I came here for an interview for the Global Entry program. My appointment was at 9:15 and i waited in the parking lot as I knew I wouldn't be able to enter the building until I am summoned. I got a phone call at 9:15 from the officer inside. He asked me if I was available so I entered the building. The interview was in a small office, I stood there, answered basics questions and took a photo and finger prints. The whole process took 5 minutes. The officer was very informative and efficient. My application was approved sooner after I left. I actually did not expect things would go as smooth as this so I was happily surprised! read more

Have had friends go through this who said that it was easy and no big deal. You fill out a questionnaire and give them $100 and they make you come in and get fingerprinted and take your picture. No big deal. EXCEPT that in the Dayton, Ohio office the guy kept asking me the EXACT same questions that were on my application. Then he asked me where I worked. I was unemployed when I filled out the questionnaire. I wish I had just told him I was still unemployed. He made a GIGANTIC deal out of it because I am a contractor for a company and was looking up the office on my phone. He told me I was just giving him information to get through it and was not telling the truth. He told me I was LYING and he would have to send an email to me and I will have to fill out the address with the HOME OFFICE of the company that I am working for as a contractor. I told him I have the exact same information there in the Border Patrol office that I am going to have at home - when I receive the email - so I could give him the information. HE REFUSED AND SAID HE WILL SEND ME AN EMAIL SO I CAN LOOK IT UP AND GIVE HIM THE INFORMATION. What kind of a demented human doesn't know that this is 2020 - NOT 1980. I had the information RIGHT THERE to give to him. He kept asking me questions that were already answered in the LENGTHY questionnaire. What I think is the worst thing about this is that he is an older man and gives the impression to everyone that anyone over the age of 50 is too stupid to look up any information on a phone and no on over 50 knows anything about technology. It was embarrassing and awful. He was AWFUL. I know there are several people who work there and one guy was nice, it is just this doofus who is horrible. So try to get the bald guy and not the older fat guy, who is not bald. He is terrible. Took 5x longer than it should. He is one of those kinds of people that think if they have control over someone for 30 min they can ask whatever they like and be completely creepy. read more
