It's in a warehouse area, and inside you'll find rows and rows of bookshelves, neatly sorted by category. In one corner, there's a cozy area with a couch, a piano, and a guitar. Kids have their own little table and chairs where they can sit and do crafts. There's also local artists selling work in one corner, and you can buy a drink and a snack. It's fun to just walk around and look for interesting old books. I found a jazz standard song book for two dollars. There are beautiful art and craft made from old books. They also sell vinal, DVD, music CD. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is full on Saturdays because so many people spend their afternoon here, relaxing with a book. Educators get 10% off on Saturdays, which was a very kind gesture. Books are the best educational tool, whether they are new or old. This bookstore is truly unique, and I love it!

One clerk in particular I called on the phone and her name is (McKenna) and I told her I wanted the old farmers almanac 2025 box calendar. When I got there, she had three different ones and I picked the one that I wanted. I posted a picture of it. The store is awesome and I always meet interesting people as I just did now, I met an artist that specializes in a number of things, but when I said cats, she gave me her card because she does portraits of pets. I am going to be doing business with her get yourself over the Books A Million, a.k.a. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast).
