I am losing track of how many times my mail is being put into the wrong box at my apartment complex. It has even been delivered to the wrong apartment complex. Important pieces turn up missing. Please guys pay attention. read more

I went to this post office to get information on why my mail was not delivered yesterday even though it was scanned stating I was going to get it. I was waiting for an appointment letter and when I go up there to ask right away, the lady was very defensive stating that even though it was scanned in and saying, I would receive it yesterday that does not guarantee that I was going to receive it so there's no way of knowing what's going to come in today and I asked if I could let them know so they could be on the lookout for my mail and they said there's no way for them to track anything. The lady was very unhelpful not educated. I feel like she didn't know what she was doing even though I was a very first person in there, trying to figure out where my mail is getting sent to or why I wasn't in my box. read more

I conducted an audit of this post office and saw why this place had a bad rating. Check out my encounter in the link to see my encounter with these uneducated postal workers and supervisors. https://youtu.be/aXW770Rb6MI?si=ksYUHoCx3KGM1Z0b read more

GET A RECEIPT! They steal packages here! Don't just drop your packages off in the dropbox because someone in the back steals them before scanning so you have no proof that you dropped off and won't get insurance/a refund. This has happened to multiple people so don't be the next. read more

Today's delivery is several pieces intended for a different address. I attempted to call the Altamere post office but can't leave a message to report misdelivered mail & ask if they have the new Silverstein forever stamp but the message says " enter your remote access code." No other options. Maybe yelp has the employee line listed. If so, postmaster, please correct this. What is supposed to happen with misdelivered mail? read more

Some more polite, seems to pressure people to get o thing done fast, don't really like to help with tagging, or atleast giving some kind of suggestion read more

Amanda was so very polite to every customer as I waited and was very helpful in helping me getting all my important paperwork sent out!

I've been going here for years. The attendants are always busy, but cordial. This morning I beat the rush and was helped by Joseph. While he was still quick and efficient, after a short exchange, I was blessed to learn what a fine gentleman he is. Unfortunate for the public that the government understaffs them hence, we don't get to share a deeper human existence with them. read more

I've been here for a month and still haven't received my mailbox number. The lady at the counter gave me a key and said I would be contacted and I have yet to receive a call with an update. I also call the office every other day and never get an answer. read more

If I could give the post office no stars I would. I never had a problem with the post office till I moved to my new house. I have been receiving mail for the other resident that lived there before me and in my contract it states any mail that is address to them please send it back. So, needless to say I have been doing so. The mail carrier didn't like that I put RTS does not live here anymore. The informed me that I need to stop writing on the mail that it is a Federal Offense. So I stop just to not have any problems. The mail carrier still takes what they want. Last night i receive a big promotional book address to the old tenant. I noticed a big circle with a note from the mail carrier stating "Read you are current." The current resident is in a very odd place but needless to say it still has the old resident's name on there. I am not sure if the mail carrier knows the previous owner or what, but this very unprofessional and disrespectful. If they are getting away with this due to people not standing up to them. If I am having issues how many more people are they doing it to that can't say anything? read more

I hate this place so much. I've never had such bad experience with a post office until i moved on this side of town ! My mail is always delivered late .Please do a better job. I've been living in this adress for a year already and it seems to get worse day by day. read more

We have had mail tampering and mail theft through this branch. Mailman not updating informed delivery daily digest. On day we had theft, email from them showed no photo of item in mail. Package was cut open and item removed. Received empty package. read more

Hands down the most rude, unfriendly counter clerks you will ever deal with. Go somewhere else to mail your items. Every few months I go back in hopes things are different because the location is so close to me. But nope, always rude, always unprofessional. I drive miles away to use a different post office. Unbelievable...smh read more

I usually don't have any issues with this location but today was an exception. Two if the rudest, non-helping postal workers I have ever come across! read more

I haven't been to a post office in ages so I had no idea what to do in order to ship a gift to someone. Luckily I brought my mom with me....but she didn't know what to do either. We spent a good 10 minutes trying to find a box to put the gift in because the box I had brought said vodka on the front ( there use to be vodka bottles in it) and apparently they can't ship boxes that have to do with alcohol. But the lady who worked there was so patient with my frazzled mom and I because we were seriously being THOSE people. You know..those type of people who make simple things difficult. I wish I could remember her name because she was so helpful and usually the people who work at the post office are rude! read more

I moved and now require a mailbox with a post office lock and key. The order was put in a week ago and I have mail I can't get to open. The 800 number gives no assistance to speaking with a real person and no choices for the issue and the actual phone number to the post office is off the hook or disconnected. When I went up to the post office there was a pile of locks and no one knew who was in charge of installing or how to help me in the least. It's times like this I understand why fedex and ups kicks usps ass with packages read more

The most inneficient place ever!! There's always a long line in peak hours ... but ... only one person working. Non peak hours ... 2 or 3 working and nobody in line. I really don't know if they do it on purpose, but from the "I don't care attitude" it seems like a yes, they do it on purpose. I have witnessed this mess many, many times and a manager is never around, never seen trying to solve anything or at least witness to later improve. read more

Where do I start? When they gave my mail away to someone who went into my box and got the notice of a package and then, without any I D, gave it to him. It was a book. How about now, my mailbox was run over and was in my yard. I put the post back up, but my box is still broken. One mailman saw it broken, put it up by my gate, and was delivering mail. I was told to fill out a form for them to hold my mail, but depending on what day, it wouldn't be held. Now, they are putting my mail in the neighbors box. I have been waiting since last Thursday for some boots and they still aren't here, and no more in my box to come get them at the post office. I am so irritated! read more

I'd give this post office a zero if I could. I was having problems with my ebay packages being picked up at my house. They were not being shipped out the same day so I was penalized by ebay due to my Top Seller requirements. I spoke with my carrier and was told sometimes they don't get back in time to send them out same day. What??? So I spoke with Roy Russell, Manager, Customer Service there. He flat out lied to me saying yes they do get out same day when in fact I have proof of many times they didn't. So now I have to drive there, stand in line (today took 25 minutes and only one person was working) just so I can obtain a receipt for proof to make sure my packages get out same day. I've been to many post offices and this is the worst. They never smile and are rude. When I stand in line everyone complains to me while waiting. I've been a supervisor in corporate customer service most of my life and I would fire every one of them if I could. They ought to be ashamed of themselves and should not be in customer service of any sort. Shame on the government to let these employees remain at the 3701 Altamesa Blvd post office! read more

This location has been under construction , renovation, since about Sept 2016 , now it is July 5, 2017. The scope of work is not much as they are redoing the walk way and landing. In a private sector job it would take one month, not 9 months and counting. This is a clearly and example of how federal govnt. cannot do anything correctly of timely. I wander who is get a financial kick on this an when it will be completed. read more
