    Aspen Vacation Rentals - Dishonest "Luxury" and no integrity…read more Booked what was marketed as a five-star condo; got a crash course in broken promises and radio-silence customer service. 1 | Undisclosed Construction = Vacation-Long Jackhammers Arrived to find the resort a construction zone--jackhammers where the pool used to be, pool deck fenced off, fountains bone-dry, plywood tunnels to the beach. Aspen Vacation Rentals never warned us. At check-in they brushed it off as "a little maintenance." Classic bait-and-switch. 2 | "Five-Star" Unit? Hardly Lanai coated in cement dust, outdoor furniture filthy, toiletries the cheapest travel minis, threadbare towels--nothing remotely Ritz-caliber for the price we paid. 3 | Promises Made, None Kept * Refunds: Company twice agreed to a partial refund for the disruption. Nothing ever arrived. * Responses: Promised daily updates, then ghosted--no calls, emails, or Airbnb replies. * Integrity: Boasts "24/7 guest support" yet disappears when issues arise. 4 | Airbnb AirCover to the Rescue With Aspen Vacation Rentals MIA, we escalated to Airbnb AirCover, which ruled the listing "significantly not as advertised." Only Airbnb's intervention provided any assistance. Bottom Line Aspen Vacation Rentals talks five-star service but delivered: * Zero disclosure of major construction * Sub-par cleanliness and amenities * Broken refund promises & ignored messages * Total reliance on Airbnb to fix their mess They charged a luxury rate and showed rock-bottom ethics. Where do I begin to keep the reader right on point,first of all the home was luxurious and spacious accordingly the price was asked and true to pictures but it was one and only good thing dealing with this management company!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of the things were simply low class conversations and blow up stories to keep the client. We have rented for 2 months and never bothered agents for anything (stupid of us),we of course had to pay for once a week cleaning that was done horrible by their employees with outrageous hourly rate and multiple things kept breaking in the home during our stay (toilets,TVs). To add to a big picture I will mention that they don't pick up trash cans very often and we had bears appeared right in front of the house eating that garbage!!! We had to clean it up with our bare hands cos police officers were called by neighbors and the management company of course gave us some promising stories about how hard they r trying to get to us ASAP. I could be giving you much more details but will mentions 2 more things that will keep ur eyes open and hopefully u will stay away from these liers and thefts. One is I have asked to purchase a set of fresh linens of any quality as long as it was new and unused since we were staying there for a long time and the price range of the place screamed for itself any necessaries the client is willing to have so that was taken very personally by an agent and they made it look like I'm asking for impossible. Buttom line of that was many allergies from the given bedding!!!!!!!!!!!! Second and last is once we left they played a smart game of being quiet,one thing was told that place is in great shape and we will be getting our deposit back within 60 days so finally after not hearing from them for 47 days we tryed to contact them multiple times and only after we pretend to make another booking thru them the was an answer which made us feel absolutely disrespected and used!!!!!!!! There was a detailed bill for how much mess we have left and it was all fixed up using our deposit of course! We even purchased an insurance to cover any damages we may leave behind and there was no end to it looking for a true answer or professionalism from their side so please stay away from the promises and this agency it is simply bad news!!!! Marian and Tracy r the most fake agents u will come across!!!!!! Last but not least we have been never told the neighbors simply don't like renters and the outcome followed throughout the stay.

    This is a dying business with an uncaring and sad staff. What is remarkable is the crystal clear…read moreincomprehensible demoralization that has infected all employees of MPM from the top down. The business does not meet the minimum standards of property management. I would give this business an F for failure in every area. The examples are too numerous to mention. Suffice to say MPM was our property management service to 3 interminable years. One is ever hopeful that things will turn around but they never did. The delays to execute the simplest tasks were mind boggling. Once, after waiting for a full year for a single white line to be painted down the center of our 4 car parking garage we were told it had taken that long to find a painter with free time. The job took less than 1 hour to complete. Refusing to allow the grossly substandard service to become normalized I sent a series of emails documenting the issues that needed doing or, more likely, redoing after MPM failures. These emails later became the basis of one of their own employees defenses against MPM who threatened the employee with deportation. The particular employee they fired and tried to deport was, of course, the only management level employee who knew what she was doing. The man who's name is in the title of the company is clearly a sick and troubled soul. I have a lot of compassion for that. But, not so much compassion to allow our monthly fees to MPM to bring us nothing in return. Those fees amounted to a form of theft. We paid our contracted fees, we got less than zero in return. This is a business to stay away from at all costs.
