There's a lot of outdoor walking space around the main lake/lagoon where you can see the nurse sharks and sea turtles amongst the many other fish there. The weather was really nice the day we went, so we took a stroll through the nature trails. They are mostly boardwalk trails with a few covered stops with benches. The main trail is a 1 mile loop but there is also a 1/3 mile loop that is good for kids. The main trail will take you to the Indian River Lagoon for some nice storefront views! The main building has some cool artwork made of reclaimed beach litter that makes you really think about proper waste disposal. There's also a few tanks with cool fish and such to see. The entire center has a few different spaces for bathrooms that are easy to access. I'd recommend coming here for a nice day in the fresh air and sunshine to enjoy the flora and fauna of Florida!

They put colored pole with a shape that each knows. They swim over bump the Pole and get fed. These had boat injuries so they would never be in the wild. I have stage 4 Nueroendocrine cancer and my son has always wanted to ride a horse so we were crossing off a bucket list item. Joyce' horses were well cared for, healthy animals with personalities that were great. After a couple of carrots Joyce allowed us to give them, and a little rubbing, they warmed up to us nicely. Joyce patiently explained to my 12 yr old how to sit the horse, hold the reins and feel comfortable astride. In fact by the end of our ride he was cantering with with some ease. I cannot express how impressed and happy we both were with our outing. If the chance comes again for the two of us to ride we will definitely choose Choyce Ponies again. After all quality is something we should look for.

The playground equipment was designed to look like it is set in trees and there are climbing components and slides. There also swings, picnic tables, and a rock climbing wall. Unfortunately one area was taped off for repair. Outside the playground area is a spacious lawn for even more play room. The treehouse park serves as a meetup location for area residents to participate in mommy and me and daddy and me playdates. The kids who were playing here looked like they were having a blast.

This park was built by the Kiwanis Club of Stuart, which has been serving the children of Martin…read moreCounty since 1938. They are the second oldest club organization in Martin County. In 1990 the Kiwanis entered into an agreement with the City of Stuart who owned the property this park sits on. The Kiwanis and the local historical society, Stuart Heritage partnered together to raise funds for the park by selling historical Stuart themed Christmas ornaments. Every year the two groups work together to study the history of Stuart and design the ornament. The first ornament was sold in 1995. Stuart Heritage sells the bulk of the ornaments and in return they get to keep $5 per ornament for their organization while the Kiwanis use their portion of the proceeds for the park. Over a million dollars has gone into park renovations. The goal of the Kiwanis Club was to create a place where all children can play. Handicap accessible vehicles can pull right up to the entrance of the park. The park has specialized play equipment including a roller tunnel, accessible see saw, airplane bouncy, and roller slide. In addition to the playground equipment the park has benches, grills, pavilions, picnic tables, paved walkways, and a restroom. Everything in the park is beautifully maintained with lots of flowering bushes and trees to add color to the park. The park can be rented from the Kiwanis Club for parties and private events. For all of the efforts put in by the Kiwanis Club, this park has been named the premier park in Martin County. I love discovering parks that are made to include all children, especially those with sensory issues or physical disabilities. The children at this park looked like they were having a wonderful time. Martin County is beautiful and when you see a park like this you know they really care about their children.

There are benches and little seating areas. The park is very clean & well kept. The staff that I've seen through the park are very polite. Every time we have come out, there has been a shaved ice mobile truck, they have all been very delicious and very refreshing, especially on sunny hot days usually they accept cash, cards and contactless payment. Most definitely would be perfect if it was more shaded but the kiddos would enjoy it no matter the weather.
