Based on our input he drew up a "low maintenance" plan that we approved. The following Spring, the entire front yard was re-landscaped. New trees and shrubbery were added. Upgrades were made to the irrigation system. They also subcontracted with a concrete curbing firm that provided edge enhancements for the planted areas. Thad helped us pick out slate to accent different areas of the yard. In the backyard, they upgraded the irrigation system, planted shrubbery and had curbing installed. The landscaping received rave reviews by the neighbors. Misty, from Sterling, has led a team out every Spring to clean up, prune and prepare the yard for Spring and Summer. They have done a fantastic job. I wholeheartedly recommend Sterling landscape service. 10/10

In this time they were not responsive or kind on the phone at all, they had never met us so who knows. Flash forward to January we get a call saying they werent paid for the sprinkler blow out, I check all my accounts and they were not paid, but a male employee took my credit card info over the phone in october, and I never heard from them again. Obviously the charge was never sent through. I never received a bill in the mail (although she says shes sending one now, January 2023). But has proceded to treat me with RUDE and unprofessional behavior, for reasons unknown to me. My mail box was full and she went KAREN on me about it. I am not sure who is in charge of your billing system, but please send bills out immediately if they are not paid instead of harassing and berating your customers. Honest mistakes happen, if a bill wasn't paid, that is YOUR responsibility to follow up with it with written documentation, not phone calls demanding payment without context. Please look into this individual, if you are the owner then SHAME ON YOU. I would NEVER recommend this OVERPRICED shotty service. Just called to speak with Dan King, the office assistant sent me to his voicemail and said he probably wont be around for a couple of weeks because he is doing training. To say their work is sub-par is an understatement, and giving them zero stars isn't an option. Plants were planted in areas that weren't appropriate for the plant (e.g. putting a hydrangea by a tree - both take a lot of water) causing them to die. Even when they did warranty work and one of their "supervisors" indicated the plant should have never been planted there, they still didn't fix the problem. As for the sprinklers, they seem to have used as few as they could possibly get away with, resulting in consistently large, brown patches. Even after telling them for months about the issues, they refused to rectify the problems, instead using excuses about the soil, the slope of the drainage (which they created), lack of watering, too much watering, etc. It's apparent I'm going to have to replace the existing sprinklers with more powerful ones and add new ones in order to accommodate the needs of my yard. When our warranty period ended, they didn't hand us off to their maintenance department, as promised, so we didn't have the opportunity to get an agreement in place for them to maintain our yard. Communication with their administrative staff was very terse, and not friendly. I suppose when you're dealing with multiple new construction jobs, warranties, and other landscaping jobs, it's easier to brush off customers than actually engage with them. At the end of the day, I don't recommend them and given there are hundreds of other options here in the valley, surely there's a company willing to provide stellar customer service and quality installation and products.

I authorized them to come into our back yard if necessary to better access them. As they were leaving our back yard via the side gate, my wife heard a bang and an expletive. We didn't think anything of it at the time, but two days later, we discovered parts of the gate broken off and leaning up against the side of the house right next to the gate. I called the property manager to identify the landscaping company and get their phone number. After calling, they sent the workmen back out to investigate. I showed them the damage and they claimed that they found it that way. After a bit of escalation, they told me that their supervisor would call to work it out. For over two weeks, I have not heard anything even after attempting to follow up both directly and through the property manager. 6/13 UPDATE: I received a follow-up call with an apology and commitment to resolve this. The lack of response was due to some unfortunate and understandable circumstances. I will update my review when appropriate.

Grass always looked great and trimming my 200+ plants/bushes/trees on that property was always professionally done. Since have downsized to a smaller house and yard. Tony and crew came out and removed several invasive trees from a small yard and just completed an awesomely cool water feature with original looking plants, sandstone boulders, big slabs of turquoise quarts (I think) and river rock. Pump flow is adjustable from the bubbler rock and secondary hidden outlet and both streams have a couple different little falls that 'fall' perfectly. Wish I had before pictures, completely different feel in the back yard now from stuffy and overgrown to relaxing and calm.

They then proceeded to do work on only a quarter of the property, left early and left before the work could be verified. They then threatened a lien on my property and to return the debris if I did not pay the full bill over the weekend. When asked to finish the job, they ghosted for two weeks. When they did reply to schedule a return visit, they did not bother to check if the date or time would work for me. After renegotiating a reduced price for the work that was completed, they then sent an invoice for more than the agreed upon price. They fabricate sob stories to try and guilt trip you, they're unprofessional, and rude.

I put the word out that I needed someone to replace the valves. Within a day I was contacted by Lucas the owner of 208 Irrigation and Landscape. Even though he was booked out the next week, he scheduled to take care of my issue within a few days. Showed up on a Sunday morning of all days. and within 24 hours had the hole dug out, sprinkler line feed and valves moved to a more reasonable depth at my request and completed. They have damaged our landscaping by improperly cutting coniferous and deciduous trees. They have charged us for services they don't provide. They've dumped lawn clipping in individual homeowner's personal trash cans. They ignore broken sprinklers and change our watering timers without permission. We've paid a lot in water because of that. I could go on, but I think you get the basic idea. I recommend you avoid this company if you want acceptable service, never mind good or great. We had to learn the hard way.
