While gratuity is appreciated, it is not mandatory, and it's inappropriate to pressure clients into tipping a specific amount. What's more concerning is that she was asked to add the additional $6 to the merchant receipt so she would meet the 20% gratuity, which is both unethical and unacceptable. Additionally, she was charged a $5 fee for using a card instead of cash, something that was not clearly communicated prior to her arrival. These practices come across as unprofessional and may deter future business. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve the customer experience moving forward.
