Service.....WHAT "service"? Customer Service? Actually, the people that work there are great to…read moredeal with, never had a problem but I don't need to see CS very often. Aisles? If you had a MAP that was ACCURATE or know the aisles by heart it won't matter. I can (and have) gone two days in a row and not found the SAME ITEM in the SAME AISLE as the day before. IF, and it is a BIG "IF", I can find SOMEONE, ANYONE in an aisle to ask "where might I find____?", I usually get a response of "I think it is...." or "I'm not sure, that is not my department." Or my ABSOLUTE FAVE... "It should be....". "SHOULD BE"...you "THINK IT IS..."....well, I NEED You to KNOW. Not GUESS or WONDER. KNOW. If you work in a grocery store where I have to pack my own groceries, WHICH ORIGINALLY was RCSS's mantra with their advertising cheaper pricing based on "PRICES BEING CHEAPER BECAUSE YOU PACK YOUR OWN GROCERIES". THAT has clearly gone to the wayside because RCSS IS NOT "CHEAPER" by a long shot anymore and hasn't been for a LONG TIME. But, here I am, STILL packing my own groceries as well as HUNT for them. The LEAST you can do is EDUCATE YOUR STAFF to KNOW where items are in the store. I rarely am asking for a specific brand or size, usually a question such as "Cheerios" might be as detailed as I get but I DO EXPECT someone with a "Real Canadian Superstore" uniform on, to KNOW WHERE THINGS ARE in the store they work in. I do NOT think that is too much to ask for. I REALLY don't. I RARELY see them stocking shelves in their blue shirts so I guess they are paid to walk around and "think/wonder/guess" where items in the store are because they certainly are NOT there to HELP, at least not with any certainty. IF I had the time to hunt and go aisle by aisle, I wouldn't ASK for HELP. I would do it myself. The ONLY staff that have been 100% correct & known EXACTLY where something IS, are the staff I loathe bothering as they are the ones packing groceries to be picked up. They are on a time limit & I know I would not want to wait because they were doing SOMEONE ELSE'S JOB rather than pack my already ordered groceries which is a service I PAY FOR. Sadly, I have HAD to ask them & I am clear in apologizing, speaking fast and thanking them profusely & forbidding them to SHOW me. "No, no...you have a job to do & I am super sorry I had to bug you at all as there is NO ONE I can find to help me!". Of course they are ALWAYS kind & gracious about it but if 20 people ask them the same question while they are picking groceries, the items they have are going to be melted, warm or worse, so it is NOT fair to them. I am well versed it is not their job. It IS the staff in the blue shirts job though, yet they can only wonder/guess/think about where something is. THAT is IF you can find anyone and IF they speak ENGLISH. No, I do NOT CARE where someone is from. I am a Nurse and have been for MANY YEARS and EVERYONE BLEEDS RED. I have made it MY PERSONAL mission to learn phrases in several languages that help ME with my job in order to help the patient. So YES, I DO expect to be able to UNDERSTAND what someone is saying when I ask a question. Not too much to ask for is it? Today was the tipping point for this VERY UNHAPPY & overdue review. My husband had to stop to get sandwich meat for his lunches. He stood at the deli counter for OVER 10 (TEN) MINUTES trying to "politely yell" for "help" by yelling "Hello, hello...is anyone working here?". Yelling that isn't polite sounding no matter how hard you try but he tried. I KNOW because I was on the phone with him. He was FAR more patient than I would be. NOT HAPPY. OVER TEN MINUTES for someone to come to the Deli to help him. He said that there was literally NO ONE from Tim Hortons all the way down that East wall that the Deli is on. NOT A SINGLE HUMAN to be found. AFTER TEN MINUTES, someone FINALLY came out of the back.REALLY? SERVICE? EMPLOYEES that actually KNOW the store. By the way, this asking that you have employees KNOW the store they work in, is BEFORE you started Reno's on the Deerfoot Meadows Location. So, no excuse with that detail. NOW, we don't BOTHER TRYING to find anyone because if they didn't KNOW BEFORE reno's they sure in the heck do NOT know NOW! Shape up. The COST of MY TIME is far far MORE VALUABLE than what I "save" with you so shopping at Co-op again is starting to look like a savings in money AND TIME. Money, they will match a price. TIME, THAT is a COMMODITY that even YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY BACK, not FOR ANYONE or FROM ANYONE. TIME is the most PRECIOUS commodity we have and if you do NOT believe me, come visit me in ER and I will be more than happy to show you grieving families that would give ANYTHING for 5 more minutes with a loved one. TIME is a PRECIOUS thing and you seem to take it for granted that your customers don't care. WE DO!

Deerfoot Meadows is one of my favourite places to head out to early on Saturday mornings…read more This complex has grown significantly in the past 3 years. Undoubtedly the flagship stores down here are Costco and IKEA and now Walmart Supercentre. In addition you will also find Superstore, Bestbuy, Banana Republic Outlet and Gap Generation to name a few. As well there are numerous fast food and a few sit down restaurants. The good Lots of free parking One stop shopping for almost everything you need Easy access off of Deerfoot The not so good Can get crazy busy on the weekends ( I go early in the morning) Continually growing ( when will it stop? ) All in all, I much prefer Deerfoot Meadows to making numerous stops all over the city. If you havent already done so, head down there and see for yourself, the variety and convenience of shopping here.

I was buying 2 ladies tops, when I picked them out they were on a rack that said 50% off. I know…read morefrom time to time, things get moved around and end up on the wrong rack! However, it looked like all the summer tops were on sale. When I scanned it, it did not show any discount. After several minutes I was able to get the attention of one of the attendants. She looked at the tag and said, there is no yellow tag, so it's not on sale. I asked if it could have come off, and she said no, that's the price. RUDE!! As I was packing up my stuff, the gentleman beside me was also trying to get the attendants attention. He explained that the salad he was about to purchase appeared to be open. She told him to go and get another one. The guy was having a hard time, probably due to his age and mobility. I looked at him and said, really, they couldn't find one person to get that for you. He said, yes I have over $300. in groceries in my cart and that's how much I mean to them. I told him that if this was Safeway, they would have gotten it for him...Macleod Trail Walmart, you need to train your staff!

The store looked bright and well stocked. I only went in for one product but decided to take a look around the produce that looked freshly stocked. I hadn't been in Walmart in a while and now i'm asking myself why not? Everything looked clean and fresh. After i made my way to the tills i noticed no cashiers other than the self serve so made my way into the coral and got lots of help from two ladies who i have to give "shout outs" to. Naz and Daryien who made my new adventure fun and even enjoyable. I don't mind running my items thru and packing myself seeing i'm not in a rush. No problemo with nice ladies like Naz ad Daryien. Thank you for your up front assistance.
