My niece suggested that I get stamps from Costco, but they don't sell POSTCARD stamps. Yup. This post office was really close to Costco anyway, so it wasn't out of our way! Plus, the service was SUPER helpful! The kind, friendly woman was very personable and asked where we were from. She gave me tips on where to eat nearby and where to go for a good view of the city and the Space Needle. She was sharp because she looked at my postcards, knew that I was a tourist and tried to help me find beautiful views of Seattle like those on the postcards! She went over and beyond! She asked of i needed more than ten stamps - because they are "Forever" stamps and the price will be the same now and forever... She's correct. I purchased 20 stamps... LOL! I saw the driver drive by my house twice and did not stop instead they left a slip in my mailbox stating it was the first attempt and to pick up at the post office instead. It is now almost October, and we have had to pay $165 for the application, $80 to expedite, $40 worth of expedited mailing documents ($285) total for the passport that should have arrived by now for $165 if applied for properly by this post office. We leave in a little over two weeks, we have no idea if we are going to get it in time. ALL of this was preventable if the lady did the job she IS BEING PAID to do, correctly. I'd be happy to take this down if they do the right thing and make an effort to at least provide a partial reimbursement for the mistakes made on their end.

The lady that works there is great - does her job and is kind of a no BS kind of lady =) As I wish all postal workers were at all places - have your stuff ready when you get there! The building is kind of hidden by trees from the main road, but easily accessible right across from the BBQ joint. Side note - their last truck leaves late, so if you have Express shipping items it might take a day longer to get to it's destination!
