The pad I had him pour was not proper level and out of square. Out or square forced my carport to…read morehang over, looks tacky. He tried to explain that the out of level was to drain properly to the street which I understand, east to west, the water drains south to north not towards the street but puddles on the steel legs of my carport. The level is off 8 inches from south to north, so my carport ended up losing 8 inches of height and was charged extra to remove 8 inches from every leg on north side. The driveway edges were not troweled correctly, ended up all cracked and he came back to fix but already cracked off again, very tacky. They poured concrete on my existing concrete and let it dry, staining the concrete and looks very tacky. They cleaned their wheel barrels in the middle of my yard, along with all the sand and cigarette butts I had to clean up after them. My driveway was left a muddy mess from their power wheel barrels and again had to spend a whole day power washing it myself. Splattered concrete that won't power wash off all over my garage door and driveway along with scratches/dents from the demo and damaged the edge of my existing garage floor. The entry way to my carport pad has leaves dried into and deep marks left in it to dry. I told him I wanted it to match my existing driveway and he broomed it anyway, but did a sloppy job brooming it as well and left leaves and sticks that left surface marks. Broom lines are not straight and leaves were just broomed in as well not removed. He also demands payment at beginning and then before the job is finished... now I see why! Don't bother with this guy! Once it's dry it's too late, don't make my mistake, pay after he is done NOT before! Better yet just find a professional as he is NOT.

He was very kind and professional. The work and craftsmanship went beyond our expectations. Ground prep was above and beyond. Absolutely beautiful concrete. A bit pricey, but worth every cent.

Very few concrete companies were available to work within my timeline. And to make matters worse, rain was in the forecast. However, Victor of Vic's Concrete LLC answered the call. He informed me of the weather forecast, which I was already aware, but said then said he could work around the rainy days. I was intrigued and listened to his plan. So, on Sunday, May 29th, due to the rain scheduled to come in on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Victor suggested that he set the forms on Tuesday, and pour the concrete on Friday or Saturday, depending on the rain. I thought to myself that that may not work for me. I informed Victor that, due to my faith, I cannot have anyone working for me Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. Victor assured me that if he poured the concrete by Friday, 8am, he would be done by 2-3pm, the latest, depending on the rain. Victor further stated that after he poured the concrete, he would water proof it. I gave the 'ok'. Now, for any of you that have read my past reviews, you know I sometimes have a tendency to be a bit "extra". As such, I asked Victor if he could pour concrete around the sprinkler heads, closing them off, rather than me having to relocate the sprinklers. Victor agreed to accommodate. I also asked him to add drainage pipes in the garden beds to detour water away from the beds and, more importantly, the foundation of the house. For a small additional cost, Victor once again agreed to accommodate. I'd actually forgotten to ask Victor to pour concrete around the backflow preventer, similar to the sprinklers. However, Victor had clearly been paying attention to what I'd been asking for, saw my vision and instinctively followed suit by creating a neat barrier around the backflow preventer. He'd done everything I asked and then some. After it was all said and done, I wrote the man a check and enjoyed the beauty of my new sidewalk. I'll admit, I was nothing less than impressed. That is until I ran my sprinklers. I noticed that Zone 5 was inoperative. When I went outside to see why they would not function, low and behold, I discovered water gushing from the ground. I turned off the sprinklers, and shined a light down the hole in the ground, only to observe a broken pvc pipe within, where one of the concrete form stakes had been hammered. Needless to say, I was a bit upset. I was ready to put a stop payment on the check, but first contacted Victor to address the matter and see what he would do. Mind you, this was Saturday night. Victor responded in approximately 1 hour and informed me that he would come back out at 9am the next morning. Well, the next morning, Sunday, it was pouring rain again. I honestly did not expect Victor to show. Next thing I knew, my phone was ringing and Victor asking me to run the sprinklers so he could locate the leak. This guy is a soldier. Come rain or shine, he is on the job. He fixed the broken pvc and everything is now functional and looking good. I have to say. I've seen my share reliable contractors and those that I would no longer even trust to change a light bulb. Victor's one of the good ones. We had a brief discussion during the job in which he told me that he had taken over his father's concrete business, and I just know that by Victor's work ethic, his father would be proud of the job he's doing. I would highly recommend Victor of Vic's Concrete LLC for your concrete needs. Thanks Victor!

HE DOESN'T HAVE A WEBSITE BUT TYPE IN MAESTRO MASONRY IN FACEBOOK AND YOU WILL FIND HIM! I originally went on yelp to research them and came across one with high reviews but I never heard back from the guy until 2 weeks later. I then decide to visit the dreaded craigslist for one because knowing a brick mason wasn't at the top of my list! I came across Tony's ad and click on his facebook page. I then witness all of his amazing work and notice that his work is superb! Lots of brick mason's in their photos I found that they would tuckpoint the brick but smear it on and leaving you with just a messy end product. I was able to text Tony a photo of my planter and explain to him what I'm wanting he immediately responded with a quote. He Is a busy man and fills up quickly so he came out 2 weeks later and even completed a few other spots he pointed out that I hadn't noticed before. He was prompt, professional, kind and overall just had a wonderful experience with his work. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and he even gave me helpful tips on how to prevent cracks in my flower beds for the future. If you need a new mailbox built, or another small or large project, Tony is your man!
