Man, this place is pretty nice. There are plenty of different spots to hole up and spend a few hours which is awesome. They have free covered parking underground. But, the types of people loitering around and amount of security has me second guessing. The constant feel of needing to double check my belongings, as well as the police presence makes me think I should spend my time elsewhere.

Came in the other day to get some work done and I really love the space. All the tables were clean and it was a beautiful space to work. They also have a parking garage so you don't have to fight for downtown parking. Just make sure if you park in the garage that you keep to the left (oops). There is also a Coffee Hub inside the library that makes a real good breakfast sando and has some excellent people working there. The coffee was also steller and I would absolutely recommend this library to anyone looking for a quiet place to read or work. Support our local libraries! I cannot say it enough!!

What a wonderful library! Very clean, renovated and new. Excellent selection, and super nice librarian staff. Highly recommend the Berry Quiet Room on floor 2 for any studying.

What a beautiful new library with so many wonderful spaces the community can utilize. I love the floor to ceiling windows, the huge middle staircase, the chairs scattered about the floors to cozy into with a book, and the vast materials available to read. I started coming to this location weekly for a class and really enjoy it. It's just beautiful and I always find parking for free which is an added bonus. I noticed the community rooms are usually a buzz with groups and love it's an active library. I appreciate the variety of classes they offer and look forward to attending some more. I have never been alarmed or felt the need for protection but security is enforced and quite visible on my visits there. Be sure to check out the art on the walls from local artists and read what inspired them. Enjoy your visit!

Beautiful rebuild! There is parking beneath the building and at least for the time being, it's free. There is a cute outdoor patio on the second floor. It's nice that they have so many security guards and feels safe. I liked that they have so many outlets for laptop and phone chargers. My favorite thing is all the natural light! Beautiful!

Woodbourne Library is one of two branches of the Washington-Centervile Library system, with the…read moreother being the Centerville Library located just 3 miles south from this location. As of this review, it's open from 10am-9pm during the week, 10am-5pm on Saturdays and 1pm-5pm on Sundays. All Dayton Metro Library branches are closed on Sundays, so this is a nice option to have in the area. The most recent renovation and expansion to this facility occurred in 2018, and it remains clean and well-maintained. Reservable spaces include three 'quiet' rooms for up to 4 people, two meeting rooms for 4-6 people, a creative space for up to 20 people, and a large community room for up to 80 people. Of note, the three quiet rooms have a single, small round table, which makes it difficult for more than 2 people to use at the same time. The meeting rooms are located in the middle of the library and lack windows to the outside. Other spaces include a few scattered smaller tables in the front of the library and one 4 person table in the far back corner which is usually highly sought after as it is isolated from the other areas and provides some privacy. In addition, there are four 4-person tables in the middle with outlets, and three 2-person tables adjacent to these, although without outlet access. In another area, they have some other 2-person tables with dividers in the middle thus making them individual spots. There are lots of reading chairs spread throughout. Although this may sound like a lot, the tables (particularly the 4-person ones) fill up rather quickly, so I've always thought they could use a few more. I've also noticed that this library is rather busy most of the time, especially compared to some of the others in the area.

I currently telecommute for work but working at home can be a little isolating. So I go to the library to work in a quiet environment that allows me to focus yet is open and bright(lots of windows). The furniture is comfortable, there is free WiFi, the librarians are pleasant and helpful, and as a town resident I can reserve a meeting room for times that I need to talk on the phone with my co-workers. I know that this is not the traditional use of the library but since we pay taxes to support it, as long as I don't disturb anyone else in the process, I feel perfectly good about it. I wrote my dissertation in a public library years ago and came to appreciate them not only for this sort of thing but as a continuing center of the community. They are a hive of activity that we should maintain. And for me, when I take breaks from work, I enjoy the magazines and books available to me. Support your local library!

Group spaces include two quads with space for up to 4 people, two group rooms for up to 8 people, one conference room for up to 10 people and a community room for up to 45 people. They also have a quiet reading room with two 4-person tables and several reading chairs. My first time visiting I had trouble finding where to park, as there is not a lot attached to the building. The Miamisburg Board of Education building is directly north of the library and has some parking on its' south end, but I wasn't sure if library patrons were allowed to park there. I drove around the block and ended up parking in a street spot on 6th St. Once inside, I learned the lot used for the library is actually across 6th St, just northeast of the library. Although, signs for this would have been helpful. Overall though, another great DML branch!
