I can rely on the owner/head mechanic Mike to fix minor to major problems that I've run into with my vehicles. He will tell you exactly what needs to be done and will tell you if your car is still under the manufacturer's warranty, that it's best to get it replaced at the dealer and not pay out of pocket for it. Note: NJ gas stations have a gas attendant who fills your tank and processes your payment. Despite growing up in Nj, we forgot and self-served! They must see this from time to time and the attendant was cool about it. But keep your hands clean and let them do their job!

I called the local Brooklyn Pep Boys, they said I'd have to come in and get a ticket and then they would see me to get wiper fluid in about 90 min from the time I get the ticket. Am I in an alternative universe?! What is happening? So I just randomly called this Sunoco and a super friendly guy answered the phone. He said "no problem. Come on over," or something like that. I drove there and he freaking greeted me without me getting out of the car. He could obviously tell I was the frantic girl w/ a wiper fluid issue. I don't know squat about cars. I asked if I could see were he pulled the lever to release the hood, and my request for a tiny car maintenance lesson was granted. He put the wiper fluid in; he did it all super quick. The whole thing was beautiful. In & out in less than 5 min and customer service is 100%. THIS is where I'll always stop on my way to Costco now. Kudos!

Pros: someone pumps your gas for you…read more Cheap gas prices surprisingly compared to others. Convenient to belt parkway. Cons: looks shady as all hell. They don't have one of those "bolla market" things to buy a drink or a snack. Got taken over a few months back by Sunoco.
