The facility was super clean, with something for kids of all ages to enjoy, and the staff was amazing from start to finish. A special shoutout to Aya, Saraid, and Melanie--they truly went above and beyond! They helped us set up a beautiful balloon arch, served the kids, kept everything organized, and even handled all the cleanup afterward. They made the entire party feel so easy and stress-free for us. We had such a great experience and will definitely be hosting another party at Fit City Kids! Highly recommend!

They kept the party running smoothly by making announcements over the intercom to let everyone know when it was time to eat and when we were cutting the cake. It made the whole event so organized. My son had the best birthday, and all of our family and friends told us how much fun they had. The facility was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire party. I highly recommend Fit City Kids to anyone looking for a fun, organized, and stress-free place to host a birthday party. Thank you for making our son's special day so memorabl

I've wished the bounce houses there were wiped down more often, so when I saw that Next Level Play Center was about the same price and in the same area, I decided to give it a try. I was impressed as soon as we walked in. The place smelled clean, and the young women at the front desk were friendly and helpful. There's pizza, hot dogs, plenty of snacks, and extra games and machines for the kids to enjoy. They even have massage chairs that are operable and more than enough for the adults to enjoy, which was a bonus for me! This place was clean everywhere you walked the kids had a great time, and I think we've found our new indoor play place.

We came here to beat the heat because the heat index was 105 degrees! He had the entire play structure with slides to himself and loved exploring it. There is an awesome colorful net structure that I have never seen before. He enjoyed balancing on it. I like that they allow the parents to play with their kids, which can be helpful for the little ones. There was a smaller section for kids age 0-3. There were also lots of arcade games that you can play with a reloadable game card. Our favorite was the Nerf target shooting game and the rubber duck crane (there's a winner every time!) We scored 3 rubber duckies for our kiddo's collection. Outside food is not allowed, but there is a snack bar with drinks and food. There are also plenty of tables to sit at and there's a wall of massage chairs for the exhausted adults that need some pampering! We will definitely be back after school on another weekday. We probably spent a little over an hour here and had a lot of fun!

I found this place on yelp when looking for a cool place for my 1, 3 and 5 year old. The photos…read moreoffered various spaces for each age so we made our 30 minute trek here. Unfortunately, parking is super sparse. They have about 6-8 spaces in their lot but none were available. They had a map of where parking was available (a lot of neighboring streets) so that was super helpful. Upon arriving, the barista was super friendly. The staff who checked us in were nice enough and $57 later, the kids were off. My 1 year old loved the small wooden structures in the baby area. There were plenty of toys and things to interest her and she got her exercise crawling around and walking assisted. My 3 and 5 year old favored the jungle gym, campers room, and lego room. They loved the numerous plush animals and faux fire pits. They built small fort rooms under the larger wooden play structures and kept themselves busy. Far as the cafe, I ordered a vanilla latte but it was too strong for my preference. The barista added more ice and milk for me, but it was still too much. I also ordered a large ube latte for someone and they loved it. We had packed bento boxes and it was nice being able to bring our own food (though signs say no outside business foods). Only downside was that certain areas were better air conditioned than others. The smaller children's area near the loose toys was steamy and I could see condensation on the signs on the window. Was sweating playing with my 1 year old there, but otherwise, other areas like the campers room were nicely ventilated. In total, we stayed about 3 hours and my kids still wanted to stay. We will be back!

Today, we went to a music class! It's a great place to have parties because all ages can find something to do here! There's so much variety in the different play areas (there's even a crawling area!). It always smells and feels clean when we go, which is something that I neeeed when I go to kid play areas! Extra bonus is: they have coffee! I always try a new one when I go but they're always so good! This time, I tried the coconut ube latte which was so good! My drink didn't look like my friends (hers had a brown layer in it) but it was still delicious. They have a small parking lot that holds maybe six or seven cars but there is a bunch of free parking all around (watch out for areas that need permit though!).

Perfect place to have your toddler's party!…read more There's a reason Purple Monkey keeps popping up every time I looked up toddler birthday party! I was a bit hesitant for the price of the venue but it was so worth it. First, it's private. Just for your kid(s) and their friends. It's a large room with a section that has tables and a kitchenette for the food and cake part and the rest is for the kiddos. There's a play kitchen, train set, a slide, all the things any toddler would love. Even my 11 year old enjoyed it because it reminded him of his younger years. I love that you get a "helper" with the part packages. Ours was Shannon and she was great. Helped decorate a bit. Cut the cake. All the things you need help with that you may not have time for and feel bad asking someone else to take charge of. Overall we had a great party. Couldn't ask for more.

They also had a little library and even an art corner setup. There were so many fun little spaces for her to explore. Everything was very clean and the set up is executed well. As a parent I appreciate places like these especially on a rainy day or even in the winter. It also allows my daughter to explore new toys and then I have an idea of what she will like at home. Such a cute indoor play space for toddlers and little kids. We'll definitely be coming back soon and hopefully get to enjoy one of the many events they also host geared specifically to kiddos!

I 100% recommend this space for anyone looking to host an event, especially if you are doing one with several young children in attendance.

Okay I have to share this gem of a play space we found in Logan Square…read more It's a small, locally-owned spot and you can feel the care in every detail the second you walk in. The whole space is beautifully done--like truly thoughtfully designed, not just thrown together. The colors, the textures, the little house setups... everything just works. What I loved most though is how culturally rooted it feels without being overdone. The play food, the kitchen setup, the art on the walls--it all reflects a Latino-owned space in a way that feels natural, warm, and intentional. It actually made the whole environment feel more alive and meaningful. It's also just... calm. Which, if you have kids, you know is rare I could actually sit, breathe, watch them play, even get a little work done without feeling overstimulated. It's such a good alternative if you're trying to avoid the chaos of the bigger play places. There's a sweet little baby area, a building station, and the cutest play houses that my kids were completely locked into. I really, really hope this place sticks around because spaces like this matter. You can tell it was built with heart.

Luna y Cielo is a nice space. I've been curious about it for months but haven't been able to get…read morehere. It's one of the larger play cafes I've been to in the city--perhaps the only one that's bigger is in part because it's a co-working space. But Luna y Cielo has more play stations than that place. There's a couple play kitchens, various stations and tables for kids to play at or things to play with. There is an infant section in the front of the store that is for the littlest ones, aged 0-11 months. There's a nice library that holds books in both English and Spanish, in accordance with their business model. And they have a really nice, solid, incredibly well built little house for kids play in, with a little cot and some clothing for children to play with, as well as a small slide attached. I like that the house is built directly into the walls and of the building because that makes it sturdy and strong enough for parents to climb in after their littles if need be. There's a party room in the back, and they do rent the space out for parties. You have to take your shoes off upon entering so that the place can remain clean but you also need to bring socks, though they have socks here for purchase if you forget. There are a couple of bathrooms and also a couple changing stations outside the bathroom as well. If there might be improvements made, it could potentially be useful to have a quiet room in case some kiddos need to take a break from the play. I also wouldn't mind there being some places for caregivers to sit; they have a long bench along one side of the room, but some of it was covered with pillows which I felt bad removing and also it was not super duper comfy. I came for their Halloween party, so the price was different than the everyday price but I remember glancing at their rates and it wasn't bad, not out of line with other play places in the area. I do remember that siblings under six months can come for free. There is parking along Armitage on this stretch and though we were here on Halloween, I don't think it impacted the parking all that much--there was plenty, which I have been worried about when I've considered going. They have classes, programs, and other special activities so it is certainly worth following their instagram to keep informed about what's going on. I love that they have mommy and me Spanish classes; I really want to join these but I work during the Wednesday time and have a standing appointment during the Saturday time. But I love that they are here as a resource for families that are already bilingual and those that want to be. The place has had some struggles, and it doesn't help during the warm months I don't think when there are so many places to go and things to do. They have some snacks for purchase, and drinks as well. If you care for little ones, I'd suggest giving Luna y Cielo a visit and I believe they have memberships/packages/gift certificates, too.
