They charged me over $500 to put a few drops of caulking on top of already existing screws (picture attached.) Sure enough, the roof leaked again, this time I climbed on the roof to see what has been done. That is when I discovered that all they did was to place single drops of Caulking on top of already existing screws. I hired another roofer and had the skylight sealed and the leak stopped, even with the recent heavy rain. This new roofer charged me only $350 for the work. My mistake was that I trusted Star Roofing's words, and did not go up on the roof to check the work myself. Lesson learned! The awful thing is that not only I would never trust this company ever again, but now I can't trust other good workers who actually do what they charge a costumer for. Yes, unfortunately one BAD APPLE, ruins the whole box.

They used satellite images to determine the repair and their assessment is that you need to replace it. Please check the reviews on Reddit for more honest reviews about this company. In addition their communication is slow, their phone is never answered and they don't call you back to discuss details or answer questions or explain anything. Edit after their response: While they say they came to the property, they never did. They gave us a quote from satellite photos and never even saw the rain damages which was the reason I reached out in the first place. When they said they couldn't reach the tenant, I immediately provided them with the photos and videos I had. The tenant also called them to follow up and was informed that nothing else was needed. Yet I had to email again days later to ask if the quote was ready. I emailed asking for someone to discuss / explain the quote to me and got a response asking for a time to call. I shared my availability and have not received any calls. I tried calling them yet there was no answer. Finally 2 weeks later we had to call another contractor come and take photos of all the rain damage and provide a proper quote. Then when I shared this review the owner immediately called me. I've attached the communication that started on the 8th of July. I would like them to provide me with the images and proof/report from the onside inspection they did. They are lying, as they never stepped foot on my property to see and assess the damages.

The good news: A Fuller Service came when they said they would; their price ($200ish) for my house seemed reasonable; and their female receiptionist was very friendly. The bads news: First, they are impossible to get ahold of on the phone. I called during their business hours at least 8 times over the course of several weeks and never once got to talk to a real person despite pushing "1". Only leaving phone messages worked. Second, when I booked my appointment I was given a window of a couple of weeks for them to contact me with a final date when they would show up. When they did send me the date, it was in a text message and the message errorenously didn't list the date! I called them back to confirm but, you guessed it... phone message. Third, when they showed up the first time they forgot to do the gutters on my garage. That really bugs me, as I specifically mentioned it during booking and the receptionist told me that she left a note in the file. Upon seeing the garage roof gutters dirty, I called to complain but you guessed it... phone message. The did come back after to correct it. So, I dunno. If you don't mind leaving phone messages AND you are home when they arrive so you can point out things they will miss (despite telling them in advance to focus on) the process should be smooth.
