This is a pretty spectacular building that looks old New York style. It's one of the most beautiful buildings, not just in Houston and not just in Texas, but in the whole country. It's gorgeous and beautiful and splendid, and has some of the greatest architectural design, and it's hard not to love it. It's postmodern and gorgeous. It's had lots of names - the RepublicBank Center, the NCNB Center, the NationsBank Center, the Bank of America Center, and looks like an Amsterdam Canal House supposedly. It's the 55th tallest building in the US, and the 7th in TX. Definitely one of my favourite buildings that I have seen around, and definitely one of the most amazing aspects of the Houston Downtown Skyline.

The front desk is where we put our guest book and programs, and they even accepted a floral arrangement that arrived early on our behalf. The kitchen island was perfect for catering food, with enough space to walk all around when serving a buffet and drinks. The large refrigerator kept drinks cold, and the two large trash cans were enough. There were plenty of tables and chairs, both bar height as well as desk height, as well as extra folded chairs and a sofa, to seat everyone. They allowed us to use their speaker/mic, plug into their tv to play an iMovie slideshow using our laptop, and even had someone on-site to assist with garbage pickup at the end of the event. My sister-in-law made all the arrangements, so I don't know how planning the event went, but they were very nice when we arrived a little early for the event setup and even available for a walk-through the day before. Another reason we chose Muze is because they were very flexible on catering/bringing our own food. I highly recommend considering Muze for events where you may want your own food/catering, light A/V, and about 50 people attending.
