I love the opportunity I have to paint at Uptown Art. It's relaxed and comfortable and I am truly inspired when I'm there.

Uptown art is a great experience for anyone that wants to be a little creative and have a not so common night out. I have painted at the Jupiter location four times. Three were for "paint your pet" events which is a specialty. You really have to scour the calendar, but you can send in a photo and get a little bit of help learning how to paint your own pet and I've been successful two out of three times :-) The other time I attended an event in Jupiter, I was just painting a standard Halloween scene and it came out very well and my friend and I enjoyed the camaraderie as we caught up on news from each other's lives. It's easy, enjoyable, and not very expensive to do with friends. I highly suggest it for a date night, a birthday gift, or to spend time with someone you care about. read more

I was so excited to come here. I had a date night planned. I booked my tickets online for a class that was offered in the middle of September. The day finally arrives and we get there and it's closed... not a single soul in the building. I never got an email saying it was cancelled or rescheduled NOTHING. I was upset but we figured it out and went somewhere. That's not the worst part. I have YET to get a hold of these people about my booking. I wanted to see when we can make up our class but now i just want my refund. I had been over a month and I am beyond annoyed. DO NOT book at this location. They don't answer the phone or return voicemails. Really upset about my experience here. read more

Was driving by and just decided to randomly stop here with some friends. Paid for the class and a couple of bottles of wine and had a great time! The instructor was pretty good at explaining the steps to make your own version of her design. Class was three hours long, $25 per person and paid $10 for each bottle. If you go for 8 classes the 9th is free. Not a big painter or art fan but was a different and fun experience. Painting with a buzz always recommended and will have a great end product lol. Oh my gosh, this was SOOO much fun! I had a party of 4 (2 tweenies, and 2 adults) none of us had any experience painting nor did we consider ourselves talented. By the end of the class we all had the coolest piece of art to take home. It was so easy and we all felt such a sense of accomplishment. We will be doing this again!!! read more

Took my first art painting class here (well aside from school haha) and it was awesome! The instructor was so cheery and helpful, I think her name was Kim. The front desk girls were also great and we had so much fun! They really go step by step so even if you aren't a great artist you will produce something unique and have fun! Signed up for a painting class with my friend this past Saturday. Was okay but the class was supposed to be from 2-5pm. At 6:10, she's still instructing is on what to do as far as painting. I don't think it would have been SO bad if the chairs were more comfortable, but to sit there for 4 hours when it should've been 3 is a bit much. The instructor was nice enough. read more

Tried Uptown Art for the first time and very disappointed. They were fully booked and decided to move people down to add more!! One was added to the very end of our table and one to the side making 5 people unhappy. We were like sardines. There was no room for my sister to mix her paint on the table. Because they moved us closer together, the ladies across from us kept hitting our pictures while we were trying to paint. The instructor tried to be more of a comedian than an instructor. The instructor's picture looked nothing like the original on the website. Disappointed!!! The ladies around me were complaining about the class. The assistants were not helpful. I've had a more enjoyable time at PWAT in Boynton and the Art Cellar. We will not go back to Uptown. read more

I just went last night for my first time and I have to say it was SO MUCH FUN! I came out with a beautiful painting of paradise that I really love. Molly & Andrea were so nice and awesome. Every single teacher is talented and engaging (as well as entertaining). The way they guide thru step-by-step painting, everyone goes home with a pretty painting! It's fun and allows your creative juices to flow. I recommend it to EVERYONE! read more
