I ended up with a $600 bill for a consultation-one that involved a 15 minute visit. I've called several times inquiring about the reason for these absurd charges and received nothing but disregard and rude responses. Terrible throughput terrible efficiency. The only saving grace this office has is the doctor it's self!!! Doc is fast and efficient and was very apologetic after getting hung up in a long surgical case. This offices scheduling waiting and room assignment system are rubbish. But the doctors keep it certifiable. 4/5 barely (1/5 if we add in the waiting room deductions)

Avoid this clinic at all costs. I came in with neck and back…read morepain, expecting to be referred for an MRI. Instead, I was told that imaging wasn't necessary and was recommended a course of massages. After two weeks, there was some slight improvement, and I was informed that Dr. Peter would perform spinal manipulations on my neck. I clearly expressed that I was afraid of any neck-related procedures. While I was lying face down on the table, the doctor entered without a greeting or explanation, abruptly cracked my neck on both sides, and walked out without saying a word. Immediately after the procedure, I developed a severe headache on my way home. Ibuprofen helped for the first few days, but soon after, I began experiencing nausea, dizziness, and worsening pain. When I called the clinic to report these symptoms, I was given an appointment only several days later. At the follow-up, Dr. Peter falsely claimed that I had refused an MRI at the beginning, which is not true. When I corrected him, he threatened to call the police if I didn't leave the clinic within three minutes. No referral for MRI or proper treatment (such as steroids) was provided. It felt like they were trying to avoid having any documented evidence of their mistakes. This experience was not only unprofessional but also dangerous. I strongly advise against going to this clinic -- especially allowing anyone to perform neck manipulations without proper imaging. Dr. Peter showed a shocking lack of professionalism, communication, and concern for patient safety.

Not only that he was able to find the source of my pain when I thought I was a hypochondriac but he put my mind to rest when he discovered what was wrong with me and causing me debilitating pain through my entire body. They are probably the kindest, gentleness and loveliest people I have probably had the pleasure of being helped by, if not the best at what they do. I strongly recommend them and I am highly nervous of the medical profession. I was given wonderful and delicate care. It has now been 2 weeks and my pain level is about 50% of the level prior to the procedure. Dr Cha indicated I should see additional relief over the next 6 months. Given the severity level of back pain I had experienced for the past 30 years I am very pleased with the results so far. The Doctor and his team were very professional, answered all of my questions, and made me comfortable and confident prior to the procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Cha to anyone experiencing pain.

Where to begin..... I was in a major car accident in 1997 ( age 19). From there, lot of surgeries…read morefollowed by loads of Dr apts. Pain was a real factor after the accident which led me to see a pain specialist. Having said, I was on major opioids for last 28 years up until 2 months when Cristina Gonzalez at From Pain to Wellness kicked me out of the practice for one of the meds I was on not showing in my urine. Just like that, after 28 years of opioids, 13 years of being seeing by the same pain management clinic.. that was it! Kicked to the curb with no help, no suggestion on where to go , what to do... Frankly, my first thoughts were very dark - wasnt sure if life was worth living. Was worried about withdrawals.. more importantly how in the HELL does a Dr prescribe 300mg of oxy a day and then say " adios.... Hope you figure it out.... ". Well Cristina, the joke is on you b/c Ive never been better. All thanks to Dr Oyasu of ModernMed. For those out there who are looking for support.. maybe youve experienced a similar situation with a rigid personality nurse practitioner. Whatever it is, please know that it's gonna be ok! In Fact, your life is gonna get better..... Dr Oyasu of ModernMed is a Demi god! His regular job is that of an emergency room physician yet he decided to open ModernMed to support people like me, who got caught up in an opioid cycle. All this b/c his heart was breaking for all the types of people coming into his ER for opioid treatment / withdrawal . my first apt was to discuss my plan in how I was going to get off 300 mg / day of OXY basically cold turkey without ruining my life, my marriage, my job. Dr sat down with me to come up with a plan. He prescribed a handful of medications in which I was super scared yet OMG I had ZERO withdrawals.... I maybe felt a little crummy for a few hours, maybe a day and that was it..... withdrawals over! Folks... you DONT have to spend 100k on some fancy rehab. You just need a really good Dr! Here we are.... Almost two months later... weve had to tweak a few of the meds yet I'm on my way to being fully done w/ opioids and the best part is that I've never felt better - i feel strong, alert, happy, my brain is working in ways it hasnt in decades... I can't explain it but it's exciting . I feel like my brain is coming to life! I hope this helps someone out there! Whoever u are... whoever needs help... Dr Oyasu is waiting for u with open arms to help you see the light. Opioids suck! It's a never ending ticket to nowhere. At Pain to Wellness I spent $500 a month with insurance just to come in to do regular refill apt. Just think , that's $6000 back in my pocket! Maybe I'll spend that money on a trip to Africa, maybe Europe.. Best part is that I won't be jaded on opioids... I'm free!!!!!
