I go out of my way to fill up at this specific gas station- it's not the lowest price in town (as advertised), but they are consistently lower than anywhere else on the West side without requiring me to hit up an ATM for cash. Interior is small, selection is limited- grab a coffee at Desert Wind in the same plaza instead of the burned-tasting sludge I had here recently. Service is friendly, lot is always clean. read more

Gas is gas. This location tends to have cheaper prices, even compared to Arco and Costco. I wouldn't use it on my personal vehicle but I did for my rental. Easy to get in and out of off the strip. I wouldn't go out of my way to get here though. Don't spend a gallon of gas to save 10 cents! read more

I was walking in this store minding my business when this random ass kid came up to me asking me questions about white owls. He tried to get me to purchase him a owl and tried to give me money. I did NOT ACCEPT at all. The door was also open during some of our conversation and I'm pretty sure I used a hand gesture to say no to the cash he attempted to give me. I even rolled my eyes when I fully entered the store being annoyed from the kid bothering me outside. Because I hate when people try to talk to me when I clearly have headphones on. The cashier watched me walk around the store, okay it's not my first time being watched in a store being black. However when I tried to purchase my items which included a mini bottle of wine she refused to let me purchase my own swisher (not a white owl) saying I was buying it for the boy. I explained to her that I did not accept his offer nor money, she said she watched the conversation on camera and I said okay so you saw me decline his money. Now I will say it does look suspicious, and I understand she was attempting to do her job however if someone does not accept money from another person I don't see how it could be considered a transaction. Also why would I buy something for some kid I don't even know with my own money?? I don't care how much it is. I don't have kids therefore that child is not my responsibility. I also find it funny that she wouldn't let me purchase a tobacco item because supposedly it's for the kid but felt comfortable enough selling me a bottle of wine? That I could have also been "giving" to him. Make it make sense. Anyway I hope she has a better day for the rest of her shift. read more

Don't interrupt the manager/cashier who is talking to her family on the phone behind the counter. Don't ask the manager her name so you can call the corporate office 702-522-8513 to report anything unusual. And don't call Val the district manager or he will hang up on you after telling you he doesn't want you as a customer. And if you find the Nationwide Corporate number leave it here so we can ALL call them and tell them that normal everyday people just aren't welcome at their gas and convenience stores. We have been to the two local US Gas stations. One on Buffalo & Sahara and the other at Durango & Twain. None of the pumps display NV state calibratation decals at both locations. The pumps were replaced at these two locations a few months ago. The old pumps did not display stickers either. I have contacted the state dept of weights & measures but have not heard back. I'm guessing that it's an oversight but ARCO, Chevron and Shell stations display calibration stickers on each pump. Buyer Beware read more

Do you love trash mumble rap? Do you hate being treated with any sign of good customer service? Have you always wanted to visit an inner city but never had a chance? Come on down to US Gas before the 8 am shift change M-F. The cashier mentioned in just a few other reviews is a gem who will give you everything you desire. Every other word out her mouth is F*ck. You tell her a card reader on a pump isn't working and she not so politely tells you you're wrong, because you didn't just experience it not working. I personally can't think of a better way to start my day. If you can get in and get out without having to brave the ghetto that is their convenience store then your wallet will thank you as the price has never been above the Chevron across the street(hence the 2 stars). But when they go for quantity over quality you have to deal with garbage people like her when their card readers o so frequently are out of order. read more

The customer service here is horrible african-American girl is the worst! she works late shifts usually and she is always very rude! she throws the pan on the counter in order for me to sign the receipt every single time! she pretends like she cannot hear me while I'm talking to her, this African-American girl does not make you feel welcome there at all, I am there to spend money and get gas instead I do have an impression like she hates her job and she hates people, something needs to be done ,there's a lot of people out there who is very nice and enthusiastic and do love people and would love to have job like that or just the job! be aware she will give you attitude and might throw a pan on the counter very aggressively! she is super rude ,aggressive and not helpful at all. Wow. The middle aged black lady with the bad weave is the rudest person I have ever encountered. She obviously does not want to work there. She refused to let me pay with a $50 because she said she didn't have enough change. That makes no sense for a place that takes cash to get the discount. The sister that owns this fairly fast growing gas station had a great product, decent customer service, listened to customers concerns and even requests to carry certain cigarette and soda brands like coke zero not just diet coke and had low gas prices. They offered credit or cash sales with no increase for credit cards. I was happy to see them come to town. I teach business classes at csn so I look for these things and we talk about local businesses in class. These stations advertised lowest gas prices, that's not the case anymore, to use a credit/debit/cash card, there is a 6 cent increase per gallon. Customer courtesy by staff is consistently terrible by 90% of staff at all locations, including the owner. Prices on store items are not even labeled. U have to take item to register to scan to get price. An inconvenience for staff and customers alike. The owner doest seem to care about customer comments at all. If u are lucky, u may receive a disgusted sigh. A particular African-American lady who rotates stores is the worst person to be working with customers and the Caucasian lady at the Durango location who is the owner is even worse. Owners/managers/leaders set the tone for a business. Any improvement can only be modeled from the top down. There is a dark and flat mood in these locations but generally are very clean locations. They have given away their competitive advantage and have quickly eroded their higher status in this industry to one of this city's worst in my opinion. I'd rather give my business to am/pm or comparable gas station, at least i know i will more likely than not have a better customer experience than this once up and coming business. I can't imagine any business doing so well that they can afford to give or lose their current customer base to a competitor. Very unfortunate but then again, I care more about this business than the owner does. Thanks for reading. read more

Gas prices are decent, but not the lowest as advertised. They don't take manufacturers cigarette coupons, carry Rock Star drinks or have many diet soft drink options; but hey, they're still new. They may improve. It's no skin off my nose either way. There's plenty of gas options within a mile radius. read more

I love this place. I know its just a corner store but it is the best gas experience possible. I walk in and the employees greet me with a smile and actually engage the customer. They make it a more enjoyable experience. They don't have a liquor license yet but I've been told they're working on it. The prices are low and good quality. I like that its local. Its always clean and the window wash station is awesome. It has adjustable handles for people who can reach across. All around this place is worth going to if your in the neighborhood. read more

This was by far my worst experience ever trying to get gas. I paid cash for some gas and when I went to pump the lever didnt work. So when I went to the cashier to kindly ask if I can try the other pump she must've thought I was crazy and said no it should be working. Like I don't know how to pump gas when I've been doing it for over 10 years now. I went back another time and she got all defensive with me and said it was because I was trying to soon because she was resetting it even though it was telling me on the screen to start pumping. So the third interaction I finally just asked for a refund because I was going to be late for work. I've never been treated with such poor customer service in my life and whoever was working needs to be fired. It was at about 5:45 am on a Friday. Like they ruined my morning enough to have to sit down and write this review. You have to really piss me off to get me on this app. read more

So if you want an average priced gas station with ghetto service then you found your spot.
