And biggest thing that struck me is that it did not smell like a musty resale or consignment store. It is huge, and it's pretty easy to get lost in it. But it has all these little sections and "rooms" that people can rent to consign or sell their wears. There are people who are selling "flea market" style, and there are artists who are using it as a small store style...crafts, and painting, photography, wood working, jewelry...some pretty awesome stuff. They also have a local artist who does painting classes out of the studio, and right when you first walk in a whole rack of books written by local authors. We picked up a kids book about a bunny that immigrates from Italy to Clarksburg...which I thought would be good for my boys as it mirrors their ancestors history. This is a music store and also offers other items like some nice clothes etc.I've browsed in plenty of music stores in my lifetime and when I did in this one my dream guitar was hanging up and waiting for me. A used Gretsch Streamliner. So we talked and I was able to put it on lay-a-way. But then Covid-19 came along and changed everything! The guy who had consigned it picked it up and brought it home...which nobody blames him with the virus running around and trying to attack anyone or anything it could (and still does!). But Chris came through like the person he is...someone who cares. And we talked and he ordered me another one. And this one turned out to be an even better guitar as far as the playability and instead of the reddish type finish, it was.... I decided on a nice Walnut. Talk about beautiful!...
