I went there stressed he had a UTI then you leave him covered in urine and also some STOOL, My poor baby looked terrible and they left him covered in his pee all scared and didn't even attempt to clean him other than putting a pee pad in his crate which did nothing to clean him otherr then soaking up the pee left in his crate. they also had to take his collar off and i wasn't going to put it on him until the next day to then realize they broke his collar taking it off him and didn't even tell me that...I love dr Kinney, she is the only good provider there but whoever treated my Milo that day did not care for him like you would your own pet, I'm extremely dissapointed with how he was cared for, i do not recommend any other vet then dr Kinney if you need to see someone there.

I brought my two senior cats in for bloodwork and an exam. One cat was then diagnosed with…read morehyperthyroidism and put on meds when the bloodwork showed an elevated thyroid level. I then received a call that the bloodwork "may have been mixed up" so bring my one cat back in for a free retest. This test indicated a low thyroid level and was significantly different from the first test with an elevated level. Instead of a vet looking at the 2 bloodtests and seeing they were so different and most likely not my cats bloodwork . I'm contacted by the vet techs and told to continue on the thyroid meds. One vet tech was not aware there was a blood test mix up and one told me when I asked why it seemed like the 2nd test was so different that it was not my cats bloodwork answered me by saying" That's a good question". Then I wonder was my other senior cat bloodtest mixed up as they were done at the same time? Meanwhile I spent $100 on thyroid meds and $520.38 on bloodwork and I still dont know if my cat has hyperthyroidism. because the new bloodwork does not show it. I was offered after complaining another free retest after taking my cats off the meds but honestly I have a very stressed old cat who has already been in for 3 blood tests and a vets office that I'm dealing with techs not the vet. I plan on going elsewhere where I can deal with a vet that can call me, and actually take the time to look at the bloodwork

They are professional, caring, and really good at what they do! Whether a visit is for a checkup, a surgery, or a follow up, the whole staff feels like a part of my extended family. They have always offered many options of care in every situation, and in the difficult times that sick animals had to be put down, they were sensitive, caring, and kind. For a person like me who sees his animals more like "persons" than property, Normanside is a veterinary practice that I am very comfortable with. I'm so glad to have them care for my precious pets.

He informed me that there was a specialist in the area, but I was not interested in extreme measures at this point. I asked what he could do. He responded that he could prescribe diuretics. My dog lived another year. I brought her there to be cremated when she died. His practice accepts reduced payment options for neutering dogs and cats I like his quiet low key manner which puts pets and owners at ease. His office staff is capable and efficient. The office has his exotic bird pet in a large cage. There is a stunning and large stained glass artwork in the front window that I heard was accepted as barter for medical care. How cool is that. Parking is on the street.

When I got there, I had only a very very short wait while a room opened up which was no problem at all, it was 10 minutes MAX, but the staff was very cognizant of our wait and kept us reassured - Even though they didn't need to! My baby's intake was quick. The tech that took her vitals was so sweet, empathetic, kind, thorough and caring of my little girl. I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for the doctor to come in. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and the big one for me, was he didn't want to do more than what was absolutely necessary - I appreciate this so much. It is far too often you find vet offices that try to take advantage and squeeze you for as much money as they can. (Sorry, not trying to bash, just has happened so much to me!) Overall, the staff at PetMedic were great, and my experience was excellent. I have already been talking to my friends about this place, and I am so grateful something like this exists for the important stuff that's not life threatening, but needs to be addressed promptly before a vet appointment. If I ever run into another situation where one of my babies needs quick help because the vet is closed, but it's not life threatening, I will for sure bring them to PetMedic, knowing both my babies and I are in good hands.
