Jay, who does the stairs and specialty installation, did a particularly beautiful job. Both jobs by Carpet One were done very well, the seam in my family room disappeared as they assured me it would, and I LOVE the runner on my stairs. The jobs were completed professionally, the installers were friendly, and the rugs were thoroughly vacuumed afterwards to get any fuzz up. Laura Madelone was my sales person and it was like she could read my mind in terms of what I was looking for. I felt like we were old friends after spending a few minutes with her and she really listened before she showed me what she thought I was looking for - and she nailed it! Tamela was very great with the scheduling, as well. If you want a top quality job, go to Carpet One. You get what you pay for.

I had Josh's estimate 24 hours after our initial meeting. They fixed miniscule hairline cracks; caulked/prepped every hole, dent, flaw; fixed a bad "repair" (done by former owner's not-so-handyman) on the sloped ceiling at the top of the stairs that probably saved me $$$ in future repairs. They respected my belongings, covering everything as they went. They asked questions as to my preferences as they went. They arrived on time each day, and cleaned up each day. Josh and Jesse are excellent painters. My home's interior is beautiful now. Just hire them. A few photos will follow.

I am so grateful to have called Davco to work on our house. We had the best experience right from…read morethe start. They were responsive, quoted us fairly, on time, professional and lead with integrity. Last fall when we received the quote, we had some other repairs on the house that needed to be completed first. Davco told us what we could do in the meantime to tide us over, which they were under no obligation to do. Their suggestions worked AND when we reached out to them last month to say we were ready to start our chimney and foundation work, not only did they honor the quote, they had us booked on the calendar within a week. The masonry work they did on our house looks beautiful and they're even coming back to complete the last couple of spots after National Grid wraps our power lines. I can't say enough about this company. We will always use and recommend them.

The contract stated 98LF,5"wide, and 6" deep as discussed.the price of the job was 8,400.00 which was paid in cash 50% to start, 25% after removal of forms and 25% upon completion. The job was started approximately June 10th, by mid August the cement was pitting, a crack formed where the sidewalk meets the patio, no backfill was placed and cement on the garage and house.Dave was contacted and did send a worker to clean but nothing else was addressed. Two other workers stopped by and stated the job was not done correctly there is a heaved, and the crack was a combination of no rebar and excavation was not done properly. Fast forward to April 2026,after the winter there is a second crack on the east side connecting to the existing front sidewalk. My husband contacted Dave via email stated the job is not complete no backfill still and two cracks now. Dave set a worker to backfill and stopped himself where he had a conversation with my husband about the cracks and in his mind the job was completed and offered no reason for the cracks. I have left 2 voice messages May/June No response! The ironic piece of this story the supervisor of this job stopped by August 2025 on his own to make the necessary corrections to the job. Unbeknown to us he had been fired from Davco 2025 based on two botched jobs one being a garage as told to us by an employee. All I want is what I paid for and a little customer service goes a long way. The owner could care less if a customer is pleased. He tries to bully people by his attitude and belligerent manners. Made a complaint to the BBB which he has not responded to. I would not recommend him or his company to a dead man!

Unlimited Concrete and Stone did our porch project and sidewalk. The porch slab had settled…read morecreating a tripping hazard where it abutted the original smaller slab; it also impacted the posts sitting on the slab that support the roof. Along the side of our house the original sidewalk had shifted and water was running into the foundation. It was a complicated project in the sense that there were lot of moving parts. We had gotten several estimates, each with a different idea on how to resolve the issues...we were ghosted, we were left hanging, there were absurd suggestions for overlays and stamping, there were estimates too good to be true and estimates that seemed excessive. We had gotten a reliable recommendation for Jason Sperry /Unlimited Concrete and Stone. After the first time we reached out to set up an estimate appointment it was evident that we had found a reliable contractor. It only got better from there. Jason showed up for the estimate at the time we agreed upon. It was a relief to not have to go through every little problem we were trying remediate because they were all obvious to him. He laid out a plan and we felt completely confident that he was giving us a long term solution with a fair estimate. He gave us a start date and showed up with his crew of two on that date and early each day after. They never quit for the day until each stage was completed. They were an absolute pleasure to have at our home. Professional, polite, kind ...all three with a great sense of humor and easy to chat with. We actually missed them when they were done. Their work was beautiful. They took up tons of old concrete quickly and cleanly. The forms they built for the pour looked like furniture quality carpentry. They took great care to protect all the things that complicated and crowded the job ..landscaping, siding, windows. The final result was amazing. They took our current design and made some subtle changes. The little details that they added without pointing them out to us only became apparent when they were done. They had added this angled piece of concrete to the sidewalk and it was crazy how aesthetically pleasing one little change was. They leveled the last porch slab rather than the step down we originally had and again visually it was a much more polished look. On the first day that we had a torrential downpour we looked to see how well the sidewalk managed the water. The slope of the slabs was barely perceptible; it just didn't seem possible that it could redirect what was usually ankle deep water away from the foundation, but it ran off like a river. This is the difference between working with a Contractor or finding a Craftsman. Jason and his crew are true Craftsmen that know their trade, care about the quality of their work and the commitments that they've made.
