I end up with keys to parcel boxes and no package in the mailbox, notifications that it's delivered when it's not, or other people's packages instead of my own. And if you call to complain they make the excuse that "addresses are so similar in these neighborhoods" but isn't that the case literally everywhere else too? Every once in a while an issue like this wouldn't be too bad, it happens. But it's literally the third week in a row I'm missing a package. Figure it out.

most post office workers are kind or at the very least polite. but the bald guy with a red beard…read more(maybe 40s) who worked on 4/8 at around 3:30 pm was so incredibly rude. he was snappy and all around a jerk. from the moment he began "helping" he was unkind. I had asked to mail something and he immediately began snapping at me telling me I needed to tape my label. I had mentioned that I wanted to make sure that it was labeled properly because it had been incorrectly labeled the last time by the post office and I was now re-sending it and he became very accusatory stating that i was the one who had the label and he wasn't adding another label to it. he kept interrupting me and just being rude. when I had asked if they had tape I could use he continued snapping at me telling me "I'd have to purchase some." and "that's why he told me to tape it on." it actually took another customer stepping in and being nice to me for him to suddenly change his tone. even if everything he said was correct he was so nasty while doing it. perhaps he should find a job that doesn't require him to work with the general public and actually treat people with human decency. ‍

Had to wait in line for a long time to get terse interaction with a surly woman who seemed very unengaged when she took my order. In the meantime it took forever for my order to arrive having ended up in seattle instead of the east coast by mistake. While the 40 something cent letter seemed like a really good deal, the other items seemed really expensive, and the prices seemed not to make sense at all. I paid about 13 dollars and it ended up being only a tiny 2 ounce widget to send to England. The staff bringing the orders out to the houses seems great, it is mainly the people who take your orders who seem to think that you are a major annoyance.

I'm so proud of myself for driving up to Anatone. Honestly, I think I am becoming slightly afraid…read moreof heights as I get older because as I traveled up to Anatone I got a little uneasy. It's just when I can't see the horizon and you come over a ridge and it looks like you're going to drive off a cliff. Needless to say when you get to Anatone, it feels like you're on top of the world. It is super major windy up there too, which seriously didn't help my "problem". This little post office fits the needs of the little farm town. Lovely scenery around, very safe. If you don't get depth perception fits, enjoy the scenery as you drive up and then down the mountain to get to Anatone.
