I didn't choose Sheila because she could navigate the MLS and walk me through a bunch of properties based on my telling her what I was looking for (though she's a wizard at doing that very thing).
The fact is, I actually didn't know what I was looking for exactly, and I was relying on her for counsel...which she provided by presenting in very logical way, all the options that I needed to consider.
The result was my recent purchase of this sweet condo on the Roaring Fork River in Snowmass.
In addition to the choosing chore, what I also needed from Sheila was her technical knowledge and expertise with all the nuts and bolts of mortgages, rates, contracts, appraisals, timelines, contingencies, penalties, title considerations, and closings.
And in that objective, I was not disappointed either...just the opposite in fact.
I think that's because long before Sheila was a real estate agent/broker, she worked as a processor in real estate for many years and knows the business of buying and selling properties inside and out not only from the paperwork standpoint, but also from the position of being a professional acutely aware of federal and Colorado real estate law and ethics.
I think she's more than a journeyman real estate broker. I think she's a master at her craft...experienced, dedicated, intelligent and ethical. read more
