Nice pieces but very unwelcoming staff. The guy cleaning the furniture rudely told us our kids couldn't be unattended. Our kids were literally one section over and not misbehaving at all. He then proceeded to glare at my 7 year old daughter as she innocently touched some decor. Won't be going back.. Edited in response to the owner: The employee could have been much more polite in general. A previous review from another family (scroll down) had the same experience as we did, so that definitely means your business lacks tact when interacting with their potential customers. Instead of rudely telling us to watch our children the employee could have said something like "Hi thank you for visiting us today. We try our best to make sure children are safe and ask that you please have your children near you at all times. We hope you understand." Much more polite, and still gets your message across. Instead of this long winded message below try pouring some of that energy into training your rude staff. Purchasing 2 chests in 2021, I paid in full. Delivered MANY MONTHS later I was just happy they arrived. Much later we realized 1 chest was seriously damaged. We had not attempted to use chests until weeks after delivery. Contacted Rep. (incorrectly) sent partial info needed. Took 3 attempts to do so correctly over many months. Now the 1 year warranty is approaching & Urban Decor has avoided contact. Initial (contact) mistakes were mine but damage on chest has not been corrected. So don't believe talk about 1 year anything regarding warranty. Resent contact today (9/13/22) & not expecting prompt response. Just want the chest to be what I paid for!! Not a refund!!!! read more

Nice furniture, good prices but......they tell you what you want to hear, take your money and then blatantly lie to you. Never once were we told the $149 delivery fee has to be paid in cash. Who the heck has that kind of $ laying around the house. Had to give some cash and then Venmo the delivery guy. No receipt provided. Then we were told they would deliver the end tables for free since they were on back order. When they came in and we called (because no one bothered to call us) they said delivery would only be free if they had a delivery in the area. Which they didn't and wouldn't know when they would in the near future. Don't waste your money or your time. read more

Worst customer service I've dealt with. Expensive furniture with poor quality. Within months of purchase of a dining set the bench was wobbly. It took over a year fighting with them to help, hours and hours on the phone and countless emails. After finally picking out chairs to replace it since the manufacturer "went out of business" so they couldn't repair the bench they told me it would be 3-4 weeks and the new ones would be in. After 8 weeks I contacted them and the chairs had miraculously just came in the day before! But they said they had 4 chairs when they told me they would order six! They place another order, those come in and then I'm told I have to bring my old ones back and pick up the new ones myself or be charged delivery. So I get help with a truck to load up the old ones arrive at the store to be told they don't take back the old ones!!!! What a joke! Strongly recommend no one buys from this place! read more

My family visited this store this afternoon looking for furniture for our new home. We were ready to purchase a dining table set and a recliner but we're still looking around to see if there was anything else that we liked. We had our 3 younger boys with us, who as boys do were playing on a couch. We were approached by an employee who very rudely told us to watch our children who were feet away from us. We felt very unwelcome in the store suddenly and we left. It still didn't set right with my when I got home where I reached out to the store via their Facebook page, where the owner implied that my kids were out of control (they weren't), and were shocked that had to even talk to us about it. Instead of trying to be understanding to a potential customer, they made us feel like bad parents who left their kids run wild and destroy stuff in stores. Very rude. read more

Extremely poor customer service! I went in to look at some side tables. I was trying to decide between 2 sets, one of which had a defect and the colors of the pair were not even close to matching. I was told that's the best price they could do. I decided to measure the height difference between the 2 and they were going to close in 10 minutes. They shut the lights out on me as I was going to the back of the store to measure. I finally decided to go with another set that was on sale for the same exact price as the defective set. They were going to close in 5 minutes. I asked if for some reason they didn't fit in my car could I come back to get them the next day. I was told yes. Then I was about to say which set I was getting and she told me that their "machine was going to shut down at 5 and we can't process any payments now so you can come back tomorrow". I've never been rushed like that in a store before. Extremely rude to shut the lights out on your remaining customers. Clearly they care more about leaving at 5 of the dot over providing good customer service. I could have easily made my purchase in the 5 minutes that was remaining. Make sure to read the reviews on this store before giving them any of your hard earned money because apparently ypur modoesn't mean very much to them! read more

In May of 2021 we spent nearly $4100 for a living room set from Urban Decor in St.John Indiana. Immediately upon delivery the Steve Silver sofa electric recliners were binding and haven't been right since. After a few conversations with the manager at Urban Decor, he advised that an overweight person has exceeded the sofas weight limit (nobody has ever sat on the sofa near that weight) and there is nothing more they can do since the manufacturer is calling it normal wear and tear. I contacted the manufacturer directly and was told that Urban Decor hasn't purchased this model from them and never contacted them to honor the 1 year manufacturers warranty. I would expect more from a company we've spent nearly $9000 in 7 months with. Buyer beware. read more

Please double check everything you are purchasing here. We purchased a bedroom dresser set and spent $2200 for it. One drawer was hard to open and when we purchased it I was told that it will be fine once it gets in the air conditioning of our house.I specifically asked if the matching dresser that was in a spot we couldn't get to was in working condition. She assured us that it was and said everything is checked before they put it on the floor and is in working condition. We used our credit card and were charged a 3% fee( which we knew upfront), and were told we had to pay the $139 delivery fee in cash in day of delivery. They delivered it on a Sun morning and when I went to open the dresser drawers, 90% of them didn't budge. The delivery guys tried all they could to get them to work/ open to no avail. The store wasn't opened yet so they put a call into their manager of the delivery end and he said that our choices were to have them take the dressers back for a FULL refund, or wait until we talk to the owners( who were on vacation) amd see if they would give us a discount. We did not want to get a discount of dressers that we couldn't even use, so we sent them back with the guys( who were awesome btw). They also said we wouldn't be charged for the delivery. My husband called the store at 10am when they opened to talk to the salesgirl about getting our credit and she was so so rude to us, saying that we knew about the drawers not working and to keep it in our air conditioner. She was awful to him on the phone. She ended up giving us credit for the dressers, but subtracted the delivery fee and also the 3% fee for using a credit card. We didn't think that was reasonable and she said we would have to talk to the owners when they got back and they would call us. We tried numerous times to get in contact with them by phone and even travelled to the store which isn't nearby. Again the salesgirl was so rude to us and we never heard from the owners who were totally aware of the situation. We are out $200 for something we dont even have.We wouldve loved to chat with the owners and to even see if we could get the dressers back and see if they would work in the air conditioning and if not we could return them but they didn't even have the courtesy to call us. Very poor way to run a business. Also as someone else commented, I left a short review on their FB page and it mysteriously disappeared within an hour. We didn't deserve to be treated this poorly. I've waited many many years to find the perfect dresser set, and they were beautiful, but this was all handled wrong. read more

I purchased a large area rug for my home and placed it over a clean hardwood floor. When I checked a few days later, under the rug it was filthy. The rug was full of yellow dust, and this dust had settled out of the rug. When I shopped there the other day, I was looking for a new couch. It appeared that the couches being sold did not comply with federal regulations, namely, TB117-2013. What this means is that furniture companies that sell upholstered furniture must comply by insuring that a tag is placed on the piece of furniture stating whether flame retardants have been added to the piece of furniture or not. This is a big deal because there is ample research that shows that flame retardants are hormone disrupters, and as such, can cause cancer and neurodevelopment problems. So, either the tags have been removed, or the furniture is made in a country that is not complying with our law. The prices are not really any different than any other budget furniture store. I purchased a lamp at a higher quality store for the same price that Urban Decor Warehouse listed it for. To me, the furniture is poorly made, many of the doors on cabinets didn't open properly, drawers didn't glide, etc. And for this reason, the furniture is actually over-priced for what you get. The name of the store is Urban Decor Warehouse, but I did not see anything that reminded me of urban furniture--it was precisely the opposite, the furniture appeared to be very cluncky, heavy, and Asian inspired, and most likely was made in China or Indonesia. read more

I was going to buy a sideboard for $1600.00 but was told that it was a special clearance item and they would not deliver it. Even for the delivery fee they refused to deliver it. This thing was 90" long and must have weighed hundreds of pounds. I said "so you will let me walk over the delivery service"? They told me that would lose money if they delivered it. WHAT? It's probably best because in my judgement most of their stuff is pinewood and likely from Mexico. The 3 young girls working today were laughing at me as I left because I hade the audacity to question their idiotic policy. So let's add rude to the mix too! read more

My wife and I spent $13000.00 in 2 months some things in stock on the floor spent almost $8500.00 that day then had to pay in cash$149.00 delivery no receipt givin. Side cover keep falling off after inspection found scratches on tables I fixed them myself. sofa center cushion sits hire then end cushions now $4500.00 more paid up frontdining table chair has stain on back of cushion can't remove stain ordered sofa table was told 8week I find out they weren't being built anymore been calling13 weeks now. You can't talk to any one including miss Robinson and get A straight answer so I see another table they have in the store on line pay even more money go to pick it up they won't let me in the store they bring table out inspect it was damage in 2 spots they sent manager out showed him the damage he was rude as all hell didn't care that I spent all that money. This is a great store with awesome prices and very friendly (not pushy) staff. Went on a Thursday to look for a mattress and the saleswoman said they will have more out on Saturday. Also saw a very nice high top dining table as well. Went back on Saturday and Ricky and some other workers went above and beyond pulling out mattresses for my girlfriend and I to try until we found the perfect one. Kelly was also extremely helpful in getting us the table and setting up our delivery. $600 for a king size mattress and free box springs. $1000 for a great table with 6 chairs. They have a heavy rotation so I can't wait to see what they have in another few weeks. read more

So impressed! The staff (especially Ricky and Lori) are so very friendly and helpful. I never felt any pressure, but felt very welcome. They had coffee out for the customers, holiday music playing, and everyone smiled at me and welcomed me. Their Facebook page is awesome, which is what prompted me to drive an hour to see everything in person. Check that out first, if you prefer. I'm so glad I did! They have a great selection of unique items. It's not like walking into a big box store with miles and miles of furniture, but it's got unique and cool items. Totally fair prices (a nice range), and quality stuff. I've been remodeling for a few years now, and this was by far one of the nicest afternoons I've had purchasing furniture.
