Luckily, I had a friend who was a patient at Dr. Wright's office and recommended I call to check them out. I made sure they were covered by my insurance plan first, and made an appointment. The initial appointment is very thorough, I had a pap, ultrasound, ans testing, and bloodwork done. They made sure my insurance covered it all before I stepped through the door. My consult with the nurse practitioner, Yolanda, was nothing short of amazing! She was personable, smart, funny, and really made sure I understood my options. She's been treating me for the past 6 months, and I feel so much better! I am back to my old self, and feel like a veil that I had been living under has been lifted! No more hip pain, my hair loss has stopped, and I feel energetic and can sleep again. The office is very fancy by my standards. You're offered a beverage when you check in, there's a beverage station in the waiting area, and they offer snacks after the blood draws. Everyone that I've encountered at the office has been so pleasant and I am so thankful to have found this practice. It's been life changing, and I am always recommending it to women my age who are feeling the negative effects of aging.

After receiving multiple confirmation texts over the past month, and confirming each, today I received a notification of a bill estimate for my appointment. Today is the 29th. I call them to update my insurance information, as I was recently married. Billing informs me that my appointment was cancelled on the 18th. I'm transferred to scheduling, who tells me it was cancelled on the 20th. My appointment that I made a year ago. My appointment that I make every year, at the very end of the calendar year. They insist that they left a message, which I never received, informing me that a provider I have never heard of is no longer with their location, and that I would need to reschedule, and that the appointment would be cancelled if they didn't hear back from me. This after receiving, literally five hours ago, an estimate of my balance that would be due for the service that was apparently cancelled over a week ago. They cannot book me within the calendar year now. The entire point of scheduling it at this time is for my insurance. I drive an hour to their location when I could go literally anywhere closer. My question is--if the appointment had to be rescheduled regardless, why would they say the appointment was cancelled because I didn't call back (to the voicemail I never received)? If it was simply a provider issue, they didn't inform me the first time they changed my provider for that appointment slot. I have always seen the same provider, and now that provider only works in telehealth. So the provider they replaced her with was done without informing me, and no appointment was cancelled whenever that happened. So why was it cancelled this time, when ostensibly it was the same situation? Why was I told two different dates for when the appointment was supposedly cancelled? Why would I receive a bill today for a service that was cancelled last week? I am beyond frustrated. I was told there was absolutely no way they could honor my original appointment, which again, I made a year ago. I don't know how much money they've made from me over the past four or five years, but I always opted for the additional recommended tests that aren't traditionally covered by insurance. I was prioritizing my health. I've even defended their excessive billing practices to friends I've personally recommended after they ultimately had a poor experience with their office. But I'm telling you now, don't waste your time or your money with the Wright Center. It's simply not worth it. They clearly have no regard for their own commitments.

After being in hold for 10 minutes, being passed around from nurses to repeat myself then had to hang up because they couldn't transfer me back to reception. Best part? When I arrived they didn't take my insurance (even after asking me over the phone what insurance I had). Bottom line, I took the day off work to see a doctor and that never happened. My kids see Dr. Pachon here who we love which is the reason for the two stars. Other than that - the reception staff is incompetent and made making a quick appointment so complicated and annoying.

We have seen her once a year or twice a year for three years for my two son's various flu and other injuries. We are so grateful she is there. Please don't leave, Dr Kelly! If every provider were like her, our medical field would be serving all patients SO well. Here's why: She always thinks of everything without me even asking, from meds, to at home things to do, to a school note, without hesitation. She always makes a little bit of small talk with my sons, but it's like she really cares. Bonus: The place is clean, the front desk staff is friendly, calm and efficient. They smile and are efficient and great with insurance and I haven't ever received a crazy bill from them ever. The wait time has never exceeded 15 minutes. We are out within 45 min including payment and lab tests. I am not getting paid by them to say all this stuff LOL haha! I don't know anyone there either....but I just have to call out this example of urgent care DONE RIGHT. Dr Kara's-Hedrick, DNP, please always continue being the best urgent care provider we've seen! The doctor said I could expect to be back on my feet with 24 hours of the surgery. That was a little misleading. I would definitely recommend this clinic for this procedure. The one tip I'll suggest is to notice that the vasectomy clinic shares space with a weight loss clinic. So it can be hard to identify the office if you don't have the address on hand.

The same doctor did both of my extractions. He did a good job and amazingly painless. I rarely have not even felt the first Novocain injection! Good place. I would have given it 5 stars but there was some early insurance confusion and I also had a full mouth x-ray done even though I just had one the week before at the dentist. I like them though and they are my go to place for surgery or extractions.
