Falkor suffered a hip dislocation after a car accident, and the team here has been absolutely amazing. They have the best rehab program I've ever seen, and my dog genuinely loves coming here. He's made incredible progress in his recovery. I'm so grateful for everything they've done for us!

Our boy a bit nervous at first.

Our boy was in need of urgent care and we're so happy we brought him to UVS. We were thoroughly impressed with the care our dog received, the kindness and expertise of the entire clinical team, as well as the facility itself. Our vet had been treating our dog for back pain but it didn't come across as anything serious. Therefore, going into the weekend, as his symptoms worsened a bit, we chose to wait until Monday to call to schedule another appointment. Instead, we were told to immediately take him to UVS - quite of shock for us. Our vet informed UVS of our pending arrival. While we were initially informed it would be a 4-6 hour wait, we were brought in within 30 minutes. The technicians were great with our boy handling him carefully and skillfully. Dr. Bishop was awesome as he took his time to explain what he was going to do, what he was doing as he did it, and then explained his observations in each step of our boy's exam. We opted to have an MRI and left our boy in their care. Dr. Bishop stated he would call us at a specific time and he did just as he said he would. Again, he thoroughly explained his observations as well as our options. We liked the fact that when we asked what he would do, he told us; so many vets in our past would not offer their opinions so this was new to us and quite welcomed as we felt we could make the most informed decision possible about our treatment plan. The lobby and exam rooms were clean and well-kept. The atmosphere helped our boy, nervous at first, quickly calm down, relax, and even nod off to sleep for a bit. I don't know what animals they care for but if your furry friend is in need of specialized or emergency care, this is definitely the place to go. About the lobby picture: what you cannot see are the staff members at each desk - they are present and helpful. There were also people in the waiting room off to the left. In other words, it was not deserted.

Exceptional care. If you have an emergency or a seriously ill animal companion this is where you want to be. Yes it is expensive but in this day and age if you adopt an animal companion you should be responsible and get them a good insurance policy immediately. Thank you Dr. Siddiqi and Dr. Little for taking excellent care of our chocolate lab Noelle after a serious ingestion of albuterol. Your quick care saved her life.

    Maddie waiting for her appt.

Every office they have is always rude, when faced with an emergency I was told they are at capacity and to look online.

This letter is written not only in mourning, but in the belief that what occurred was unacceptable and must be addressed. From the moment we arrived, the experience was cold, transactional, and lacking the urgency or compassion one would expect in an emergency setting. At one of the most traumatic moments of my life, I was met not with reassurance or decisive action, but with delays and indifference. My dog Max was in critical condition and required immediate intervention. Despite this, there was a significant delay before a doctor was able--or willing--to operate. That delay had catastrophic consequences. During the time we waited, my dog's tumor ruptured. He hemorrhaged. He suffered a stroke. What may have been survivable with timely action became fatal. It was all about the money- transactional. I firmly believe that your team's failure to act with appropriate urgency robbed my dog of his chance to live. What happened is unforgivable. I hope that acknowledging it can prevent another family from enduring the same kind of loss.

I went there stressed he had a UTI then you leave him covered in urine and also some STOOL, My poor baby looked terrible and they left him covered in his pee all scared and didn't even attempt to clean him other than putting a pee pad in his crate which did nothing to clean him otherr then soaking up the pee left in his crate. they also had to take his collar off and i wasn't going to put it on him until the next day to then realize they broke his collar taking it off him and didn't even tell me that...I love dr Kinney, she is the only good provider there but whoever treated my Milo that day did not care for him like you would your own pet, I'm extremely dissapointed with how he was cared for, i do not recommend any other vet then dr Kinney if you need to see someone there.

Yes, this is the ugly building on a crappy part of Central, but the inside and staff makes it warm and inviting inside. It looks like they may have remodeled the waiting room and exam rooms recently. Everything is bright and very clean. The first time I visited and was put in an exam room, I took the time to look around to see how clean it was, and it seemed pretty spotless, especially for somewhere that messy animals come to everyday. The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to make your dog feel like family here. The staff always remembers Leah, and also asks me about my Mom's dog as well. I think this place may be pricey compared to others, but I can't say for sure since this is my first dog. My dogs neuter was somewhere in the $600 with added testing and microchip insertion. It is $15 for nail trimming here, the flea and tick is $75 for a 6 pack - just for some comparison. I would not use this place for boarding because they do not have someone there all the time tending to the dogs, which makes me feel uncomfortable. All in all, I would recommend this place to someone, and I will continue to take my dog here until I hear a recommendation for somewhere better.
