Good & Bad: First, the good: counter service is consistently great. No when in particular stands out because all of their help as alert, thorough and tries to get that lying down. The bad: Our new is mail carrier these past. Couple of weeks is horrible. We live near Irwin & Douty, and four times in the last week we've received other peoples mail and we found what looked like a birthday card for a neighbor on Douty in the middle of the street...on Irwin. We tried to get his attention, but he was listening to his gf/wife or somebody on a speaker phone (?) and we now hear this every day unless it's another sub carrier. He just doesn't pay attention (is this allowable - the phone - speaker thing?). He alo cuts through people's shribbery and leaves the wrong mail in our other neighbors' boxes too. Perhaps it is because he is not concentrating on what he is delivering and instead he's concentrating on the conversation in his ears? Also, he has not picked up our mail three times in the last two weeks even though our flag has been up. This is getting beyond bad and our complaints are not being heard. read more

So crazy. First thing early morning there's a line, great that's normal for the early birds. The lady who's job it is to help the customers. First Lady we see & doesn't greet the customer she is helping and is already right away with a mad/ angry face right at 8:30 in the morning. Not even 2 customers in she was just helping her first of the day & I can be a witness to this because this is why I am writing the review. I felt so terribly bad for the lady needing her help. Thankfully there were 2 other employees that were working well and reasonably with the customers. So unbelievable. Especially because the majority of customers who come in are elderly & they do not need this type of attitude what so ever. read more

Social Security mail not delivered AGAIN. Texted Gary Chaves about missing mail again. No reply. (Had SS mail not delivered last July and now 2 more pieces of mail December 12th). According to the "Shop" package tracking app, my package has been in Hanford (where I live) for 32 hours now (since yesterday morning very early) and is still not out for delivery. Today is now Saturday so I guess my package will have to wait until next week to be sent out on a route? I wonder why. If I wasn't working 50 minutes away I would just go pick it up since it is in fact in town. Every time I call to inquire I get stuck in an automated loop. Not helpful at all. I can't even reach an employee. Very disappointed. Never had an issue like this before. read more

incompetant driver for delivery,holds packages overnight and if they get here they are late with no explanation why,im elderly and disabled and the drivers only come if they feel like it.i had same trouble in october and december.very poor incompetant service. read more

Not my usual mailman.. but the substitute for him couldn't get out his mail truck and ran over my trash can just to be able to pull up next to the mailbox even though the trash can wasn't in front of it. Love this post office! It's not the location, or how it looks, the workers are Awesome here. I see them once a week, sometimes twice. I have a small business, and even though I have a printer and labels and a shipping scale, I prefer coming here. Carol and Sheldon are my faves! But I like them all :) They are all very fast as well, maybe because it's a routine but they have everything down pretty well. I don't think they do passports anymore. Be careful of the drunk guy in the wheel chair that just loiter around the post office, he yelled at me for not giving him change and he even called me a liar, that part was slightly true because I did have change and told him I didn't lol. The mailbox center in my neighborhood was vandalized. I was informed by a neighbor that the postal carrier indicated that mail would not be delivered until the box is repaired and that we should go to the post office to retrieve our mail. That was two weeks ago, but I happened to stop the mail truck and inquire, the carrier indicated the same but also added it probably will not be repaired for a long time. This is unacceptable not be informed by USPS and also due to my working schedule , I am unable to go pick up my mail at the post office. I had a medication picked up by the post office on the 16th, today is the 23rd and they still have not processed it in. They have terrible customer service people working the counters, they act like we are bothering them when we go in there to check on something, they seem to forget that I do not work for them they work for us. The clerks are rude (typical government & state employees who have " I can never be fired ever" self entitled issues) Especially the young male clerk. He calls the numbers to fast not giving the person a chance to reach the counter in time. So now you have 2 people up at the counter in total confusion. Now I know why I use online bill pay and UPS shipping. The take a number idea is good. But the staff are unfriendly and surly. The mail your own package machine in the front lobby is nice to avoid waiting in line. But once when I needed it, it was out of service. Parking is on-street or in a pothole- filled parking area. I will do anything to avoid going there. I shop online at places that offer free shipping to the grandkids just so I don't have to mail off packages. And more than $6 to mail a large envelope? Wow. And oh yes, one day their card payment system was out of order. Who uses cash?? read more

Our cul-de-sac was closed off for a portion of the day for a pavement overlay. The Post Office did not deliver our mail. Apparently it would have taken too much effort to walk the cul-de-sac (9 houses close together) to deliver? The street was accessible again at 3:00 PM - which is about the time our mail is usually delivered. Somehow the UPS and Fed Ex drivers got their deliveries made to our street this same day - so now you know who is dependable and who is not. If it is important - don't use the post office! read more
