I paid for the highest package for a car wash and asked the attendant if that cleans the inside and he said yes. When my car was done, only the carpets were clean and the rest of the car was still dusty. My car is super small (Mazda 3; hatchback) so the fact they couldn't clean it good was very disappointing. Damaged my car and refused to take responsibility. I have been a customer for over 4 years and the last two times I have brought my brand new car to get washed it has been damaged both times. I pointed out the initial damage the last time was in and asked the guys to be careful, and then it came out damaged again. Abraham acknowledged the damage, took down my information and said the Location Manager would call me to rectify the situation. After multiple unanswered calls, both the Location Manager Jason and his Manager Brett blamed me for the damage and were willing to lose a longtime customer over something that would cost maybe $150 to fix. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have used this place since they opened and watched the service deteriorate over the past 3-4 years. Today will be the last time I go there. I paid for a gold wash. When I walked over to my car the entire rocker panel around my vehicle was filthy. The back wasn't vacuumed, the seats were barely wiped down. We have been going to a Urban Auto Spa in Franklin Lakes for a long time. They take very good care of our cars, we expect a similar standard from the Ramsey branch however we were left disappointed. The car was not clean properly, the staff had to be reminded over and over to spot clean in very many different areas of the car. It was just not a satisfactory experience overall, along with that they were just jam packing in cars back to back which created even more of a rush to be done with your car. Horrible experience. I paid for the gold package which cleans inside and outside with some extra stuff. They didn't clean the inside at all and when I asked them about the crumbs they told me I have to pay for the platinum package that includes mats. Makes no sense since dashboard and interior cleaning is included in the gold package. Safe to say I won't go back here. I've always wanted to come here because they are always super busy and I felt like that was a good sign. Alas, I could have gotten this wash anywhere. I paid for their best wash ($31) and as you can see from my photos, they didn't care to get the dirt under the roof rack. It seriously would have taken a few seconds to wipe it off. I understand I wasn't paying for a $200 detail, but these kinds of spots are unacceptable for me. They did an excellent job on the interior, but I had just cleaned that anyway. I just don't understand how they could leave such visible dirt splotches on my car. I want to go take my tip back. Today, New Year's Day I tried out this spot. I had a coupon for $3 off from a handout and since it was a warmer winter day I thought why not. Time to get rid of some of that salt. Bought a package which included a cleaning of the interior in addition to the exterior ($18). They were detailed, fast and efficient. I was really pleased by the wash. Sometimes depending on where I go they neglect the trunk even after my request to vacuum but here they did it without me having to question anything. Was very pleased. If I'm on this side of 17 again I will have no hesitations on popping in for a wash. Just got my "car washed" today. I guess prices are comparable to this area and extremely quick when you want to get in and out. Brought my couple of months old car which didn't have a lot of dirt to clean inside and out- pretty much the same way it went in it came out. When I said something about the center consul still having some dust on it I literally heard the guy blowing on my center consul- seriously you're blowing on my car!? Now I feel like I need to re-sanitize my entire car. Unfortunately this is my second time coming here and the first time they forgot to vacuum my trunk and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by trying again and I will never come back. I was very disappointed to see customers inside the building not wearing masks. I was even more disappointed when I notified the manager and his response was that the owner was aware but that some customers refuse to wear masks. There are splotches on the door on the driver side, the backseats weren't even touched and I don't even think they back in the backseat. When I expressed my concerns they did a half assed attempt to wipe one of the back of the seats and told me that's what I did was not included. But I did pay for something that included vacuuming which I don't think it was done at all in the back. My mom and I got a car wash here today and paid for the gold wash. Not one thing was different except the exterior. Dust and leaves were still on the inside and it didn't even look like they touched the inside. Not to mention my boyfriend got his oil changed here last week and on his way to work the oil completely leaked out and upon review FOUND OUT THEY COMPLETELY DID THE OIL CHANGE WRONG. When we told them and brought back the receipt they said "not us" and didn't even offer his money back. Now he has no car at all. I went to Urban Auto yesterday since it's close to home, but I'm pretty dissatisfied. The wheel rims, seats, and interior along the back windshield were still pretty dirty despite paying for the silver package. They also overlooked a couple shoe prints along the pocket of the driver's door. Mats aren't washed, just vacuumed. The entire thing felt incredibly rushed and wasn't worth the price. read more

I've tried multiple times, better off at APC in Waldwick. 10 times better service for only a few more dollars. I think I'll now take my oil changes elsewhere as they don't seem to care. I've been coming here to have my car washed for about 10 years now, it'll always be my go-to, but I'll warm you, it REALLY matters what time of the day you go. I've made this mistake a few times, and it's not always an exact science, but I've had more hits than misses. They've serviced a couple of my vehicles as I've had leases on small and larger SUVs. My small car, was an x1 and they did a fairly consistent job cleaning it. I have since upgraded to a Lincoln and I've noticed a slack jobs more than good ones. Even scratched the interior straight away after it's very first wash. So if you have a large car and come during peek hours, you're going to get a half assed vacuum and wipe down. I typically go either right when they open, or just before they close when there is only a few cars in front of me. They are not rushed, they do a great job vacuuming, and the service is pleasant. Any other time, and you'll get a rushed job. read more

If you're expecting an A-1 top notch car wash this is NOT the place. They do an ok job on the outside, minus the wheel/rim cleaning which they totally don't get. Vacuuming the inside is a waste...we all can do a better job. The management doesn't know how to deal with customers when an issue comes up that is not satisfactory. Always a great wash here, they use a special soft rubber brush system the won't scratch. I highly recommend purchasing a package that allows you to come in every day if you'd like. Everyone is polite and if I'm not happy about something they have always corrected it. I highly recommend. read more

Let me start by saying I have never posted a bad review about any business, but I am so upset at how poorly I have been treated that I want to make sure others are warned. I've been going to Urban Auto Spa in Ramsey for years, my husband too, we have taken several cars there and have always been pleased with the service. However, in January of this year a car wash attendant accidentally closed my 3rd row seat with a sharp ice scraper on the seat cushion. Unfortunately the ice scraper cut a hole several inches long into the leather seat cover. I understand accidents happen. What I don't understand is the complete lack of professionalism in how this is being handled. The manager has been mostly pleasant, but is denying any fault, saying it's the owner's decision. I have called both locations asking to speak to the owner and every staff person is trained to say they are not allowed to tell me the owner's name and they take a message. But no one ever calls me back. It seems shifty and dishonest to me. This is a fairly new car, I take good care of my cars and I am just shocked at this lack of customer service. Urban Auto Spa must be insured for repairs like this. It's probably going to cost them more to lose me and my husband's business than it would have to just pay to fix my seat. read more

I got my truck washed there today and I have to say it wasn't a very pleasant experience all around. Yes it was pretty busy and I understand that, however the staff was not friendly at all and just seemed rushed and did not want to speak to me. Once my truck came out, they rushed to dry it. there were spots and water dripping EVERYWHERE.
