A close friend of mine lives in this building so I have been out and about it quite a few times…read more Fresh water definitely offers luxury living. The apartments are very spacious and offer fantastic views of the city thanks to the ceiling to floor windows. The kitchen is also furnished with modern stovetops and cabinets. Freshwater have 2 recreational floors available for its residents. Level 10 offers a 'rooftop' garden with bbq areas, a pool, sauna, spa, gym steam room, business room and function center (with kitchen). Level 40(only available to tenants living on lv 40 or above), offers similar facilities with the exception of being the exclusive 'skyline club'. The facilities here are all incredible, they are modern, sleek and well designed. The equipment in the gym is all new and the lounge areas are clean and comfortable. Freshwater also have a concierge service and excellent building entrance security. If I'm ever on the market for a CBD apartment (and if I have enough money), I would seriously consider this place.

The 10th floor facilities have one of the best gyms and swimming pools in the city and rivals a premium health club in terms of the facilities and how well it's kept. There is also a Cinema room next to the pool which I would book quite regally to watch BluRays and Digital downloads. Outside is a rooftop garden... Whilst it could be a little greener, it still offers a nice space to relax and look out to the city. With regards the the units and as pointed out in Irene C's review, there is a fantastic views of the city and the ceiling to floor windows are awesome both day and night. I lived on the 26 floor overlooking the Casino, the river and Batman & Enterprise Park. The fire display (on the hour in the evenings) never failed to make me think... Wow, thats still quite cool! The location is great and directly underneath the tower is an basic IGA and a few good little coffee shops, although only open in the daytime. It's quite a transient place with a lot of people only short-term leasing, but in a way I liked that as you get to meet a wider array of interesting people to talk with when knocking around in the community areas. It also makes sense if you are looking for a temporary place to learn the City if coming from somewhere else. I would seriously recommend living there if you like city apartments or if you are looking to relocate to Melbourne and want a central pad as a base whilst you find out more about the city as a whole.

ONKY USE THIS Man WIRH A VAN IF YOU WANT A NIGHTMARE!…read more I have a lot of stuff to move so I emailed Man With A Van in advance with photos showing absolutely everything and spoke with them on the phone. They said that they would have 5 people and two vans. Because I was concerned about their $450 per hour price tag and knew the price would be based on the amount of time they would take, my family and I moved all of the small items over the before today. They arrived with the two vans but ONLY HAD 3 movers. Upon arrival, the movers told me that it would cost me more than they quoted. They started moving a few things from the back yard and then left without saying a word and left a bunch of my patio furniture in the front yard. I then got a phone call from their office that their drivers did not feel safe (there is nothing unsafe at my property). I imagine they felt unsafe because there were only 3 men for a minimum 5?men job. This company sucks!

So, here is a really awesome idea for the uncool, un-trendy removalist industry- buy a fleet of…read morevans and give them a really memorable name and WHAMMO you just made your first mill. Come on down, Man With A Van!! No-one likes moving- even those who just won tattslotto and are moving into their first mansion surely despise the thought of wrapping all their crap up in newspaper, hiring a truck and heaving their unwieldy furniture up and down stairs, around corners and into its new home. Cue, Man With A Van! Nowadays you can actually get multiples of men, with a truck no less, to do bigger moves, and the prices aren't as dirt cheap as tehy used to be. (Capitalism will do that to a society). But MWAV still has my vote because God help me if I have to dismantle and move my bed by myself. Thanks MWAV for saving my spine more times than once!

4 star by standard, 90%checked,…read more The location just not so far from southern cross station, right in front of Virgin Active HQ, surrounding by cafes, food court, restaurants, barber shops, 7-11, and bars. And free zone tram stop, just literally 30 seconds away from the entrance of this building! Very very handy! Good view as you can see from my pictures from my rooms that I stayed in. Facility room are good enough, standard modern equipments, and every rooms come with good view as well. Gym rooms separated between cardio, weight room and stretch lounge room. While you in sauna room, you can enjoy also the view, it is amazing! Inside your unit, laundry room provided with washing machine and dryer plus some detergent. Vacuum cleaner and cooking equipments are also equipped. Very convenient! Well, you must asked why I gave only 4 stars ?(because there is no option for 3,5 stars option available!) You must see the review below me, I don't disputed some fact that are true, I found soft mandarin almost rotten on fruit basket for breakfast that provided, and the Windows from my apartment when I came in the first day not so clean, marked of finger prints in some Windows, and evidence of thin layer of dust in corners of living rooms and bed rooms. If you asked me if I wanted to come back to stay next time, I would say yes with out doubt!

Here's where you collect your keys and register, they take a copy of your ID and CC so be ready for that. Our apartment (also on the 61st Floor) had AMAZING view, breathtaking, you see all of Port Melbourne, watch the spirit of Tasmania come and go, all of docklands, the bolte bridge, the westgate bridge. Just downstairs is a convenience store for all supplies like milk and bread (apartment has a toaster and kettle and tea/coffee). The swimming pool, spa and sauna are on level 33 and we went every night to tire out the kids.. it worked a treat. Tram is just outside although it's a short walk to places like Southern Cross station. I took the boys for a train ride to Yarraville and watched a movie at the Sun Theatre which is an easy walk from yarraville station. We ate in a lot and ordering was a breeze, I downloaded deliveroo app and just pulled in the address and had no problems. If you are going to do this, take my code dezr as a voucher to get $20 off your first order (you're welcome) The apartment has laundry facilities, including detergent, and a dishwasher with power provided. The internet is nice and fast and flawless. You get an apple tv device with netflix provided, it really is a home away from home and I'd recommend this place easily to my friends. My only suggestion is I'd have liked more towels provided and a tea towel too

HORRIBLE... I've…read morebeen living with cockroaches for months (actually I saw one at night of the first day I moved in after I've signed the contract)... I talked to the management while they heartlessly asked me to buy pest control myself with a smiling face. And today I saw a mice... Also, the bathroom is shared. Not only with other residents, but also with moths and all kinds of wired creatures. You will also share the kitchen with the sparrows. Besides, the heater is time limited, you have to remember to press the button every several hour to keep your room warm in winter. Plus, I don't know what's wrong with their fire alarm. It has rang about 10 times (3 time at midnight) since I moved here with no actual danger. The loud noise of the alarm seems more harmful then the fire threat, it mights hurts hearing. Moreover, the internet is not only expensive ($39.95 for 30000 MB) but also INCONTINENCE . It allow you to connect ONLY ONE device at a time. So if you want to use internet on tablet while your laptop is connected to the line, you have to: first, login to the portal on your tablet; second, select disconnect button in the portal for your laptop; third, re-login to the portal; forth, select connect button in the portal for your tablet. I can write even more complains for this horrible accommodation.... The rent is $1083 per month for a single room.

My partner lives in this building so I'm constantly in and out of the place…read more Although his apartment is in a relatively well-maintained condition, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the other rooms available weren't. The building itself is not bad, but it's some the people living inside this student accommodation where the problem lies. It seems as though they have no respect for the place or the other people living in it. Cleaners only come once a week, which wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for the idiot/inconsiderate tenants that decide it's okay to leave rubbish in the middle of the hallway (such as empty bottles and wrappers). It stays there for the entire week, and the owners of the rubbish happily walk past it day in day out without a care. Even the lift has scrunched up papers and wrappers in it, I mean...seriously? The type of people that live here must be idiots. Last week the fire alarm went off and we were required to exit via the stairwell, we discovered to our horror that on one of the floors someone had continuously left their rubbish! Yes, bags upon piles of bags of rotting stinky rubbish! And no, it wasn't like papers and recycling items, it was real rubbish with rotting food etc. I have no idea who thinks it would be okay to leave rubbish in a stairwell, not only is it a fire hazard (because it was blocking half the platform), but it's plain stupid and shows the lack of care some of these tenants have for the place. If this place managed to get rid of the retards, it would be very livable. For now, we just put up with the sights and smells and pray whoever doing it gets struck by lighting.
