Some of the reasons I had UPS permanently removed as a carrier from my Amazon Prime account: -Drivers repeatedly leave packages at outside un-secure locations, where they are repeatedly stolen - despite having the building access code printed right on the address label. (incompetence) -Drivers repeatedly mark packages as delivered when they are not delivered. (lies) -Drivers have declined to deliver packages saying a signature was required - when there was no signature required. (lies) -Drivers leave packages at wrong apartments. (incompetence) -I have had many, many conversations with persons calling themselves supervisors at the local UPS office about the repeated failures to deliver and the lies of drivers. They still can't correct whatever is wrong. This has been going on over a year. At this point, because of the excessive number of failures by UPS to deliver, within my Amazon Prime account the paperwork has been processed to permanently remove UPS as a deliverer to my address. Not an easy thing to have done, but when the problems are excessive and documented by Amazon, they will do that. read more

UPS is the biggest joke around. We live in Hayden Idaho. We have not had snow for 10 days and yet they refuse to deliver. I explained that I was even to drive up our small road to the top (where USPS delivers mail daily) yet they refuse to call me even though i gave them my phone number. They simply don't want to work. I missed the first "Signature required" delivery and had two more chances before my package was sent back to the sender. So I signed up for UPS notifications. Text messaging says the package would be delivered between 2 and 6 PM. Instead, delivery was attempted at 9 AM. I was not there to sign. Could not risk another chance so paid $5.99 to have a delivered to a UPS store. And there is no way to get reimbursed for the $5.99. Yeah, I'm cheap. Of course, the humans at the store on S. Grand Boulevard in Spokane WA were great. Actual humans are usually great. Go humans! The UPS chat robot was useless. read more

I didn't want it to come down to leaving a review, but once again my package status showed as "out for delivery". I have been waiting all day and my package has not shown up. Normally this would be fine, but there is no update as to what happened or where my package is. There is a huge lack of communication between UPS and the customer. I'd give zero stars if allowed, I paid for next day air and my package was improperly put on the wrong truck and obviously will not be delivered next day so a refund you might think well no not at all!!! I will never use ups again and certainly don't pay for next day air because it's false!!!! It is almost imp to get to a live person to talk to about issues, everything is suggested to be done online!!! I do a lot of online ordering but at this point I'm completely done with UPS. I made a point to watch my tracking on the map, I made a point to be home to sign for my package, I'm literally sitting on the other side of my front door and receive an email that says my package could not be delivered. This makes no sense to me because I'm literally waiting for a knock on my door, but no one knocked. I opened my door and there's a sticker. At the same time I'm actively receiving notifications from Amazon saying that my package could not be delivered, that's how much time passed between him sticking it on my door and me opening it. I called to figure out why he didn't knock. She apologizes tells me they'll contact me within the hour and try and get it redelivered tonight. Half hour later I get a phone call from a lady who in much more words tells me I'm lying. Then she says he's not in the area and I inform her that I can see him right now. Then she says well he's got 60 other packages to deliver and I'm not going to make him come back. That's all hunky-dory with me I have no problem driving 5 blocks to pick up my package from the access point. My issue is the dishonesty of both the driver and the woman who called me and pretty much told me I was a liar. They should have more respect for their customers and should hold their delivery drivers to a higher standard of integrity and accountability. read more

well they have done it again, my shipment arrived totally destroyed. the box looks like something u would find at the dump. my air compressor was marked fragile, i hate to see if it was just marked normal. they had dropped it so hard it broke the cover bolt right off. the air intake line was dented, it is located on the inside of the tank top. the box had been retaped so either they used it or dropped it and the air tank fell out of the box. how can a company that has such a bad track record be in business??? read more
