The UVAC has always been consistent in helping me to better myself. Everyone there is so nice and helpful. I go twice a week and do the water aerobics classes in the warm pool. The instructor is so inspiring and fun. I can already see an improvement in flexibility and it's only been a couple of weeks! I'm losing weight and the whole experience is such a joy. It's really my only hope of getting exercise and I'm so grateful to the folks there who make it possible for me. Thank you SO much UVAC. read more

The Upper Valley Aquatic Center is committed to the community. Over the past year I have seen how they can adapt the mind and bodies of underprivileged youth in the community. UVAC is a very special place to stay healthy in the water or in one of the many group fitness classes. They have such a special place to carve out whatever my fitness goals are now and what they may be in the future. I'm incredibly grateful for their generosity by offering financial assistance to those who may not be able to afford the full membership price but want a place to challenge our mind body and soul. read more

Love this gym and the staff, fellow users, and care for cleanliness and safety with Covid. I don't get the complainers, sounds like they just want more than is reasonable. Great great workout and swim facility. Thank you UVAC. Matt Starr read more

WOWWWWWW, the people working here are so RUDE ! I wanted to call and make sure I was reading the things online correctly that I have to pay FULL price for me and my kids to come swim for only a hour ?!? How does that even make sense ?!? The lady was so rude to me ! And I'm disgusted that this is how they want to run this facility now, by OVER CHARGING EVERYONE ! Same price but you only have a hour ! Really sad another thing ruined for our tiny town !!! read more

It took me 5 days to get an appointment to use the warm water pool area. I understand that since it was school vacation for both of our communities. I finally got an appointment for yesterday, Monday, Feb 28th for 11:00- 12:00 pm. I desperately wanted my grandchildren to experience the lazy river and playground area. After less than 2 turns around in the lazy river pool, a lifeguard came over to me and told me they "would be shutting down the water in 15 minutes" why? Because there was a water aerobics class. I was more than slightly angry. My grandchildren had been looking forward to this all week!! Their parents work and they NEVER get to do anything like this, it was their first experience. Then the lifeguard said he would try to keep the playground water on, but it didn't work! I was furious! I just paid for this and drove 40 miles with very happy kids, and we had just started! No one told us in advance, or, when we filled out the paperwork at the front desk that this would be the case. Finally, after complaining A LOT, they turned it back on. Needless to say, we only got about 30 minutes out of our hour. I am still angry, they need to tell you before you drive 40 miles to get there with kids expecting to swim for an hour! Wrong of them to even make reservations when they have a class going on if they have to shut off the lazy river and playground. My little grandson had to play in the puddle left at the bottom of the slide ~just wrong. read more

"I just wanted to take a moment to extend a sincere thank you for our Financial Aid at UVAC . Having an outlet during the winter months has been so beneficial for our daughter with special needs and benefits us as a family! The energy needed to swim about and play in the water helps in decreasing our daughters hyperactivity, which in turn helps her concentrate on tasks, self-regulate and on nights we swim we see improvements in her sleep. It helps her get her energy out in a positive way esp. after a long school day. The whole family enjoys ALL your amenities and we can't thank you and your sponsors and the people who donate to make this possible enough! Thank you once again" read more

So, I had just called and had horrible experiences. Carry was so impatient, and was inconvenient by my call! If I'm calling I don't want to you want to tell me to JUST go online! On the website it wasn't clear, where the stuff we were looking for is. So that's why we had called. If you can't help your members on some questions then why do we want to come??? read more

Aquatic center has been our savior during this chaos time. We were worried but all the time been swimming all the cleaning and only few swimmers has made us at ease. Also it help our family to have exercise and family time out of the house. We really appreciate the time spent together that is healthy. read more

This center is an excellent place to go if you are visiting New Hampshire and have children. We took several kids including a teenager with severe special needs. The center is well equipped to handle special needs people. There are special benches for special needs people in the changing rooms. This makes life incredibly better. Please believe me that I have been to many different water places with my special needs child. This one was the best indoor facility for his needs that I have encountered in 15 years. It is small compared to a great wolf lodge, but sometimes small is better. The water area is perfect for a family with a special needs child. There is a lazy river that goes around and around. It is not overwhelming. There is another area just for play, and two slides. This is a waterpark that is manageable for a family with multiple kids. There were several children with special needs kids at the pool at the same time. Everyone we encountered was nice. This is inclusion at its best. Also, the price was right. We played for several hours. The kids were seven dollars apiece. The adults for $15. I feel that we got our moneys worth out of this one. One thing, if you are expecting the snack bar to be open, call ahead. The snack bar was closed. We ended up ordering pizza from Domino's. read more

My favorite fitness center in the area, cost-effective and offers around 60 free classes for members per week. Would definitely recommend it. Much more than an aquatic center, I primarily use the fitness center and the classes, but when I do swim in the lap-pool it is a good experience. read more

Upper Valley Aquatic Center - Splash park!!! So much fun!! - Swimming Pools Near Me - White River Junction, Vermont

This is a great little place. It's not an indoor water park like Coco Keys it's smaller has one water slide for bigger kids, a wading pool with a water jungle gym and water slide for smaller children, a lazy river and a larger pool area for general swimming and water basketball. Very clean and best of all not crowded. We were the only ones there for awhile. All the kids had a great time and asked when we could go back. Great prices too. read more

Upper Valley Aquatic Center - As you can see behind my son it is a very nice place - Swimming Pools Near Me - White River Junction, Vermont

My son just loves going to the aquatic center, and so do I. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The splash park is so much fun for the little guys and i love the lazy river. My son is enrolled in swim lessons and the instructors are so great with him. Just an all around fun atmosphere. read more

Awesome place to bring little ones. Took one star off because the locker rooms are set to "Arctic Tundra in January" temperature which is tough for kids. read more

This is a great place to bring kids, especially in the winter also great for parties. We have had two birthday parties there. Facility is great. I would give this 5 stars, but my only complaint is that if you want to bring your child there to swim you also have to by a pass even though you are clearly doing nothing other than observing. They need to figure out how to do a parents/guardian pass, like a different color bracelet for a third of the price or something. I'd go more often if that were the case. It's a little too far for me to get a membership but we do spend time there. read more

The staff at UVAC are rude, and unprofessional. They act like its a privilege to swim, or work out here. I'm a paying member, perhaps you should treat people like people, and not cash cows. Your expanding the facility, do you know how that happens? From paying members, and by treating the public with respect and gaining more members. Better to spend your money somewhere else, the UVAC doesn't really care about its members, and the staff sets a horrible example for little ones. read more

If you want to see a huge change in your overall health and way you feel, try Shed and Shred. I got a personal trainer who led workouts that are not boring! The workout moved along pretty quickly, too! I loved working with my small group of three, we all motivated each other, and the personal trainer gave us each the attention we needed. read more

My whole family loves UVAC! It's got two great pools, one of which is warm and shallow which my little guys love. We've taken several sets of swim lessons, and the teachers are great -- they really like kids and meet them where they are (not our experience at other places). My husband and 2 year old are doing a parent and me lesson series right now, and are having a great time. In addition to that, the warm pool has a "lazy river" with a gentle current and a number of slides, which, as you can imagine, the kids are all over. The pools are great, but my favorite part is that, as a member, I can drop my kids off for free in the childcare center while I work out. The kids have fun playing and I can burn off some calories. Then we all whoop it up in the pool afterwards. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

I am a new member and came to use the pool 35 minutes before the posted closing time. However, I was rudely refused access to the pool. I had previously been told (verbally) that the pool closes 15 minutes before the facility (which should be explicitly stated in their business hours). This still afforded me 20 minutes to use the pool before it closed. I even politely assured the person at the front desk that I just wanted to jump in the pool for 10 minutes, but she continued to rudely refuse me access. First of all, if this is your policy, make it clear through signs at your facility and on your webpage. Secondly, I probably would not have minded so much if the employee (who is the customer service director, ironically) had not been so hostile and authoritarian about the whole thing. This is a service I have paid for and intended to use within the designated pool hours, but was denied service without any reasonable explanation. read more

I suggest you take a class with Garrett! He is an amazing instructor, I've never had so much fun working out. This is an amazing gym, a good amount of equipment and a lot of classes offered. I didn't check out the pool area but it looked amazing. I was only temporarily living in the area so was only a member for a few months but I wish I had access to a facility like this. read more

I love the equipment and the facilities here and most of the employees work hard to create a supportive environment, however two nights in a row we have been rudely dealt with at 5 of 9 to get out. I understand you close at 9 but I have never ever been treated with such rudeness. We are very conscious about getting out of there by 9 because this is the only time we are able to workout. I absolutely cannot believe for how much I pay that a lifeguard (Dylan Chris) can yell at me to get out because he has a life too. Tapping on the window and then yelling at us to leave two nights in a row is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. He did not try to diffuse the situation instead he escalated the situation and continued to yell. This will be the last month that my three friends and myself will be purchasing a membership and it's sad because it is all due to the interaction with this one individual. I have never been treated as such. read more
