Came her back on November 15th last year for the DH.. I've brought him to all of his appointments. It's always very busy and the staff seem to know the routine. He will have to make a decision later on testing. Dr. Derick Glazier was the attending physician assistant and was professional. read more

Wait time was a bit too long, other than that they do a great job. This is my third time at this place.

I had surgery on June 3, 2025 at Surgery Nevada. Everything went very well until a bill came for my portion of the expenses. I was billed $18.43 which I paid immediately. A month later I received another bill in the amount of $21.37. I contacted the billing department to make sure that they received my $18.43 payment because the new statement I received did not show any account activity. The payment was received but I was told I am being billed $2.94 interest charges by my insurance company. I asked why would the insurance company charge me interest. I was told the person that posted information my account did it incorrectly and that I owed the $2,94. Instead of arguing over a small amount, I told the person I was speaking with that I would no longer have surgery at their location and I would let my physician know about my experience. I do not recommend this business to anyone. read more

The office staff at Urology NV could use some customer service training, however I can't say enough good things about Dr McCormick and his staff. Amazing surgeon and doctor, nurse Tim was a class act, and everyone was so nice and caring. Amazing group of people! read more

I have urinary flow problems due to an enlarged prostate and have been on prescription medication to improve the flow for over 20 years. Urology Nevada's Dr Lamberts recommended a TERP to open up the urinary tract. We proceeded with his recommendation and now almost one year since the operation, I can not be happier with the outcome of this operation. With respect to Urology Nevada as a medical business, I have been extremely satisfied with their handling of the Covid situation and have never had to wait very long after my appointment time before I've been called to be seen. And when Dr Lamberts has been delayed due to extended surgery complications I have always been contacted and informed. I'd recommend Urology Nevada and Dr Lamberts if your looking for a great Urologist. read more

Total crooks. Charged $300 for an apt to recommend "wearing tighter under garments" for concerns. Appointment lasted maybe 5-10 minutes total. Afterwards got an email summary of the visit, and it was all lies. The vitals were incorrect. They put in random height and weight numbers when they didn't even check this during the appointment. Total yikes. People don't go to the dr for fun they go when they're stressed out or worried, maybe do something about it instead of shoe people off with no real recommendations. read more

I recently moved from San Diego to Sparks and brought with me my kidney related problems which were large stones that required surgery. Dr. Z was and is a wonderful doctor who made me feel at ease no matter how many times I saw him. My doctor in San Diego dragged the recovery out so long but when I saw Dr Z in Reno he cleared out all the smaller stones after laser surgery on a very large stone. I'm now clear of stones and it only took him three surgeries to eliminate my stones. The staff was courteous and friendly, never felt nervous due to the professional nature of this office. I'm now stone and stent free thanks to Dr Z and the urology clinic. The front office always answered my questions and were friendly people. With such a large staff you would expect to feel some rancor within the office but the staff all did their jobs and never made me feel uncomfortable. Even had blood drawn at the office with a very amazing plebotomist, never felt the needle. I honestly can't say enough about this experience and that I'm free to get on with my life. Thank you with all my heart Dr Z and all of the staff in both the front offices and the surgery. read more

Wrong Rx sent to the wrong pharmacy. When questioned Doc said, "oh that drug will work too" follow month both Rx's filled at two different pharmacies. When I mentioned this to my doc she said, I've done that, mistakes happen (!) Then, Rx's not refilled, repeatedly declined, no explanation, phones calls not answered, had to go in person to fix and every month the same thing happens. Why decline an Rx? Next appointment scheduled for a year out, yet a one year Rx is declined every month. This place is a huge pain. read more

TL;DR Be ready to fight with the staff as a patient. They are disrespectful. I went in to get a vasectomy. Dr. Suttle preformed the vasectomy and he was an absolute DELIGHT! He was personable, kind, thorough, and most importantly QUICK. The administration staff on the other hand were pleasant before the operation, then, cold and short when I asked for assistance. The medical assistants are either gone or busy. The person that I did speak with was very condescending. Using phrases like "Like I said" or "That's not my problem". When trying to turn in a semen sample to see if the procedure was successful I was met with a staff that turned it into my problem. They send their samples to LabCorp. The staff since my procedure has moved away from LabCorp. I was not notified of this change and this made it substantially harder to turn in a sample and receive results. I had to drive from Red Rock to South Reno 6 times in one week to rectify what the staff at Urology Nevada has tasked me. I explained to them that I do not work there and it is not my job to track this stuff down, that is what I paid them thousands of dollars to do. It has been two weeks and I still do not have a confirmation if my procedure was successful. In conclusion, the Medical staff is a delight, but , be wary of the Medical Administration Staff at Urology Nevada. If the staff is reading this you can see there is a trend in your behavior. Please do better and be kinder to the people that keep you in business. I hope that our paths do not cross again. THANK YOU Dr. Suttle. You are amazing and deserve better admin staff. Just called again and met with nothing but animosity. (12/13/2022 10AM) They have no perspective taking whatsoever for the patient. We are just numbers giving them our money. They are extremely disrespectful, they spoke over me when I was trying to convey my frustrations. I tried to contact an office manager and I was met with an email address. They are running this facility on the admin side extremely poorly. read more

I had prostate surgery in July 2021. Initial care was good, but further follow up care has been neigh on non existent. I'm not getting better I have complained to them via their patient communication portal and nothing. I can't get an appointment earlier than April. They suggest going to urgent care. During a previous problem episode I demanded to talk to the office manager and she expedited an appointment. Needless to say, I do NOT FEEL VALUED AS A PATIENT. read more

The people that work here are all professional and make you feel better about what you are about to go through. They are also all very nice and explain everything to you. 4 days after my procedure, I had a concern, and I called them and within 20 minutes they called me back, listened to my concerns and explained that this was normal and why. Doctor McCormack is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He explained what was going to happen and why. After the procedure he came back and explained what to expect during recovery. read more

No call back after surgery to even see if my husband was doing ok. The girls in the front office are nothing but rude and condescending. The PA gave him a sample of a medication that made his blood pressure rise to dangerous level. He fainted and ended up in the ER with a broken wrist where they told him to never take that drug again. Urologist, Dr Suttle released him after only 2 weeks without even seeing him or following up with him. He was still bleeding and had to urinate every 10-15 minutes, unable to lift anything over 5 lbs. his job is very physically demanding requiring 10-12 miles of walking all day along with bending, lifting and pulling a pallet jack weighing well over 100lbs. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. You can't ever speak to someone on the phone, you have to leave a message and hope they return your call read more

A number of problems with my prostate - difficulty emptying bladder, at same time when need to go I leaked almost every time. Obviously impaired my going out. Meetings, social arrangements, trips to see family! Ugh. How to schedule appointments and keep them? Depends not as useful. Care quality = outstanding! I found out I had warped prostate. What? Dr McCormick was clear, easily understandable. And so easy to work with. Great at explaining procedure and what to expect. The office staff was very good and friendly. The follow up appointment was handled by 2 staff. Wow. Great! And I had a terrible intestinal problem. Overall -- yup, 5 Stars. Oh, and I'm 74. read more

Poorly trained staff sent me for a 2nd CT scan 5 days after already getting a CT (In Jan 2023). When I questioned this I was told that they were ordering one that would be more detailed and be able to get a more accurate size of my kidney stones. After paying $225, when the test was over, the radiologist who had done my prior CT asked why I was back. He informed me I just had the EXACT SAME CT scan that I had a few days earlier. The radiologist stated that unfortunately this happens somewhat frequently. That medical staff doesn't have enough training and understanding of the various CT scans they order. So they give classes to try to help and assist with this. When I tried to contact the office about this my calls were not returned. Staff (PA Roxanne) who sent me to get the 2nd CT scan took NO accountability and lied that she had not seen the previous CT I had brought in my appt with her where she ordered a 2nd CT. Had to go into the office to speak with office manager Sabrina. She stated they probably couldn't refund another facilities co-pay. I stated there were other ways like crediting my account with Urology Nevada. Sabrina stated she would speak with Dr. Hald on how they could handle the situation and get back to me. She never did. When I contacted the office through their "Patient Portal" (which seems the only way to get any reply). It stated that that Sabrina had told me the day I came in to speak with her that they couldn't refund an outside facility co-pay and that I was "fine" with that, and that was the end of it. Another false statement. Here it is Oct 2023 and it has not been resolved. The office has taken no accountability, made no apologies, and I am out $225.00 for their mistake. I wish I had read all these bad reviews before I went there. read more

I was in urgent need of an appointment, but all the decent urologists were booked up. But thanks to all the Yelp reviews, this one had few customers and was available at short notice. This bug is a feature! Somebody in top management made the brilliant strategic decision to post the ridiculous sign about aggressive behavior rather than fix the serious customer service problems (see photo) . Guys, this is a health care facility, not an airline! What about the CEOs whose logos are on the bottom of this highly visible sign? Bet they don't know! read more

Surgery Nevada - Ridiculous Sign - Urologists Near Me - Reno, Nevada

My mother ended up in the ER with renal failure. Her kidneys were shutting down and she needed two surgeries to save her life. Well done, Urology Nevada, you almost killed my mom by ignoring her requests for help for weeks. Luckily, competent nurses and doctors from the hospital have taken over her care and she is recovering. But I would never take a loved one anywhere near this place. read more

Latest visit to this office was back in December, and they finally agreed to just bill my insurance for my visit, then bill me for any difference. I am now much more comfortable seeing my doctor here, and office staff was much more pleasant than my previous visits. read more

I have no idea how this place is in business. My son's appointment has been rescheduled 4 times already this year, and now they tell me I need an ultrasound before his appt. The appt we've been doing annually for the last 3 years is the ultrasound. Now they want us to come two separate times in one week, for an ultrasound and a dr's visit. Fishy! The people who handle the calls are not friendly, and you know the over experience isn't gonna improve once you step inside the clinic. read more

ZERO STARS! is what this place deserves. Incompitant staff for sure. Went in for a check up and had to take a urine sample. I was told ot needed to be sent out for additional testing and would hear back within 3 to 4 days. Never heard back from anyone. Come to find out it was never sent out on time and had expired. Went in to do another urine test. A week later I was told the same thing again. That the urine test had expired. Finally asked to have the lab request just sent to the renown lab and I will go there and take the urine test. THIS PLACE SUCKS. PPL NEED TO DO THEIR JOB CORRECETLY. NO WONDER THERE ARE SO MAYNY BAD REVIEWS! read more

The Office Management is absolutely awful. Their automated phone system is awful. My routine appointment was rescheduled three times. Calling to make an appointment often takes 20-30 minutes waiting on the phone and if your phone drops the call it is another 20-30 minute wait. I found their online patient portal to be useless. Very frustrating. I was pressured by my doctor to have a prostate biopsy that was unnecessary. As a physician I declined the offer. Recently, I attended a small dinner party of 10-12 couples. Two of the husbands recently had prostate biopsies done there. One developed sepsis and another MRSA prostatitis. Both conditions are life threatening. read more

While Dr. McCormack is an excellent physician, he has so overextended his practice that he is unable to care for his patients in a timely manner. Having already rescheduled four cancelled annual visit appointments due to conflicts with Dr. McCormack's schedule, today I called to reschedule his cancelled appointment for the fifth time. No priority was given to try to get him in before February 2023. At this rate the annual visit is, in reality, a two year follow up visit because there is no room left in the doctor's calendar to reschedule appointments in a timely manner. Enough of this disrespect from this physician. Time to find a new doctor. read more

I would give a 0 if I could. Worst medical office & care in Reno & I'm a nurse. Horrible front desk, calls never returned but they swear they called! My brother ended up in ER due their medical staff. No follow up on test results, never see your doc except for 1st visit. They charge you your copay then let a MA do your visit. How is this even legal? Except they are collecting Medicare payments so I guess patients don't matter just money. Stay Away, worst medical treatment I've ever seen & I've seen & worked at medical offices.. read more

This office gives you referrals that are useless because they don't accept your insurance. Also prescriptions you can't fill because your insurance doesn't cover it. I've never had an office not check my insurance before prescribing or sending a referral. Was told I need to search providers and let them know. Not cool. Took two weeks to get an answer in the portal and will take longer now to get into a physical therapist. Train your medical assistants to actually see if the referral or medicine prescribed will be covered. According to them it's not their job. read more

Urology Nevada is one of the WORST centers for care. My boyfriend went in for pain that we thought was a possible hernia. This office used the ultrasound taken from his Urgent Care appointment and gave him some pain pills then said "come back in a month and we will go from there"... A month goes by and he is not any better. He goes in for his apt, pays the copay, and he is told that he needs to "just deal with the pain, there isnt anything more we can do for you." What an absolute DISGRACE of a healthcare operation. This is beyond disappointing. Do better for your community @Urology Nevada. If I could sue them for negligence I absolutely 100% would be meeting with an attorney at this very moment. Who knows, a lawsuit might be in the near future for them if they treat all of their patients with such disinterest. Clearly they do not treat people well considering all of the other reviews. read more

Dr Lamberts is a good doctor and I'm grateful for him. However, he's not in a viable group. The customer service is the Worst. Phone calls disappear into the ethers. The customer service, or front desk, promises to forward on the message, but the doctor never receives any notice. Extremely poor organization and communication! Even messages in my chart go unanswered. There is no way to speak to his assistant or to get help. They are unaware of urine samples dropped off, even though you tell them. You would've died waiting for a response. Extremely frustrating. I've had to call and call to get any notice, and then they don't return your call or let you know if a prescription has been sent to the pharmacy or not. Their office is a black hole. I'm looking for a new doctor and clinic. read more

This place is a complete joke! My wife had a CT scan and cannot get a doctor to call and explain what it means. They were supposed to schedule a MRI but instead scheduled a second CT scan. This place needs to be investigated and shutdown. I have only been to this facility ONE time and I am still getting harassed about a bill payment. The one time I went I had to pay out of pocket and even with my decent insurance I had no deductible whatsoever to use. I remember paying well over $300 for just my first visit! Ever since then I've never been back. My doctor suggested the place again after some complications of my UTI came back and when I cancelled the appointment just knowing it'd be too much they all of a sudden say I owe them money? This place needs an internal investigation their billing department is actually harassing me. I have my phone set to not receive unknown callers and yet that was bypassed when they called me. Please, if any authority is reading this you need to shut that place down immediately. Also the only people who leave good reviews have the money to pay the expenses, don't fall for any 5 star reviews they are clearly biased. read more

Dr. Remy Lamberts performed surgery on my 82 year old father who only has one kidney left. NEVER did he come out to tell me surgery had went well or what to expect afterwards! 72 hours later and a local emergency room visit later, we still cannot get an answer as to what to do. We are currently on our way back to the emergency room with my father and his office still will not call us back. He may be a "good dr" but the rest of the office sucks and it reflects upon him! This is an embarrassing time for my husband and our paper work received prior to appointment was if you are uncomfortable let us know and then we will give you more water. They did not and gave us a hard time. The front office staff are young and have no idea what my husband was going through. Yes it's Christmas Eve, they are working, we are not. Most disorganized, unreliable clinic in Reno. I am Post op cancer 2 + years ago and Urology Nevada still does not send lab test orders, MRI orders, or cat scan orders in time to get them done before my routine follow up appointment with Urology Nevada. All the reviews are correct. TOTAL CROOKS! My husband was quoted a singular amount a half a dozen times for a procedure. We went ahead and scheduled because the cost was lower. More than a week after the appointment we get a phone call demanding that we pay an additional $900. They claim we were emailed and texted about it but we did not receive any such communication. We were immediately threatened to be sent to collections if we did not immediately pay the new cost. Donot go here. They will blind side you with BS "facility fees". read more

Unfortunately, my doctor referred me here with my UTI. The antibiotic my doctor gave me did not work the first time so we did another round and it worked but I already had an apt here. I called to ask questions and they had a medical assistant (a lady) call me back, and it was prompt. She spent time explaining what they would do when I got there to make sure it was gone. A quick scan she said, only a couple minutes. It seemed she was trying to get me in even when I told her it was gone. I asked the front desk to set me up with my husbands doctor and they did. When I arrived it did not take me long to get in. I was not surprised to give a urine sample but of course, the lady on the phone never stated that at all. It was good I drank lots of coffee first. I never got to see the doctor at all even though this was my first and only visit to this practice but instead I saw a Physician Assistant. He came in and told me the sample was clear. When I asked questions he decided it was a good time to put a scare in me explaining that next time I come (6 mos) my urine better be clear or procedures would have to be done. I was just a bit shocked when he told me the procedure and decided right then and there I would not be back. He had no business making me uneasy and scared to return when the infection was gone. It is not his job to put fear into clients but instead to make them at ease. I am not sure how I would go back even if I had to in the future. This whole visit turned me off. I will just check back with my internal medicine doctor in a few months. Not sure if the Medical Doctors are good here because I never even got to meet them. I would have been nice to have him come in and introduce himself to me, just for one minute. I notice Northern Nevada is turning to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. It is getting harder to get a doctor. read more

I brought my dad here to get his TERP procedure done after being in the failed VA system. They promptly scheduled a first time visit and then a follow-up cystoscopy. Post cystoscopy, they have got us scheduled for his TERP procedure and we cannot be happier with the service on the front end and the backend. Folks complaining and leaving 1 star reviews are entitled to do so but at the same time do not realize how good they have it.
