Great antiques. I have purchased many fine pieces over the years. Prices are very reasonable. The owners bend over backwards to help you. I drive hours to see their jewels and always find something I can't live without. I don't feel that they are billionaires, but instead want to preserve our heritage. Antiques are dusted and kept lovingly displayed. If you come to town, bring a van and a happy heart. A glass of wine and a joke will be offered, as you enter. Sometimes I feel sad that I am stealing a part of their collection, but once home my 1828 Colonial, bursts into joy as if something that was missing has finally come home. This month I plan on searching there maple tables and oak curio cabinets for just the right candle stick phone and gleaning the basement for the perfect Victorian wall scone. I will end up with arm loads of, just the right things. If you get there before me, please be considerate and show respect for the time and efforts of this lovely couple. Getting a bargain is guaranteed. Each item is waiting just for you. Unlike EBay, these items are not marked up to reflect months of slow business nor hidden shipping and handling gas price adjustments. Many times a Depression ware glass lamp has slipped my gaze and whilst awaiting its forever home has revealed an undisturbed sticker with original price.
Don't wait till the heavy tourist seasons or people like me will grab the goodies. Although. They do offer delivery for a reasonable price and distance.
I am drooling, like Maslow's Dogs in anticipation.
A really fun day! read more
