Best nutritional tea shop around -- other than empire nutrition of course! Best staff, cozy environment, best flavored teas!

These arrived in a separate case inside the larger, thick carton. Both cartons were undamaged. I complained. I sent photos. First the excuse was it was damaged in transit. How, when the boxes were undamaged? Second excuse was the oatmeal company sent the damaged cans. They needed them back to be reimbursed. In the interim I was hospitalized for a few days. When I came home I asked Netrition to allow me to discard the dented cans, since I was feeling ill. I asked for a refund or replacement. I would remain a customer. No, they were sorry for the inconvenience and would rather have the dented and unsaleable cans back rather than have the loss made up by my future purchases. I returned 8 cans, the worst of the lot, and received a refund. Third and last excuse: the video from the warehouse showed the cans were not dented when they sent them out. Did the cans dent themselves? They lost a good customer and now their reputation, too.

The prices for the few things we've purchased here aren't overly competitive but it's convenient for children's supplements, this being the only place in the area we've been able to find competing brands of child-specific formulations prescribed by our pediatrician. The staff were helpful and relatively knowledgeable about stock, but this is yet another franchise desperate to get you on their mailing list via discount cards and coupons, and I continue to resent having to go through the routine of declining this on every visit. My general advice when visiting such a place, to avoid being up-sold or purchasing something you're not really clear about, is to research what you want BEFORE going in so you're making your selection based on your own needs and what science you can bring to muster on the topic, and not the bag of retail store tricks (to which we are all vulnerable no matter how well-informed).

I get either the house brand protein powder or Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey. Both go on sale twice a year for buy one, get one half off. Other times you can save 20% off. So I rarely pay full retail. I always go into the store, but you can buy online. If you auto ship, you save 10%. Because of Covid, they also have have contact free curbside pickup. The stores website is easy to use and up to date on the available inventory. The associates are very friendly and helpful. They seem quite knowledgeable. The store is well organized and stocked. It appears to have something for everyone. There's more than enough parking, and they're accessible from Mansion Blvd. or Balltown Rd. I went into GNC once, but they don't carry the brands I use. I recommend you try Vitamin Shoppe for your needs.

I always remembered that so I was hesitant about making a visit there. What I found recently was a busy store with a tendency to sell out of items quickly, especially eggs and specialty breads. It's every bit as big as the other ALDI stores in the region. It seems to carry some different items. For instance, there are free range eggs for $2.49 which I didn't see in the other locations. That alone makes it worth the visit. The ciabatta bread tends to sell out quickly. It also comes in an Asiago cheese coated version which I didn't see anywhere else. The store is clean looking but short staffed. So if shoppers make a mess of the fruit and vegetable displays it may take a while before staff can come and put the displays back in order. Keep in mind that this particular ALDI doesn't have any self-checkout options. There's only the cashier and if it happens that there's only one register open you'll need to bring your patience because you may be standing online for a few minutes.

But I still read the small print a lot on things like frozen meats and fish. Some aisles were better maintained and stocked than others.
