I bought an original acrylic on canvas in 2022 from an artist I have known since 1976. It was a 40"…read morex 40" painting on a 2" x 2" pine stretcher, a standard he had been using for decades. I showed it to Craig at Kay's Place who gave me several frame moulding options. He gave me a price and I left the painting. Then without my consent, he removed the canvas painting from the artists wood stretcher and re-stretched it on a narrower 1" x 2" stretcher. I didn't know about this until he called and said it was ready. I came and picked it up, then hung this on the wall. The following day, a ripple in the canvas could be seen in the upper right corner. I returned with the painting a day later and asked that he fix the problem. I got it back a few days later, and soon after, the ripples returned on both sides now. More than a year later, I still see rippled canvas from a poor framing job.

She checked with the manager who also said no. So basically 20 mins later we were out $150.00 when all we wanted to do was spend more money. After a few months the fabric began to pill/ball and after voicing our concern we were told to shave the couch and the pilling should subside. After multiple shaves and continuous pilling we've now been told this is normal and we just need to continuously shave our couches. Had we been told this when selecting the fabric we wouldn't have chose it for obvious reasons. Anyone buying furniture from here should be aware that the manufacture and store will most likely not stand behind their warranty as they have no concern over these issues and deem this normal on a couch less than 1 year old. Update: After a year some of the seams on the cushions have also started to come apart and the couch shaving has become part of our cleaning routine. I shave my couch almost as often as I shave my beard.

You definitely get your bang for buck here. Each pot had more than one plant growing in it, so it grows more veggies than other nurseries I've bought from before. They have a good selection of veggies, herbs, perennials, annuals, outdoor plants. However, the indoor plant section is much smaller and varies throughout the season. They're not my first choice for indoor plants, although I did get a snake plant and majesty palm from here. Both were beautiful. Staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about plants. They can get quite busy, so prepare to wait, especially as they limit the number of people due to covid. They are also currently offering curbside pick up and delivery (for a fee). I didn't notice at first, but there was someone tailing me. I walked back and forth to be certain. Soon he was just standing two feet away from me. I ended up buying some plants (which I probably shouldn't have. One had some sort of blight.) I was going to ask for help at the counter. However, they were pretty rude at the cash and it was then I realized the follower worked there. Then two of them followed me all the way to the car. I don't know if they thought my pregnant belly was a plant or something, but I was just wearing a summer dress and sandals. No where to hide anything. Plus I was holding my wallet. No purse at all. Honestly, I was scared of the two workers following me. I called my friend to tell her just in case they decided to jump me. When I got to the car, they stared at me and quickly put my plants in the back, then drive away. I have never seen such behaviour and I'm still wondering if they were planning to jump or attack me.
