Really fast service - you just place your bags near the door and they take care of the rest while you wait in your car. Big shout out to Brian, who is always super nice. Today he went an over and beyond - I arrived right at 2pm thinking they were open until 3, but they just closed up for the day. He was literally walking out to his car but stopped and said that he could at least take in my bags (I had a whole car full!) and they would process them first thing when they opened next. I just thought that was really nice - he could have just said, "sorry! We're closed!" And I would not have blamed him one bit. So thank you so much and I will see you again soon. There is poor ventilation and the overwhelming stench of the harsh cleaning solvents they use is revolting! They do not use the green friendly cleaning solvents, Colvin Cleaners is the only local place that does! I utilized their services a handful of times and I give them one star due to their abilities to remove spots and stains. However, even though the stains are removed, you are forced to launder the finished product once you get it home to remove the overwhelming stench from the chemicals they used to remove the spots. There seems to be a revolving door of delivery drivers, as these employees are expected to do their pick up and deliveries AND solicit new business at the same time. As a family owned and operated business it is not handled in the professional manner that corporate businesses are, it is common to see the family members giving inconsistent directions and actually arguing as if they are at their dinner table! I have personally witnessed employees being called demeaning names and have also been told how racial slurs have been used by employees against other employees, yet they remain gainfully employed! I find it extremely sad that this business has been around over sixty years and is in such a state of chaos, unprofessional behaviors, and rather questionable labor law practices IE: people being paid under the table, employee injuries on the job being encouraged to go through their own insurance rather than utilizing Workman's Compensation as the law dictates. One employee tripped over an exposed pipe on the floor and was told she was banned from ever going on that side of the building again, rather than the business owners fixing the real problem! Add to that the owners tend to gossip between the employees rather than directly going to the source of their alleged concerns/questions. Their prices continue to rise, but their quality of service remains the same. Sadly, there are some very talented employees there, yet they do not get the appreciation and respect they deserve. I was once told if (the former plant manager) was too stupid to send a repaired product down the line to be inspected that I had to be smart enough to catch it! Absolutely no respect and very unprofessional words coming directly from the owner! No wonder their turn over has always been so high, people are talked down to and flat out unappreciated and clearly not valued. In my opinion I would not be the least bit surprised to see this place fold. It is never good to see a business go under, but when a business conducts itself in such a manner it is bound to happen! Save your time and money and go to Colvin Cleaners, or purchase one of the easy to use do it yourself dry cleaning kits that can be found on the shelf at Wal Mart!

A lot cheaper than another whole screen or lap top that I needed to replace the portability. So if you have a system sitting in the closet. Dig it out and bring it in. This business forced me to pay "for dry cleaning at their factory" as well, blaming it on Covid. BUT... they had no problem taking filthy money across their counter from me. Under layer of skirt was left unhemmed so it frayed and had to be fixed. Had to spend more money in order to make the dress a lace up back instead of a zipper one so it fit my already small sister. Bustling done on the sides of the skirt was also very bumpy and messy. Almost $200 spent to get the dress altered and then we had to spend even more money fixing all the mistakes made.
