The owner (I think her name was Delia) greeted us as soon as we got in. Her and her family have paintings and they are beautiful. She followed us around talked with us and was so friendly. There is art work, books, and even little figurines. It was so cute and beautiful. The prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend.

I had a 100$ bill that she quickly said "I can't take that" which I get . I said, I have a debit card . So after her rude attitude, I decided nope, I will not patronize your store ! I said Nevermind , I may stop back later and I left. She needs a lesson in how to be kind and helpful .

And biggest thing that struck me is that it did not smell like a musty resale or consignment store. It is huge, and it's pretty easy to get lost in it. But it has all these little sections and "rooms" that people can rent to consign or sell their wears. There are people who are selling "flea market" style, and there are artists who are using it as a small store style...crafts, and painting, photography, wood working, jewelry...some pretty awesome stuff. They also have a local artist who does painting classes out of the studio, and right when you first walk in a whole rack of books written by local authors. We picked up a kids book about a bunny that immigrates from Italy to Clarksburg...which I thought would be good for my boys as it mirrors their ancestors history. We also found some records, and an old WV license plate.

The owner immediately greeted us and offered to show us around the store. She informed us that this store is an old bank, showed us where the old vault is, and gave us some additional history about the store. I was really taken back by how kind she was. My whole family really enjoyed walking around the shop. My sister found some stuff, my mom found things she really liked and I found some things as well. I purchased ramp salt, as I have never seen anything like that before and am always excited to try new foodie items. I also purchased two prints by a local artist that I absolutely adore. Overall, this shop has an incredible selection of unique gifts and treats and is worth seeing if you're in the area! Oh yeah, and there was a dog here when I visited- making it THAT much cooler!
