She said we had to use our OWN box and when we asked for tape she said "we aren't allowed to give you any". How rude right in town!! After a somewhat lengthy wait until my ticket number was called, I was assisted by a charming, friendly young lady who processed my plates with great efficiency. I was perturbed that my title was taken, but a new NY one will be mailed to me in 6-8 weeks. Sigh. They were printed out right at the Lone Tree DMV. While this process was slightly more complicated than in Colorado, and also backwards to me--registration first, then inspection--it all went smoothly. I definitely prefer Medford to Riverhead, which was noisy, chaotic, and filled with people. This DMV is quite peaceful in comparison. Will be returning for all my DMV needs.

I was told they can turn it around the same day or next morning for an additional cost. I drove directly to them within 15 minutes of that conversation and dropped my dress. That was around 9 am. By 3 pm, my beautiful orange dress was done! It is so neatly pressed and ready to be worn! The service was incredible. She was direct; I was told exactly what to expect and they delivered exactly that. For the additional cost I paid, I was very pleased with it all. The quick turnaround was so appreciated.
