One clerk on duty. Waited 17mins while that clerk processed a passport. This is suppose to be the area's main post office. Having 1 clerk while 7 of us waited us unacceptable. read more

post office lost two of my packages and I went to the office to talk and see if they could look for it the lady marry was very unkind and dismissive and had me leave my name and number on a paper saying she would get back to me tomorrow or the next day because she had to get the line down the same line I waited in people never seem to ana me and still waiting on them packages just saying good luck with this offic! read more

Not sure why this post office has such critical reviews, the staff helped me with my passport and made that a wonderful experience. On top of that I see them every few weeks sometimes multiple times per week to ship my small business orders. They are so amiable and kind which can be difficult when dealing with customers all day. I am super grateful for them and can't wait to come back with another pink poly mailer! read more

This staff needs reorganization. Spoke with Stephanie from this office location. She shows no empathy towards lost packages and does not help one bit. She has an attitude problem and will hang up on you. Make sure you ask for the postmaster first if you get her. She provides no help. read more

I have had to call several times to find out why we are not getting our mail in Linville, VA. They lie to me and tell me the drivers are out delivering and we do not get our mail. They also tell me that they are short drivers, so basically, if they have more mail in a zip code area....they get their mail. Ours is left behind for another day. Robert is the worst to talk to, he continues to lie to customers. I am not the only one who calls and complains. read more

Since our wonderful mail lady, Jwithenny, retired we have had problems with the new carrier. The latest is 2 voter registration form to Rockingham County that have not been picked up all week. We have not received any mail this week although our neighbors have. This is not legal and we will pursue this with Senator Warner. Howard & Donna read more

The absolute worst! They lie and say that they either delivered or attempted to deliver packages. I was at home waiting on a very important package and the postal worker indicated that we were not home and told this to Amazon. When I asked for redelivery, the postal worker said the package was heavy and I needed to pick it up. then when I tried to pick it up the location was closed. read more

The absolute worst experienced I've had with the post office in my life. Apparently I had a package delivered to my mailbox, when I go check nothing their. I called and stated my package wasn't their....spoke with a Stephanie. By far the rudest and unprofessional agent I've spoken with. No help from her spoke to me like I was stupid and ignorant which was the other way around. This post office has lack of customer service and work ethic. No one answers the phone- it's completely automated and it doesn't even have an option to speak to a worker! Are you kidding me? I came to pick up my package because it was too oversized to be left at my home and went back and forth with the lady at the register because she swore the package was not there, after multiple trips to the back she found it and her tone of voice changed from "I know it's not here" to a more apologetic tone. Regardless, I got my package but I hope I never have to step foot in here again read more

This Post office is without a doubt has the most unreliable, inconsistent, untrustworthy group of staff and management personnel I have ever come across in all of the Post Offices that I have ever been to in my life. The carrier must be an imbecile who contantly and insistently leaves my packages outside my front door despite my posting a large sign on my front door NOT to do so because it will be stolen. And when you go to the Post office to look for your package you will be given a million excuses on why your package is lost. Absolutely the worse group of people you'll ever want to speak to. It is incomprehensable that these people are actually getting paid good money by taxpayers to do unacceptably the most horrible job and to top it off these people are suppossed to be on the top level of the apptitude and intelligence test that is administered to them prior to being hired. Such low standards of job performance most probably starting from the top of the management chain. Absolutely DISGUSTING. They have lost 6 of my packages since Sept. of 2017 and counting. All reported to them. No results whatsoever, not even an update phone call to lie to you or whatever. Put yourself in my shoes, would you not feel the same way?? Absolutely disgusting. What a waste of federal money we taxpayers are throwing at these people. If your business involves the USPS to deliver your product to your customer you may want to think 3 times before doing it. I LOVE the the Harrisonburg USPS! The front desk ladies are always so welcoming and informative. The Staunton USPS ladies seem as if they hate their jobs and don't care about you at all. This is the worst post office/post service i have ever encountered. Out of the last 7 packages I've had delivered 6/8 were scanned incorrectly or not scanned at all so i never knew where my package was, 7/8 were always delivered later than they were supposed to, sometimes weeks. I also had one never arrive. If you call this post office to speak with someone you will wait on the phone until you give up. No one will answer you unless there is one specific lady working but she won't always be able to help you. Our mailman has on more than one occasion altogether skipped my house saying i had no mail and when i caught up to him and prodded him to search his truck a little more he would end up finding it. I'm currently waiting on an express package i was supposed to receive last Friday. USPS is not reliable AT ALL and i will never be using my money and time to support their organization. read more

Our delivery route has changed 3 times since moving to our location. It's now to the point where our mail doesn't get delivered until 6 p.m or NOT AT ALL! It's such an inconvenience to see my packages are supposed to be delivered (shows they are through the Usps dashboard where they scan the packages) and I never get them- and please note that when I say packages, I am talking about ALL of my mail in general. So now I'll have to wait until Monday to go pick up my packages, and who knows when I'll get my mail. read more
