Her office is thoughtfully laid out, and her office staff are welcoming and friendly. There is plenty of natural light coming through the building and the atmosphere is more like a day spa than a doctor's office. From the moment you walk in, you feel that you are getting top-notch treatment and nobody makes you feel rushed at all. What truly sets this doctor apart from the rest is her willingness to go above and beyond for her patients. When my wife was going through a medical issue, Dr. Fiedler made herself available on a Saturday afternoon off-hours and drove in the pouring rain to open the office just to see her. She spent close to an hour with my wife, and thoroughly examined her, and sent her home with helpful advice and a detailed treatment plan. I can tell that she really loves what she does and it shows in everything she does. Scheduling appointments with her office staff is super easy and she has availability all across the board, making it easy to get in to see her. She even has appointments available on certain Saturdays! What PCP does that? Dr. Fiedler strongly feels that everyone deserves patient and empathetic care, but she probably has no idea just how rare a doctor like her is here in America. She makes you feel like you are getting the kind of personal medical treatment that only the top 0.00001% get because of their deep pockets. Dr. Fiedler is one of a kind, and I would strongly urge you to sign up with her as your PCP before her office is so full that she will not be able to accept new patients. I went out of my way to secure her with my insurance, and it was totally worth the battle. She will be my PCP for life, or for as long as I live in the Bay Area. I also do not mind the 40 minute drive to her office from where I live. I know she has some patients who travel even further than I do to see her. I tried to leave the office but they have a 60 day cancellation policy which means I was stuck with an incompetent doctor and pay my membership dues for the next 2 months. Fast forward 60 days and they're still trying to charge me for an additional 30 days. No response from the doctor. Money money money.. excuses after another. She cannot even get a simple blood work order in correctly. This woman is an awful excuse and shame for any person in medicine.

After multiple medical errors over the years by other doctors, that many doctors refused to properly document, she took the effort to review my records and provide the most accurate medical record that I have had since the first error in 2010- proving to be the most ethical doctor I have ever interacted with. It takes a special person to stand up against the flow in medical systems. She is that type of person. The type that would stand up and say that is wrong. Ethical enough not to work for system that were no aligned with her ethical integrity. A very rare find. She even found the root cause of the of the issues that were missed for years along with doing a very thorough GI work up-greatly improving symptoms and lessening risk damaging other organs. Noting that I have been going to a Functional Medicine GI doctor and did not have such a thorough GI work up. I wish her the best and hope that everything is ok with her. I started seeing Dr. Michaud last year after my former FNP (and awful GI doc) ignored some serious symptoms. She has a great bedside manner, is smart, proactive, and thinks outside of the box. She even came up with possible diagnoses other specialists missed. Although we never figured out the cause, she took EVERYTHING I told her VERY seriously. As a veteran patient, I cannot count how many doctors downplay or ignore serious symptoms. Dr. Michaud not only does the opposite of those doctors but should also teach other doctors how to take their patients' concerns seriously. I was able to get in the following week after scheduling as a new patient and never had difficulty getting appointments. Her receptionist, Annabelle, and her MA, Rachel are friendly and helpful. I wish I found her sooner and had more time to be her patient. Thanks Dr. Michaud for listening to me and helping me as well as serving as an example for the care I hope to provide my patients as a family physician one day!
