I went there stressed he had a UTI then you leave him covered in urine and also some STOOL, My poor baby looked terrible and they left him covered in his pee all scared and didn't even attempt to clean him other than putting a pee pad in his crate which did nothing to clean him otherr then soaking up the pee left in his crate. they also had to take his collar off and i wasn't going to put it on him until the next day to then realize they broke his collar taking it off him and didn't even tell me that...I love dr Kinney, she is the only good provider there but whoever treated my Milo that day did not care for him like you would your own pet, I'm extremely dissapointed with how he was cared for, i do not recommend any other vet then dr Kinney if you need to see someone there.

I brought my two senior cats in for bloodwork and an exam. One cat was then diagnosed with…read morehyperthyroidism and put on meds when the bloodwork showed an elevated thyroid level. I then received a call that the bloodwork "may have been mixed up" so bring my one cat back in for a free retest. This test indicated a low thyroid level and was significantly different from the first test with an elevated level. Instead of a vet looking at the 2 bloodtests and seeing they were so different and most likely not my cats bloodwork . I'm contacted by the vet techs and told to continue on the thyroid meds. One vet tech was not aware there was a blood test mix up and one told me when I asked why it seemed like the 2nd test was so different that it was not my cats bloodwork answered me by saying" That's a good question". Then I wonder was my other senior cat bloodtest mixed up as they were done at the same time? Meanwhile I spent $100 on thyroid meds and $520.38 on bloodwork and I still dont know if my cat has hyperthyroidism. because the new bloodwork does not show it. I was offered after complaining another free retest after taking my cats off the meds but honestly I have a very stressed old cat who has already been in for 3 blood tests and a vets office that I'm dealing with techs not the vet. I plan on going elsewhere where I can deal with a vet that can call me, and actually take the time to look at the bloodwork

This the reason for my call to see if you have services for my pet and would be inappropriate facility his diagnostic needs. She was abrupt and rude. It's fine if you don't have a certified exotic veterinarian, but you don't be snappy and dismissive! I called another facility that also couldn't help me with my pet, but she was kind and patient and still very helpful to try to find something for . They gave me a muzzle, with peanut butter on it, to secure on Buddy. Then we loosely covered his head with a towel; while I kept talking to him and petting his head. They actually laid on the floor, next to him, and paw by paw clipped his nails. He no longer needs anesthesia. Total time "10 minutes". Thank you for your compassion

We had to wait an hour or two to get a call back after leaving a voicemail, but once our call was returned, we were able to get a visit that day. What was an incredibly stressful time was made easier by the gentle guiding and kindness of Dr. Diaz. He was wonderful and it made the heartbreaking loss of our little buddy easier to take. After having experienced previous losses with a traditional visit to a vet, this was so much more easy for a cat and us, allowing our cat to avoid the stress of travel to the vet, and allowing us to grieve in the privacy of our own home during the process. Buyers BEWARE - As a new dog owner I wanted to be sure and do everything for my puppy. She had…read morereceived first shots with the woman I adopted her from. When it came time for me to have the next round administered, I had been told that doing so at one of the clinic's would be far less expansive. I went to the scheduled clinic at the Tractor Supply store in our town only to be told that the Pet Vet team "did not show up" and they hadn't been there in months. I returned home. I phoned another nearby store a few towns away and was told the same. Please note this has nothing to do with Tractor Supply as they only provide space for the VIP Pet Care teams. I phoned VIP Pet Care, and their customer service rep. advised me to go to another location about 35 minutes' drive, where a clinic would be taking place that day. When I arrived, I waited 30-45 minutes to "check-in", only to be told that the annual service plan I wanted to purchase was only available in two locations in the region. One week later I drove over an hour to one of the clinics and finally was able to purchase the plan. The local staff was great and I was satisfied. I contacted customer service about how hard I had to work and the inconvenience they did essentially nothing, saying that there was no possible way they could reduce the cost or provide any sort of compensation. I was now locked into an annual service plan with a contract and would have to travel one hour each way for service. On multiple occasions I dd travel to the "Wellness Center" for Service, found a number of people with pets waiting in line and was REFUSED SERVICE. They operate on a first come - first served basis without the possibility of making appointments. Again, nothing they could or would do for the inconvenience and I had to leave - S. O. L. The local staff are terrific, caring people but the corporate level operation is all smoke and mirrors. They produce a decent looking website with well written copy that completely MISLEADS potential customers. They DUPE you into signing a contract. They do NOT give a damn about customers. When my bank card had been replaced due to potential fraud and the automated monthly payment failed, they immediately turned the account over to a third-party and harassing phone calls ensued. I resolved the matter and continued meeting the financial obligation. I recently called them to make sure they did not auto renew my service plan past the original one-year term. I was told that I could use the clinic and services through the end of this month. When I called the local center to discuss coming in to receive service before the end of the month, they advised they would be closed the day I planned to visit. Good thing I called first. This morning I arrived slightly after 10am. There were about 5-6 in line which I joined. After standing in line for more than half an hour, a pet vet representative came to the end of the line and told myself and three others that they "had reached capacity for the day". They were not going to be able to see us and treat our pets by the time of their scheduled closing at three pm. Despite explaining the situation and the HORRIBLE experience over the past year with their service plan, I was told by both the local staff who called their so-called customer service dept that I was to be REFUSED SERVICE yet again. The Tractor Supply staff was sympathetic and shared with me that the same thing happens ALL THE TIME. They suggested going to the Wellness Center in the area (another hours drive) and called them for me, only to be advised that the Vet had not shown up. All of the above is factual. ABSURD, UNACCEPTABLE, but 100% true. No amount of savings is worth the DEPLORABLE TREATMENT and COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISREGARD shown to me over the past year. I will most certainly NOT patronize PET IQ, VIP-PETCARE, VET IQ ever again and urge anyone considering doing so to think long and hard before doing so!

Besides having a stellar bedside manner and being a skilled acupucturist, Dr. G. is an astute clinician who diagnosed my dog with an abdominal mass when he collapsed during a walk. I thought he had heat stroke, but she examined him carefully, and on the basis of his age and weak hind-end pulses, she felt he might have an abdominal mass, which he did. Turned out to be a pheochromocytoma, which is usually fatal, but thanks to Dr. G's outstanding diagnostic skills, he saw a surgeon and made a full recovery after surgery. ( I think that Dr. G. has since moved to her own practice--Alternative Veterinary Therapies in Voorheesville.)

Every time I've had to take her to the vet, the following ensued (in no particular order): Biting Screaming Scratching Hissing Violent gyrations to get away Spitting (yes, spitting) Bloodletting And that was just to get her into her crate and in the car. She would have to be sedated to be examined and groomed. It was traumatic for her, for us, and I presume the vet techs. Dr. Nolan and Christine came to the house, they sedated her while she was relaxed and snoozing---they worked quickly, compassionately and thoroughly and they were FAR LESS EXPENSIVE than the previous vet. I can't say enough positive things about them. For as long as we have Ginger, we'll be a client. They are busy though, so plan on approximately 30 days or so to get an appointment. Well worth it.
