Anyway, the other insurance company was USAA and they recommended Auto Pro of Freehold. Now I live nearby and have never even seen this shop but I gave them a try. A very knowledgeable technician inspected my car and gave me a reasonable estimate. Once my claim was approved by other insurance I went ahead with the work at Auto Pro. When the repairs were complete I was beyond happy with the results. The car looks excellent!! Looks like nothing ever happened to it! Thank you Auto Pro of Freehold

I chose to keep my vehicle and take it to another repair shop. However, when I picked it up, my car was severely damaged from the back--parts had been removed and not reinstalled. I asked if they could at least reinstall the lights so I could drive the vehicle safely, and I was told no unless I paid additional fees. I questioned why parts were removed when the insurance had not approved those repairs. It became clear they assumed I would accept the total loss and not question their actions. They removed parts that did not need to be removed and charged the insurance for unnecessary work. This feels extremely dishonest and unprofessional. My vehicle was in great condition before, but after their actions, it was left vandalized and unsafe. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this auto shop and in insurance-based repairs overall.

WARNING: Dishonest Dealership - Stay Far Away from Honda of Staten Island…read more On August 16, 2022, I purchased a 2019 Genesis G70 (VIN: KMTG44LA9KU029847, Stock #KU029847) with 14,511 miles for $36,990. The car was advertised with a clean title and a clean Carfax, with "no accidents reported." The dealership even gave me a clean Carfax , front page clearly showing "no accident reported, Carfax guaranteed." Fast forward almost 3 years and countless issues later, I tried selling the car -- only to be told its value was far below market because of a serious accident history. When I received the real Carfax, I found the truth: The car had major damage to the front, side, rear, and roof. Not a minor accident, but a wreck that destroyed value and safety. The Carfax Honda of Staten Island gave me in 2022 had the first page altered and the middle pages removed -- the exact ones showing this damage. I still have both reports, the fake one they gave me and the real one that proves the fraud. This is outright fraud. They knowingly sold me a car with a falsified Carfax, hid the real history, and passed it off as clean, a direct violation of consumer protection laws. I emailed them multiple times, zero response. No accountability, no effort to resolve. Clearly, this isn't the first time they've pulled this scam. But this time, they picked the wrong person. I've spoken with 2 attorneys and am preparing legal action. I'll also be a filing complaint with the BBB, Honda corporate headquarters, and the District Attorney's office to investigate. If you're considering buying a car here, ask yourself first, Do you want to risk paying top dollar for a car that was wrecked? Do you want to be handed a fake Carfax report while they smile and shake your hand? Do you want years of headaches and a worthless resale value? If your answer is yes, then shop here. Otherwise, save yourself the nightmare and RUN from Honda of Staten Island. There are plenty of honest dealerships out there, this is absolutely not one of them. If you've had a similar experience, leave a comment here so we can connect since I'll be taking legal action.

I called and spoke to Michael. I assumed it was the general manager because that who I had requested to speak with and he proceeded to tell me I can bring the car in and they would provide me a loaner The next day I arrive at the dealership and guess what ....there are 3 Michael's and I'm being questioned which one did I speak with. Now yes ...my fault for not getting his last name but I work in an emergency room so I was a bit busy when I called regarding my car. Regardless I'm sitting at the dealership and I haven't been able to speak with any of the 3 Michael's and the covering manager is saying they do not give out loaners for a screen malfunction even though supposedly it may take days to fix. Excuse me???!?!! The car has 3000 miles on it. It's 3 months old and I'm supposed to leave the car and go pay to rent a car???? What kind of service is this??? I've been driving 35 years and I've never encountered this situation. Are you freaking kidding me?? Now my original salesperson has stepped in and they say they are looking at the car and hopefully they can fix it within an hour. I'll let you know the resolution of this but if this is how they treat customers I want to say stay AWAY from this place. I'll update you once I leave. Ok. They definitely redeemed themselves. Not only Mr Popo who was my salesman but also the general manager Michael. Mr Popo made sure I left with everything working in my car and the manager Michael called to apologize and ensure everything was corrected. Both of these gentlemen cared about my experience and no one could want more than that. They truly went above and beyond and I am grateful. I love my car that I bought from them and the fact they ensured my experience remained positive means a great deal. Mistakes can be made but it's what people do after that that counts. I thank them both sincerely

Doing business the "manfredi way" surely is a horrible way of doing business. I wound up buying my…read more2013 Hyundai accent here, from manfredi, and I got an awesome deal on the car... It was actually an extremely easy buy for manfredi, because I didn't have to test drive the car here ( I test drove it elsewhere already), I had the money to buy the car in full, and lets face it... the car I bought is a Hyundai ACCENT, not even the popular Hyundai model.. no1 buys accents often, so if you have a guy coming in, to buy a car, doesn't need to test drive it, has the money, and is going to buy it from you asap, why not make the sale? why be stubborn and play games? So if I got such a great deal at manfredi, WHY am I giving them 1 star, and calling them HORRIBLE? Here's why: If you see my reviews, I made a review about my horrible experience at plaza Hyundai. I went to Plaza Hyundai 1st, test drove the car there, spent the whole day there, being lied to and jerked around all day until I finally got them to agree to the great deal I wanted on the Hyundai. I had the money to buy the car in full, however I wasted so much time as plaza, that now its closing time for my bank, so how am I going to go get my bank check for the full amount to pay for the car? So I decided, I'll go home, check out another dealership, and if anything come back to plaza with a check and buy the car in full next day. So, me living in staten island, I stopped by manfredi on the way home. I informed them of my experience at plaza, and how I already test drove the car, what plaza offered me, my desire to buy the car and pay for it in full, and I asked them if they can match plaza's offer, I'll buy the car from them, that simple, that easy. quick easy sale. Surprisingly, manfredi was saying yes to everything, and was going to match plaza's unbelievably good deal! They were going to give me the car for a great price, and pay me the same amount for my trade in as plaza was going to! wow, its that easy, manfredi is so nice, why didn't I go to them in the 1st place?? they just say yes to everything. So now Im happy, and agreed to buy the car at manfredi. Except, manfredi knows I want to pay for the car in full. And it's now 6pm, my bank is closed, so I don't have the money on me to buy the car. I can't put it on my credit card lol. So I told them Im going to come back tomorrow morning, 1st thing in the morning, with a bank check, and buy the car... and here's where it starts.. They were demanding I leave a $500 deposit on the car, to show a commitment, that im going to buy the car from them. and they wanted me to sign that im buying the car. They wanted me to use my credit card for the $500 down payment. Now im a fair guy, I can understand if the Hyundai accent was such a popular car, and if it was on their lot and I was asking them to hold it for me, and not sell it to all the people lining up to buy it. If this was the case, I can understand. but its a Hyundai accent lol, no1 buys that car, and its not even on their lot, so they aren't even holding it for me or losing out on selling it to other people. So WHY do I need to leave a deposit? I told them im not doing it, and the manager was extremely rude to me, and he told me if I don't leave a deposit, the deal is off the table, and will be $1000 more tomorrow! Why I asked, im coming in 1st thing in the morning to buy the car, you don't even have it on your lot? so the following morning, I called manfredi, and was ready to buy the car, and the same stubborn manager, told me, if I want the car, its now an extra $1500. The deal we agreed to "expired". You know why manfredi was quick to agree to my deal the previous evening? Because they had no intention of ever giving me the car for that price.. they knew I couldn't get the money because the bank was closed, so they wanted me to leave a deposit so im locked in to buying the car, and then the next day they'd raise the price anyway. I wound up reading a review else where online where they did this same exact thing to some1. So now I call plaza Hyundai, and they tell me, the deal we agreed on the previous day, was still good. So now im about to go all the way back to Brooklyn, to plaza to buy the car. When I decided I'll call the owner, manfredi himself, and tell him how his dealership just lost an EASY sale, because the manager is being so stubborn, and its nothing to me, because im still getting my deal else where. the owner asked me to wait 5 minutes, he then called the dealership and told them to give me the car for the deal we agreed to the previous day. I then went in to manfredi, and bought the car, that they did not want to sell me for that price. With trade in and price, I got the brand new car, for $14,300. Manfredi is horrible to do this to someone.
