I decided to stop here really early in the morning since I stayed in the area overnight due to my…read moretravels. I will say that if you can get up early to see the sun rise up over the dam, it really is beautiful. Then drive up the hill to Grand Coulee to start your day and check your mail. This office is right across from the Safeway and there is parking on the street and not a lot of it though. This seems to be a somewhat small town so they probably don't need that much parking anyway. The post office boxes are old looking and the general office and service counter look like they need some updating, but again this is a small town with people who have probably lived here their whole life so a change may not be needed or in store for quite some time. Overall it's a nice office and the outer structure and rock work is cool and well kept too. I got here on a Sunday really early in the morning so I can't comment on the workers.

She also has been there long enough to learn the basics such as limits of content insurance coverage. But twice I had asked that question and was met with a blank stare. She had to ask a co-worker. 2. Why does Chelan, WA 98816 have no drive-by box to drop off outgoing mail? Nor does the Chelan, WA 98816 USPS have any ADA/handicapped parking spots! I am disabled. It is a major chore to find any spot, let alone a handicap parking spot. Come on USPS! You charge us tons to mail 1 letter. How about making access to a drop-off box and ADA parking spots @ the existing post office on Johnson Avenue, Chelan, WA 98816 ? Thank you

It all started when I had to return a shirt. Priced the return in my FedEx account and it was just…read moreunder$10 for FedEx Ground. Just for fun, I pulled up USPS.com to see what it would cost. $5.25 for 2-day insured, alerts and trackable - and they even provide a free small box to send it in. Took just a few minutes to register an account and print my pre-paid label. I give their web site 5-stars - you can do just about everything here. Then I took my return item and prepaid label down to our Chelan Post Office. Even though the shipping box would be free, I was told to bring my own strapping tape, because they sell that. When I got to the office, the postmaster saw me waiting, opened another window. He took my label, folded together the flat cardboard box, inserted my return stuff, sealed the box, and even offered to attach the label for me. This is the Post Office- folks. 5-stars for the web site. 5 stars for customer service at Chelan P.O. Maybe there is hope for USPS after all - this is a Big Step in the right direction. Well done at every level

This office is right off the main street. Odessa has a really small farm town feel. I didn't even…read moreknow if I was supposed to park parallel to the curb or straight in or angled since the main street is huge and doesn't have any lines. This post office is right across the street from the drive-in burger joint. The people here are really really really genuine and nice and kind of move at their own pace but it's nice compared to the pace of the bigger cities.

Hit or miss... either a line out the door or the place is empty. The plus... they have an automated machine in the lobby so you rarely have to go to the counter.

I love not having to parallel park or hike around the corner. The staff is the same, and it is still the USPS, but the ease of use is greatly improved.
