New building at Spencer and Little Bourke Streets. Being from NYC, I love the play on New York - Upper West Side building, with 4 residential towers - Hudson, Manhattan, Madison, and Midtown.
Location is good - across the street you have Southern Cross Station, shopping, and Coles (inc. liquor and pharmacy). The building has created 2 laneways, which offer quick options for food and drink.
You can walk up Little Bourke to get to Chinatown (about 20 minutes), or down Spencer to hit Collins Street and eventually the Yarra river (15 mins).
The building has 45 floors - elevator banks split 1-20 and 20-45, which helps a little with congestion. Gym and pool are on level 2.
Apartments are small but can fit a good amount if arranged well (and if you live simply). There seem to be a lot of airbnbs here, and also the populace appears to overwhemingly Asian (including Indian). read more
