forget that he is a Federal employee. You might have thought he was busy. I think I woke him. read more

If you want to get your passport photo taken, make an appointment on USPS online and then CALL the post office directly at 215-884-6078 option 0 to talk to someone on the day of and confirm that they have someone on site to take your picture. Apparently there is poor communication between the USPS online site and the local POs, so they don't always know that you're coming. Once the person was on site to take my photo, things went swimmingly, and everyone was very nice and helpful. I was there first thing on a Monday morning and there were a few people coming in, but never a real line. The postmaster took my photo and the desk clerk was friendly in helping me send in my passport application via certified mail (they don't process passports there, just do the photos). If you wind up needing to kill time, there is a coffee shop a block down the street at the light. Note: Parking is on site and free here, but not super plentiful (maybe 5 spaces?). read more

I tried to ship masks to friends and family and a postal worker and the supervisor were super rude to me because my envelope for first class wasn't up to their standards.. fine! however the young lady behind the counter said (assumed) since I'm selling masks I should have money to "purchase" an envelope. fyi.. I was reusing old envelopes which the address was perfectly clear and taped up properly.. because I am sending masks out to people free of charge. I left that post office and went to glenside.. they were absolutely lovely and shipped my packages as is! read more

For a while it looked like we might get some good service from this PO. We had a young man who seemed to take his job seriously. More recently the woman talking on the phone all the time is back! Mail arrives wet and delivery times are inconsistent. Today we found some of our mail on the sidewalk near the street! Evidently, the management at this facility just doesn't care. read more

Rude post office worker! Won't go to this location anymore! Will go to Glenside or the fairway. I am new to packages and sending things through the mail. This man(wish I remembered his name) but works there all the time. Twice I have gone in and the attitude I get because not knowing something right away. You would think they would be helpful and have customer service skills. read more

I've been coming to this post office from where the 20 years. The last several visits have been gradually improved. Today the staff went above and beyond to help me find a less expensive way to mail a parcel. read more

The Female with the green contact lenses is the grouchiest person I ever met. My package needed a little tape and she told me " you need to buy tape ". The UPS store has the best customer service. They always are happy to see me and very helpful. read more

Worst post office ever! In December 2019, the USPS supervisor Vallerie at the USPS office located on 601 West Avenue, Jenkintown, PA 19046 got into a disagreement with the manager of the condo complex that I live in. As a result, Supervisor Vallerie instructed all postal carriers NOT TO DELIVER ANY PACKAGES TO THE CONDO COMPLEX WHERE WE LIVE! I learned that because suddenly I stopped receiving packages so I spoke to one of the carriers. They told me they were instructed by supervisor Vallerie not to deliver any packages to the Condominium complex whatsoever. There are 166 units here with many seniors who do not drive who rely on the USPS to deliver their medications. We live in Wyncote and why are we not dealing with the Wyncote Post office? Why are we stuck with having to deal with this rotten Post office and management team in Jenkintown? I have lived here for over 20 years and never had a problem with the USPS until now. I have lost so many packages due to the repeated refusal of this post office to deliver them. This USPS office on West Avenue in Jenkintown is the worst agency to deal with and I hope that they run out of money and get shut down. FedEx and UPS deliveries are much more reliable and they do their job without trying to spite an entire community. What you are doing to myself and all of the other residents living here is just plain rotten. I hope that someone higher up at the USPS reads this review and does something about it because its the only hope that we hace! read more
